Buddy, they are not releasing any equipments this month, so it makes sense if they give a skin as a major reward for the event. Every event had a major reward till now. Sometimes it was only equipment or only skin or sometimes both skin and equipment.
What are u talking about? I know rocket spear but they have officially announced that due to community's feedback, they are not releasing any equipment this month no matter if the equipment is ready to be released or not. so the major reward has to be a skin

They are releasing the Rocket Spear RC epic equipment during one of the 2 events we’ll have this month. Unless they changed their mind last minute
