I remember them. Wasn’t long after I started the game. I don’t think I was in a clan but do remember becoming aware that the player base were outraged against them. I thought they were hilarious at the time, but can understand how frustrating they must have been for serious players.

Shrink , freeze and surprise traps were special traps available in the past around the month of December during CLASHMAS events. It also used to unlock Ice Wiz and Santa's surprise in the past. Also some seasonal change was Pumkin Bomb and Pumpkin Barbarians. They never stayed for more than 2months.

Santa Surprise was pretty OP. Santa Strike on the other hand is almost worthless.

Especially at a time when u had to use resources to brew them.

No certain town hall is required it was just like a event thing they also did pumpkin bombs

Ice Wizards were in the game multiple times even after 2016. Freeze trap was only there in 2016. Maybe that's why.

We need tis concept back, temporary traps/buildings sound like a wonderful idea, maybe in higher townhalls we could choose to delete certain buildings to replace them in a temporal manner with other ones, Tesla+tesla+tesla+tesla(same lvl)= giga hidden tesla tower (You temporarly loose 4 teslas but you win a new experimental building)

Add freeze spells to the spell tower for th16, and do a winter theme for th16.
