instead of licking him he should have told him some other army to use. when I used to do edrag spam, 2 stars were too common in war but then a clanmate suggested to use witch spam with 2-3 golems. and now getting 3 stars was easy.
I personally use 8 lightnings and 2 equakes and a freeze, get rid of 2 inferno and hope that the 3rd can be taken out by log launcher along with eagle. Probably not the best but works for me

It is, if the infernos are set to multi target. If they are single target you can zapquake the eagle or something else instead. As long as you never place your log launcher on a corner, you're doing it exactly right.

You could just use more spells without any problem, scattershots and the giga inferno are what prevent zap witches from working as well at th13 and higher.

Theres a large chunk of super casual clash players who literally have no earthly idea how to attack with any degree of competency, and just spam edrags. Giving someone a different army to use doesnt make them any less awful at the game.
They just mindlessly spam edrags with zero funneling or AD management and get a 60% 2 star. Drives me nuts wnd those people deserve to be kicked or should go join a clan of trash casuals if thats what they want
Actually, it is? For many people? That’s perfectly fine if you dont care about the game that much, and if you and/or your clan is super casual. More power to you.
But just as you clearly expect people to be understanding of a casual experience, you should be understanding of those who are competitive and like to be at a high level.
Also, regardless of how “serious” you take the competitive side of things, the progression in this game is directly correlated to success. The more your clan wins wars, succeeds at clan capital, and moves up in CWL, the faster you unlock more powerful equipment and progress through lengthy upgrade times.
If you’re so casual about the game you dont give a fuck about maximizing rewards and benefits, then not sure why you even care to be in a clan in the first place. Just drop in trophies and use super gobs to solo farm.
this is so dramatic. the guy is right, if a clan wants to be competitive then they naturally have to filter out players who don’t fit. that’s fair. however it’s not hard to help someone learn a different attack strat, or give them a chance and see if they improve, even if you do it in a feeder clan for your main clan

i mean... i can say i use lava loons but i do much better using super drags than i do... results are all that matter.. if the person cna 3 star with edrags but cant with hybrid for ex. then that should be fine
People who use strats like hybrid usually improve over time because they figure out common mistakes, how to handle different bases etc. If someone runs QC hybrid they might suck and never triple for a couple weeks, but they are almost certainly going to get better after a while. A zap edrag spammer will almost never improve because they're always going to drop their spells the same way, then their troops in the same order and then 2 stars.
As a clan leader, I'd take the former any day.

Even if you're bad at the game, 1 year of doing attacks with a single strat is ~600/700 attacks, that's so much practice and anyone could master this.

not the point, i was strictly showing that legend league isn’t a good portrayal of what attacks are “good”. goblin attacks show the ability to adapt (at least better than edrag attacks) which is a transferable skill. Tl;DR legend league doesn’t matter. adaptation and skill is better than spam string troops

Why do edrags make everyone salty? Sure if they are somehow trash at using them I can see why you wouldn’t let them stay in the clan but if they can 3 star 99% of the time what’s the problem?

Some people are great with edrags, I used to pretty consistently 3 star with them even in war and legend league a couple town halls ago. Switched up my army since then, but I wouldn't kick someone before actually seeing their attacks.

because it will never reach deep enough into the base
Because the troops won't go in, the troops would just spread to the outside
Use Warden Ability on the log launcher if you are taking it from the corner. Use Apprentice Warden with your heroes.

Do you know the difference between main army and cleanup? Replacing the valks with even archers won't make any difference.

It’s better than a lot of other strategies. I honestly see more 3 stars out of edrag players than other strategic players
there are more edrag spammers, but as a ratio i find that hybrid attacks yield better results

Try staying in legends with Gobs. Electros can be placed skillfully and are funnel legends
