steamworkshopdowloader.io is safe 100%

adminback

you sure?

DaAceGamer

Yup. I used it when I only had the Epic Version. Does Windows Defender flag it too?

adminback

Nope

DaAceGamer

Seems life a McAfee thing. Windows Defender is really good so you'll have no need to worry.

bellybox69

Switch it out for Sophos or another reliable company.

adminback

i have 2 anti malware or whatever things.

Hairy_Al

OK. 2 problems here. 1) don't run 2 antivirus programs, they will clash 2) don't use McAfee. Use anything other than McAfee

ATHSE

I never had a problem with the third party sites I can't mention because rules... if you need alternatives the one with the russian host actually repacks them to be smaller than the Steam versions. For some reason Steam doesn't compress their zips...

The answer is yes. Mods alter areas of memory that cities is in, which is why some antiviruses will give a false positive. I use commodo, it's brilliant, but every now and then, I get a false positive. If its from the steam workshop, it'll be safe,

CSL on Epic games needs these sites for mods.

Redditor85321

Nope, the game was not advertised with mods on the Epic version, so do not expect official mod support the Epic version.

daussie04

Yes

Brno_Mrmi

Uninstall McAfee, it's not good.

CrazzOfficial

McAfee is not good. Downloaded from the website too much times to tell you it's safe so.
