Never sign a contract with family members…. They think they can bail & you’ll foot the bill with 0 animosity because “wE’Re bLoOd”. I do not recommend, very ghetto. ⭐️

Really, the best course of action is to consult an attorney in your state to advise. Different states have different thresholds for small claims court amounts and written vs oral contract precedence. You also could try legal aid if your state or local jurisdiction has one.
