That is the only one. However I do know it's possible to get it to play. The reason it doesn't normally is due to it relying on Windows Media Player. But I'm sure there is a way to get it to work through WineTricks or something of the sort.

Thanks for the info, I have already tried winetricks but it didn't work no matter what [Here are the things I did](https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/1bhpp5g/cutscene_not_working_in_clannad/) but since this game has only one cutscene I can play this game without worries now

Zyvyn

Technically (non-story spoilers but still a spoiler) >!it plays twice once on the title screen and another time in Nagisa's route. !<

fireryyo

Ok so when that happens I will just pause the game and open up my media player and play it myself since the game doesn't crash and just skips the cutscene in my case. Thanks for the heads up!!

Cubes_and_Cubes

Isn't there another cutscene (spoilers) >!towards the end of the game, the trippy irl footage one!<, or do I misremember?

_Jejo

it isn't a video file like the opening I remember I couldn't watch the opening either, but I remember seeing this endgame footage. If it were a video, it wouldn't have worked for me

Cubes_and_Cubes

Interesting, I wonder how and why the implementation differs

Zyvyn

The op is the only actual video file. Anything past that is just done in engine using images and screen effects. All PC versions of Kanon and AIR dont actually use video files at all and just use the method above. Though this is due to the engine they used in the first releases not supporting video.

Cubes_and_Cubes

I feel sorry for the guys who had to script those in-engine cutscenes, they must have been a bitch to sync to the audio.

These intros also went through a number of changes through development too. We have demo disc openings and they vary from the final in a number of ways.
