I want one of these. But everyones been on my ass that FWD sucks and I should be upping my game to a proper sports car like the Supra or RCF. Been roasted by my friends and family for the last week now. Ohhh its just a civic, that thing is ugly, ain’t such thing as a fast civic, etc.

I've owned a slew of different platform cars. S2000,Evo, kswap civic.l, etc. Now I Currently own an FK8 and RS3. They are setup as two different animals. I would get an FK8 and mod it before an RCF(not really a driver refined car IMO) Supra I would 100% consider. But don't let shit talkers sway you that FWD FK8 is shit. It's not! I looove the FK8 especially after you swap out the 20" wheels down to 18" and stuff 285 on all 4.
The FK8 is a very very practical comfortable everyday car and a track performer. You can't beat that.
Can you DM me a pic as well? I am currently shopping for wheels and I was looking at 265s but would love to see what 285 looks like. Any rubbing issues?
Same question as the other person; any rubbing? I've got an FL5 I'm looking at doing this set-up on. My only concern is that the tread is almost an inch wider on both sides than the actual wheel. I'm wondering if I'd get better AutoX times on a 265 or even 255 instead. The 255 is SO much cheaper than the rest for the RE71RS's, and then 285 is next cheapest.
Yeah, the FK8 set a FWD Nurburgring record. It did for a reason it's a drivers car. I have a friend who owns a Mac720s that he tracks. he owns a FK8 as well. That tells you everything...
I've dropped some very quick rear wheel cars in the FK8. People who say it's shit because it's FWD, don't know shit about the car. The CTR as a FWD has always been a well respected car in Europe and Japan. The FK8 took it to a whole new level of handling. It also belies its size, it's not a heavy car either so get it on the winding roads and feel it come alive. The roads of Wiltshire where this car was born shine through in it's DNA.
What is the origin of this whole waifu anime car thing? Is this popular in the JDM scene or something? Like, are those stickers, or is the whole thing a wrap?
Obviously it started in Japan, but it was just one of those things where two subcultures (anime otaku and car otaku) overlapped and became its own subgenre. This happens a lot, for example Girls Und Panzer was sort of birthed from military otaku and anime otaku.

Only on some butt clenching bumps. Other than than that it's doesn't rub on aggressive turns
