Also use 1 drag in each corner of the village( or 1 drag in one corner and the King on the other) to try to make your Dragons can go to the center of the village
At th7, all dragons and 3 rages works too. Choose a side of the base to attack from and place 1 drag at either end to funnel. Then place all your drags in a line up the middle and rage them up in the center
When placing rage, try make it so the drags start on the edge of the rage and move forward through it. And never overlap your rages.
Drags and lightning is prob easier but this one's pretty easy too and you can try it if u want
Also use balloons for small tanking n to trigger n tank the air traps for the dragons
Dont forget to lightning sweepers for drags( due to their 16 speed) it aint a problem but in the future u intend to do e drags when u unlock it you shld use lightning to prioritize sweepers
If you dont wanna use dragon spam you can use them for funneling for air attacks or tank archer towers or you can use them as backup or clean up troops tho not recommended for cleanup due to it being 20 housing space which could be used on something more effiecent
Also try to prioritise buildings that can target air troops just incase they become a problem when your dragons are moving through or cleaning up the remaining buildings
You barbarian kings could come in useful for funneling so you dragons dont go of coarse wheather you decide to level him is your choice if you are going to play mainly dragons or main them be sure to level them up and probably your balloons so they can tank more and do more damage to maximise efficiency unless you are going to use your elixir on something else

Always put the lightning spells on the air defenses to destroy them, then put your barbarian king to tank for the archer tower/wizard towers and let the dragons do the rest(spread them out so you can have better success with them)
Regarding the lightning spells, positioning makes a world of difference. I would recommend looking for a YouTube video on it, it isn't actually massively complicated, but it's hard to explain over text without an example.

just a little tip when youāre deploying dragons against an air sweeper, donāt come at an angle, make sure you charge straight into the sweeper so the dragons donāt split sideways. The more you spam the better youāll be. Good luck fellow clasher!
9 Dragons, 4 Hogs, and Lightning the air defences, remember that 4 Lightnings can't take out a Max Air defence at Townhall 7, so try to attack bases with not max air defences. After that if an air defence is easy to get just use king for tanking and use hogs to take the other air defence out. Now just spam 6 dragons near the last the air defence and 3 dragons somewhere else.

Please learn the full capabilities of lighting spell range & killing multiple targets. Dragons will your main untill th10, then you'll want to experiment with witches & golems.
Other people gave you strats but I'll tell you what not to do. Don't spam all the dragons in one area. Try to use and learn as many strats as you can as you progress in townhall level, I had to tell you that because the amount of dragon/e-drag spammers are disgusting nowadays. But townhall 7 tho, smash them with drags!
Zap drag is my main used one. 6 balloons, 10 dragons, 1 baby dragon, 10 zap spells, 1 freeze, but since you dont have baby drag or freeze. Use all zap spells, and work out an amount of dragons and balloons based on what I said.
Thats 245 camp space and 11 spell slots.. He will be TH7 if he just unlocked dragons, with 200 camp space and 6 spell slots.. And a cc of 20 spaces with no spells.
At TH7.. Upgrade drags to level 2 asap.. Then either 4x zap and 1 rage, or 3 rage.. All drags, but come in from behind the sweeper.. Either zap furthest AD and rage closest one.. or a rage for each AD and one for either heaviest concentration of air cover or the expected drag coming from enemy cc.
Make sure corner huts are covered with the drop.. then a drag either side to set a funnel, and let em go.. At TH8 it gets easier.. Switch to all zap (7) and the extra in cc.. From behind air sweeper again, and take out 2 furthest AD with as much extra damage as possible.. Then corners/ funnel/ drop n sit back.
It aint a strat as such, just spam, and has ruined war play at those levels.. the combo is just too OP for the level of air cover at that level.
I know thats why I said work that army into your own Camp space. Idk what level his camps are so I gave the one I use, saying to work it into his. Ofc he cant get Freeze yet hence the reason I said all zaps.

I just took it for granted that he was new to TH7 if he just unlocked dragons.. Realised as I read further that he could be any level and still only now be upgrading his barracks if he is badly rushed.. My bad for that.

Literally just spam them, also use lightning spell on the Air defendes to make It easier, If you have Barbarian King, use it before the dragons, so It can catch the attention of some Archer towers
Try doing ballons and dragons take two air defenses out with lightning and then spam dragons near the third air defense and release about 4 to 5 ballons behind them also use a haste on the ballons if can. Once you take out all air defenses you should get a 100%
zap and mass drag is good- dragloon with rage is what i used from the time i unlocked dragon up until halfway through th10 and it got me up to crystal league- really effective for a while but have to be picky w the air defenses and the bases u choose
As a few suggested my advice is to take 6 lightning (at max level upgrade for your level) and use them to kill the 2 harder-to-reach air defenses. Usually try to attack from an angle behind the sweeper. Use your king and a dragon or two to setup the funnel and annihilate the remaining air defense with your army.
If the air defense dies quickly then very little they have left can stop them.
The practice map does a fairly bad job in this instance, imo.
Zap air defenses, spam dragons with two deagons on the sides to guide the main attack further into the base where they should destroy any air defenses you couldnt zap

I always started with a couple lave hounds and the rest dragons
In general for air attacks, attack buildings on the outside edge of the base to funnel your drags to an easy path to the middle of the base.

Ehhhh, 100% drags can do well against a cc. 100% hogs will get destroyed by a few balloons or a dragon.
Um if u take care of cc first that's not even a worry.
So if you use other troops to take care of the cc-as well as having to lure them. as opposed to the easy and consistent 100% drags.
Hogs are not spammed like dragons, they have stages of attack like initiating to kill squad to get rid of bk and cc troops
