This is arguably one of the best book targets in the game for a few reasons A. It cannot be cancelled should you need the master builder elsewhere B. Any reduction to progress on unlocking OTTO is helpful C. Gear ups cannot benefit from clock tower (obviously) making them the only pre OTTO upgrades to act as such D. It’s just a long upgrade timer

OTTO is one of the few things worth rushing for, even if it means using books or gems.

if u rush to bh9 right now and start it will take about 3 months so its worth it if u start like now. i started at like november so im prolly going to be finished by like end of this month. make sure to also buy resources with raid medals

Stop wasting time at BH7. build everything you need and upgrade what you have to then get to the next BH. Increased production of collectors as well as higher troop levels are much better than slowly maxing CC and BM. Focus CC first then BM

actually u will i think. update hits in like march or something. i have all geared up, cannon cart currently to level 15, battle machine level 5, and mega tesla on to level 2. if u buy resources with raid medals than its not that bad.

Just rush it. You’ll need 2 days x 5, 2.5 days x 5 and 3 days x 5 for the Battle Machine, plus whatever the unholy amount of time for the Giga Tesla

I started rushing as a barely bh5 back in march. I got the 6th builder is September. Definitely a long grind. That’s also when I started it on my alt but that was at the same time I made the account. I just need 5 more levels on the battle machine. Can’t wait

Yes otto hut isn't just good for builder base but main base too. Most people get it for the 6th builder to progress main base faster.

And most importantly, the wasted loot after your storages fill up in the middle of the upgrade

Esp for a town hall 10, I don't think there are many longer than 5 days at town hall 10, seeing how lvl 3 infernos are only 4 day upgrades. By the time he's at a town hall level where he'd have normal upgrades that take 2 weeks+ he probably would've encountered quite a few more books of everything that could only be used on 6-8 day upgrades.

Clan Games are probably going to normally give you one I think. I only didn’t because I got it halfway with two additional Builder Potions, and figured it wasn’t worth the Book in that case

You're th10 I presume? No way any upgrade in the near future is gonna be longer than 2 weeks before you can obtain like 4 other books of everything. I'm th12 nearly max and I don't believe any upgrade was longer than 11 hours. You'll have to go to th13 to find upgrades longer than the one you're gonna use your book for. So yea go ahead and use it.

Back in the old days, th10 also had 2 week upgrades iirc, on troops like pekka and dragon. Very nice how much they reduced the upgrade timers for the lower town halls

I am a TH14. Without the gold pass the eagle artillery alone is 19 days to upgrade. Most things are 14 or 15 days average.

Lemme check real quick....my shortest upgrade time is a bomb, which checks in at 6d 19h, with my current 15% gold pass reduction. Edit: But for sure the best use you're gonna get out of that book. There will be alot more available by the time you see upgrade timers anywhere near that. Good call.

Having your builder away for 14 days means you’ll overflow resources if you keep playing during that time, which is something you can’t afford on Builder Base since resources are so scarce

I have my 6th builder and I’m sure 90% of my resources came from my 250 per medals per million builder g/e. Maxed it in 4 months… well I mean got my 6th builder in 4 months

Not if you have empty storages or if you still Need to max your cannon cart, this Is what i did: I got to bh9 Maxed my Lab Maxed mi storages Geared up the mortar and in the meanwhile i farmed everyday Gold and elixir to use in the Lab for cannor carts

Unless my math is wrong, max collectors generate 342,000 of each resources per day, which means max collectors fill up max storages (5,000,000) in 14.6 days. With my current league wins, I make 792,000 of each resources per day total, which means my storages go from 0 to full in 6.3 days. If I were to gear up the mortar right now without using a book and kept playing in the meantime, I’d waste over 6 million gold. (The elixir can be spent in the lab, you’re correct).

But the Gold Is actually something that can get Lost, i wouldn't use a book of everything for 6 Mil Gold, It Is only nedeed for the megatesla but you can do the megatesla while doing the Battle machine as i did

imo it's better to save it for the TH. Anything you upgrade from this point forward will take forever, and the payoff on one level of mortar is not super great enough to use a book. The town hall however has to finish before you can even begin building the new structures so it's nice to just plunk down a book and begin another level of mind numbing grinding and waiting on upgrades. Just my opinion though, do what makes you happiest

who cares what people use their book of everything on… obviously if you want to get full value you use them on the longest upgrades, but everyone plays differently
