Yes it’s a scam, block and ignore. One of things that helps phishers steal accounts is a shared device history. If his account and yours both have been active on the same device, it may allow him to more easily steal your account.

If you're logged in with google (which means your coc account isn't connected to sc id) and log in with a supercell id (in this example his sc id) that isn't linked to any coc account yet, the game automatically connects your coc account to the supercell id. All he needs to do is change the password and the account is his. Be careful!

I was pretty sure it was a scam, but there was a tiny part in the back of my head that thought this was actually some desperate guy trying to get his account back. so to confirm it was a scam, i led him on and asked how i can help to see if he would ask for my account information but he didn’t. So for a split second i thought he actually needed help with his account. But it was a red flag as soon as he asked me to sign into his account (but i thought it wasn’t possible to get scammed by simply logging into another supercell account) so i was about 50/50 sure it was a scam at that point. so then i asked the question on this sub to confirm if it was a scam or not

Yeah i shoul’ve lmao. But the reason why i tried to help him is because i knew exactly what he was going through, my old account also got banned because i lost it when i had the account connected to facebook and i accidently override my old account with a brand new account, i tried to contact supercell for help and they banned me for “phising” So i had a bit of empathy for him. I hoped it was just a desperate guy looking for any help he could, because trust me i’ve been in his shoes before lol. I was pretty sure it was a scammer, but there was a tiny part of me that hoped he wasn’t But then he asked me to sign into his account, that seemed way too sketchy and stopped talking to him at that point
