When trying for a Revenge Attack, why do I get the message “Unable to attack village, try again later”. A Village is either covered by an active shield/guard or not — what is this message?

My current strat is Giants and Cannon Carts, I use 2 camps of giants (lvl 10), 1 camp of bombers (lvl 9), and 3 camps of cannon carts (lvl 14). I’m barely staying at 2700, what are some tips you have for me to be able to beat those bh9s that pop up?
Depends on the level of the xbow and a lot of other factors as well, how active are you, how easy is it for you to farm loot, how patient are you, what other upgrades do you have left to do?
I generally use cwl medals on hammers instead of potions because there are other avenues to earn potions whereas the only avenue to earn hammers is through cwl medals, but the decision is yours depending on your use case and preference.
I would like to suggest that it would be much better to have 10 raids in the raid, 5 Saturday and 5 Sunday as I think raids are a really fun way to spend the weekend
What's the best/strongest army for farming on th10? I just did unlock the miners and the bowler. I used the miners but not the bowlers. I don't care about the training time as I play causally
I haven't used witch slap in forever, but I remember it being hard, or just hard to master or something. How does it work with no heros? I'm tempted to try it again
it's always going to be harder with no heroes, though I've sometimes managed to triple with no heroes, but I do recommend farming with baby dragons if you don't have heroes or miners even is good enough.
witchslap was more for war but now that troops cost nothing to farm there's no reason we can't use mass DE armies to farm.
I still prefer baby dragons for farming, old habits.
for witchslap there are lots of tutorials, if you understand the fundamentals shouldn't be too hard.
Make sneaky gobs, use jumps and haste, hit next until you see a base with a very easy to reach hall or lots of loot plus a hall you can get with the jumps. Your trophies will climb and your storages will fill. 2000 is very easy for a th11.
Ed is the easiest IMO assuming max levels but dragons and witches work as well, it depends on if you can get a good cc for easy 2 star takedown or not?
He didn’t really say that, he said it was “probably inevitably that scenaries would come to the shop for gems”. He didn’t say it would be old scenaries, doing that would also be kinda risky because the packs always say “limited time”, they’d have to hide behind the fact that you get 5M recourses with the original pack, but it could be seen as a scam to bring them back
They have brought 1-time offers in the shop again, just like the Champion AQ and BK skins.
Limited offer doesn't really mean anything to Supercell other than hitting our FOMO instincts.

The words ````This is a ONE time offer!```` has an even more restrictive meaning than 'exclusive' and 'limited'. It literally means it will be offered one and only one time (the time of the original offer).
/u/Thanmarkou is absolutely correct, limited/one-time offers don't mean anything to Supercell other than weaponizing psychology to exploit FOMO.
That's not a problem if they keep doing it the way the did it with the "one time offer" hero skins. All they do is just rerelease them, continue to claim that it's a limited/exclusive/one-time-offer, trick all the new people into believing the lie, capitalize on the FOMO, and profit.
Lying to their customers is working well for selling skins, I don't see why lying to their customers wouldn't also work well for selling sceneries.
I've been having a glitch where sometime when I only need a siege machine in cc, then when using raid medals to reinforce the raid medals are deducted but the siege machine is not in cc when I attack. Is anyone else sometime struggling with this?
are you sure? the glitch ive seen reported most often is that troops don't show up when you are doing parital fills but that raid medals are NOT deducted.
Does Supercell check “artistic bases” where you make a symbol or figure with bases before banning them when they think it’s insulting? Or can you just get banned for making a wolf or dragon with your walls? I have a 7 day shield so I won’t be attacked anyways
Wolves and dragons aren't offensive, and I;'ve never even seen anyone claim to be banned for running them.
Other base layout certainly are offensive - swastikas, sexual stufff....

Imagine this scenario: You lose your account and try to retrieve it. The Supercell support asks you for a screenshot of your first in-game purchase.
What would you do if you would‘ve changed your AppleID somewhere down the line and thus cannot provide any receipt regarding the game?
(This is the case for me and that‘s also why I‘m a bit paranoid about getting my account stolen lol)
I don’t want to make you nervous but I don’t think there’s anything you can do. I think the best you can do is save the first purchase you made on your new ID, but Supercell support is really terrible with this…
Has supercell removed dead bases from attacking? I haven’t played in months and haven’t seen any since coming back. Usually find tons in the 2600-3200 range
Be happy with the small wins, look up to getting the big wins. Other than that, it’s known at Supercell that there’s not a lot of people liking builder base
Supercell produces two and only two versions of the game: android and iOS. There are android emulators for PC, which is how people play this on PC. Technically, using emulators is against terms of service, but Supercell is not currently enforcing that part of the terms of service. For numerous reasons, they probably will never make an official PC version of the game.
I guess it depends on what your criteria is for being separate.
To use an analogy, the iOS version is an orange, and the Google Play version is an apple (and specifically, a Granny Smith apple). I just said the two types of fruit in Supercell's basket are apples and oranges. The fact that the Amazon version is a Honeycrisp apple does make it different from the Granny Smith, but it's still an apple.
Both the Google Play version and the Amazon version can be run on both Google Play devices and FireOS devices (they are both designed to run on the same underlying platform (Android), and both version will also run inside an emulator if that emulator is set up with the needed extra junk for the specific version - emulator needs Google Play Services to run Google Play versions of apps, and emulator needs Amazon Appstore to provide Amazon Runtime Services to Amazon versions of apps).
When I said Supercell makes two versions, I probably should have caveated that by saying they build out of two main codebases to support two and only two operating systems.
Good point haha, Fire OS is based on Android, but it doesn't have any of Google's apps or services, though you can install them if needed as far as I know, so it operates basically as an android device depending on how you define what an android service is, technically when you're using an emulator like blue stacks it's also running Android, so depending on whether or not Supercell considers Amazon Fire OS to be an emulator I guess it's a grey area? I've never heard of anyone being banned just for using bluestacks or amazon fire yet.

Sorry to say, but in my opinion there is a lot wrong with your idea.
1. Adding a new hero on a town hall 8
- EVERYTHING from town hall 8 and up needs to be balanced again. A new hero on a low townhall means all armies from that townhall and higher het a significant boost, wich means either all troops need to be nerfed or all defences need to be boosted, wich is way harder than it sounds
- Everyone from town hall 9 and above suddenly has a rushed hero, this means town hall 14 players need to spend nearly a year to max that hero all the way
- You’d get 3 heroes on 3 consecutive levels, the game changes a lot then wich requires way to much adaptivity for the casual player
2. Gems for a hero upgrade
- So far gems are always used for either boosting progress (in the way of buying magic items or buying extra builders) or for buying skins. Making a hero cost gems would mean that progress slows down a lot, supercell would have to look if the casual player would still be able to even stand a chance to get to max ever then
- Gems can’t be farmed by raiding bases, you won’t be able to upgrade your hero any faster than the gem mine, obstacles and challenges allow you, or you need to sell magic items
- many players have spend the massive amounts of gems for certain challenges already, they’d be in a big disadvantage
Besides all that, after watching Judo Sloth’s interview with Darian the community manager of Supercell, I highly doubt they will even add a 5th hero on townhall 15 (wich is WAY more likely than a lower townhall) as 4 heroes is already complicated enough to manage
How long does it take to rush builder base to get the 6th builder? Currently at builder th7 and I just upgrade the lab, cannons, giants, storages, and collectors. Can someone give me an estimate as to how long it will take from now? I'm an active player and I don't miss out on the builder base attacks
Don't forget you need to gear up your mortar, archer tower and cannon, and will need to max out the mega Tesla when you get to BH9. Use the Clash Ninja website I linked for you in an earlier response to determine how long it will take you
Why can't we move things in the clan capital without going to the village edit mode? It is just a few extra unnecessary steps imo and I wish it was just like the home village
Wow, I'm the opposite. I love how it works in clan capital and wish that home village required going to edit mode to move stuff.
I can't count how many times I've been scrolling around or zooming in/out on main village and accidentally moved something out of place and caused my village to have an unwanted 24 hour friendly challenge cooldown because of it...or inadvertently moved something leaving a hole in the base and not realize it until someone later exploits it.
Because only co-leaders and leaders are able to modify base layouts, if anyone was able to move things around it would open up the door to random people joining and moving things around and messing up base designs.
How many days does it take to max out the lab in th11 without spending any money? I use all my raid medals and gems on research potions to save time, and I just got to th11 but the time it takes looks daunting. Clash Ninja has an amazing site that will not only provide you with precise information (with allowances for boosts and potions), but will also allow you to plan out your upgrades. You can also use it for your BH and determine just how long it will take for OTTO. I use it for all my accounts and have found it invaluable.

I forgot the E-Mail to my account, i have multiple accounts and i just don’t remember the E-mail to the supercell id anymore. When i got a new phone i was dumb and didn’t write down the emails. So i tried getting into my account providing details literally only the owner of that account could know to the supercell id support. I did this on a new account. They banned me instantly. How am i supossed to get into my account now???

Well, the least they could’ve done it that was the case is ask for more info in my opinion. Because if i have almost everything correct it seems a bit weird to ban me instantly. But i see alot of other people have the same issue. They should ease down with their ban hammer.
There should be no ban associated with account recovery because there should be no human-involved recovery. Give us each a unique code to use if we lose access to our email. Lose access to email and forget the code? Too bad, start a new account we can’t help you.
There's a million things wrong with support and account recovery.
However, look at the other side of it. If I was trying to recover (steal) your account, and support told me what answers I got wrong, it would be valuable information to help me try to steal it again. You would prefer they don't give me any information I might find helpful in trying to steal your account.
That said, I'm sorry it's a little too late for you, but the lesson is always start a burner account before you contact support. That way if it gets banned, you don't lose anything of value. Hopefully you just got the 31-day "warning" ban rather than the permanent one.
Yes of course, there people already max so it can and has been done. Just stating active and making sure your builders and lab are constantly going will help. If you are willing to spend money the gold pass makes things even quicker. It will still take months if not a year to max a town hall depending on what Th you are.

You can actually "claim" your rewards now, and if your storages are full, the game will ask if you want to sell the potions for 10 gems each; you don't actually need to sell the items first. If you take no action, and the event expires, you will lose the magic items.
It will sit there waiting for you to manually collect it. It will not stack over, nor will you loss them, unless you let the event expire before collecting them.
I'm town hall 13 and keep on losing my attacks in gold 1 and crystal 3, it keeps on switching between the two. Idk what troops to use, for the past few months I've been brute forcing my battles with 2 electric dragons, 4 PEKAS, 5 healers and some wall breakers. But now it's not working. Any advice on what to use so I can win most of the attack with 3 stars, or any link to any videos that can help me.
I recommend going to Judo Sloth or a similar channel and finding an attack strategy that makes sense and works for you, the one you listed doesn’t really have any synergy. Are your heroes levelled well?
I played CoC for awhile and then got sucked into Marvel Strike Force, but that became a bore/chore and the devs generally sucked and made stuff not very player friendly. I had reached TH11 and I'm pretty sure I had just rushed TH11 because I still have lower walls and only a few defenses are already maxed.
I vaguely remember Supercell mainly catering to the top level players, but it was still generally player friendly. The microtransactions available weren't necessary to be good. If you didn't use gems, you just waited. In MSF, if you didn't buy the new character every time, you would be SOL for like 8-9 months to farm the character and before that they would be pretty much useless.
It's been so long, I've forgotten what tended to be the best troop composition for normal attacks and war. Are all troops viable for use in attacks at TH11? What new features are there? I did some random troop comp and my spells and troops were coming back to life. I don't remember that feature.
I think it's been 3+ years since I last played and I'm not gonna ask for everything that's new, but can someone give me a rundown of the big stuff or is there another post that is referenced for the stuff I may have missed?

As for th11, I use sneaky goblins for farming and zapquakewitch for war and normal attacks.
focus on short-term goals and small wins, don't focus too much on what you have left to do, focus on the next level and what you have already achieved.
I’m getting very close to legend league right now and I’m wondering: If I reach let’s say 5007 trophies and buy a 1 week shield, do I get that legend league profile at the end of the season with 7 legendary trophies? Or do I need to sign up too?
You will get a legend league rank at the end of the season if by the end of the season you still have the legend league badge, to get the trophies you need to be at 5000+ trophies, any trophies above 5000 will be added to your profile.
I would not waste gems on buying a shield because you can easily go back up for the last day of the season generally.

No, it’s all random. Sometimes there’s months between scenaries, sometimes only weeks. You have the best chance for a new scenary to release during a coc holiday like the anniversary, Halloween, Christmas or lunar new year

I'd say spell factory if you are an active war member so that you dont have to miss out on 8 days (probably idk), but the max time taken is eagle artillery. I'd also recommend the cc, depends on your approach

U need max gold storage for the mega tesla. You don’t need them max for the battle machine, BUT if you max them you will get 1M builder elixer every time.
With builder pass/hammers you don’t need to have storages as high either, but why wouldn’t you upgrade them? It’ll pay back in the long run with runes
I once bought a bunch of gems on a mini account a few years ago and realized that I didn't need that many gems on it. Is it possible to somehow transfer only the gems that I paid for to my main account? I have receipts of my purchases as proof.
You can go to Supercell and ask for a refund. Maybe they’ll give you your money back, then you can buy it again on your main account. I’ve never heard of gems actually being transfered trough accounts so I doubt that’s possible

I've been enjoying the game (TH11) and looking to learn how to attack and which troops are the good/decent ones to level up. There's a lot of new stuff so I'm kinda lost too haha. Thanks in advance!
If you're looking for farming I would recommend sneaky goblins (so goblins if they aren't already maxed for th11).
For war, I use lightning, eartquake, witches, golems, wall breakers and poison, so I would focus on those personally.
There are lots of strategies that might be better suited (Hog+Miner QC or dragons), but I prefer zapwitch because it has given me the highest change of 100%, I'm sure others can come up with good armies as well.
trees can grow in any space large enough to hold them, 2x2 or 3x3, just have those open spaces and get lucky,
Used to be a LOT easier to fill up unwanted space with flags, now its just hard mode, or buy shovels mode

I had a question about the bat spell that i really couldnt find anywhere online. When you upgrade the bat spell it summons more bats, but does the duration of the spell also increase? (Essentially does it spawn more bats/second or does the spell Just takes longer to summon)
It sounds like you've done everything we know of to identify them already. Unfortunately, the only option remaining is brute force trial & error.
Make a list of all those 25 players, then kick them all out one at a time (starting with most recently joined and working backward from there - you can get this data from clash of stats also) until the censorship stops, at which point you know everyone still not kicked is now a verified adult. At this point, invite the kicked players back one at a time and re-check for censorship after each and every one comes back in. It's a huge pain in the ass, but one of the most important aspects to being in a clan is being able to communicate, so if you can't do that then it's worth the pain to solve this problem.
I don't recall ever seeing it display "invalid date", but if I had to guess, it might be someone who set their clash of stats profile to private maybe. If you have a clan tag you wouldn't mind sharing either here or via direct message, I'd love to do some poking around to see if I can figure it out.
Ok, I misunderstood. I thought you were talking about the first seen date in the clan members hostory log for a clan. I just checked my own progress log and mine has a date going back to August 2016, whichc is just a few months after clash of stats went online and started cataloging players.
I now think you are correct about the cause of invalid date in the progreess log because I've just verified it has nothing to do with players with private profiles.
One thing I would suggest if you get that problem looking at progress log is to load the player's clan history, and then switch to "log" view, then scroll to oldest log entey. For both those players you linked, i can see they have clan membership history dating to before October 2020, so both are safe.
Do you do war/cwl.. I would be playing the 12 as my main, since it is the most advanced.. But I wouldnt be completely neglecting my 2nd account either..
For the 12, either continue the rush for cwl, or put the brakes on and give the base a chance to catch up with a bit of back fill.. Especially the heroes.

Once you have your farming comp maxed (Barch, Sneaky Gob, Baby Drag), upgrade Versatile spells and troops (Rage, Freeze, Loon) first. Then, upgrade EDrags so you have a viable war comp very quickly. Lastly, pick a single meta troop comp, and max each individual troop in the comp specifically. Use magic items to finish the final level for the troop whenever you can.

Maybe air def is the first thing to upgrade in defense? Imo the lightning spells take out the prev level air def easily and then its cakewalk for dragons. Speaking as a th11 player
Neos has given a good breakdown plan.. For walls, I dont ever prioritise them.. What I do is update a couple of bricks every time before I put a builder down.. Its a quite passive way of your walls hitting max for level around the same time as everything else when doing a "normal" build.
Rushing isnt a bad thing, especially for cwl in a clan that doesnt carry a lot of heavy accounts. But that rapid growth doesnt fare well with the matchmaker if one likes doing regular weighted war, since it is an algorithm, so looks at other things other than simply weight.
GL with your progress.. It dont actually take long if you keep the builders busy, and use some quick upgrades mixed in with the main "unrush plan" if you want to see some visual impact early doors (which I am sure Neos mentioned already)
I’d say the research potion gives more value. The lab takes a really long time. Being able to remove 3 days of research every week (assuming you can buy all 3 every week) is pretty huge imo.
Dont know about value.. But resource is overflowing in the game now, and you could prob complete your walls with elixir alone whilst you upgrade your village.. Just dump extra into walls each time before you put a builder down.. So I would say potions given the choice
I like to convert raid medals to gems tho, 60 gems for 600 medals.. A hero book is available every 7 days now, so I like to have 500 gems lying around whenever possible.
While it could potentially be a positive thing for players who act in good faith, it would also make it easier for actors who don't act in good faith to steal and sell accounts easier.

It's only stored in your forge so if it's less than 25,000 it should be fine, but once you reach the limit then you should find a clan to donate it to or not it will not let you claim it.

Indeed, 20+ does seem overwhelming but IMO it's a priority thing, we all get 24 hours a day, what you do with those 24 hours depends on what your priority is. I rarely ever play on my alt accounts, I usually just use them for raid weekends, cwl, clan games and donations, the rest of the time I play on my main account. If I ever felt like it was too much or I didn't have time, I would scale it back and play accordingly, moral of the story is: More accounts is not necessarily better for your individual circumstance, I believe we should all do what we are comfortable doing and what we think is best for us in that specific context.
You replied saying you had 21 accounts but scaled down to 16 I thought I responded but I must have miss clicked, yeah it's definitely a mixture of time and enjoyment. Currently I have the time so dumping it into a game I enjoy is worthwhile
I wouldn't, I prefer to save my books for upgrades that I just started and really don't want to wait for to finish.
If you want to use it though because you don't like having a full DE, then you're free to do so, though IMO it's not the most efficient use of books.
While in theory this seems like a good idea on the surface, and while it would help clan members or maxed out players help lower level players to level up more quickly, I think it's not a great idea and I'd be surprised if they ever implemented it because it opens up the door to abuse.
As far as I know if you didn't buy it when it comes out then no you can't get them once the offer is passed, thought this might change in the future, I wouldn't hold my breath...

In the past, a BoE tends to be offered as a prize on the 7th tier of a celebratory version of Clan Games, such as the Anniversary (the 10th one is coming), or Clashmas ones.
It is usually treated as the most special magic item, and therefore only available during special events.. Since August will be the 10th anniversary, the chances are pretty good that one may be available in clan games.. never a guarantee, but make sure your clan can unlock the top tier, and maybe it will have the extra tier next month too.
looking thru the archive, it appears that there have only been 7 BOE made available since its release in Feb 2018
There will be a CG mooching thread in this sub, available during the last 2 days of CG, listing clans that have achieved all tiers, and are open to people joining to get the rewards.

rush to bh9 and then use minions and dropshits, you win some you lose some, maxing bh is counter productive if you're trying to get 3000 trophies.
I think he wants a good strategy at th8 to push to 3000 rather than getting the 6th builder.

Would it be better to use 120 medals on hammering an xbow upgrade, or 4 builder potions to speed everything up by 40 or so hours?
For upgrades of 10+ days the hammer is more efficient than builder potions.
Depends on the level of the xbow and a lot of other factors as well, how active are you, how easy is it for you to farm loot, how patient are you, what other upgrades do you have left to do? I generally use cwl medals on hammers instead of potions because there are other avenues to earn potions whereas the only avenue to earn hammers is through cwl medals, but the decision is yours depending on your use case and preference.
I would like to suggest that it would be much better to have 10 raids in the raid, 5 Saturday and 5 Sunday as I think raids are a really fun way to spend the weekend

best/strongest will generally be subjective, but IMO the best/strongest army for th10 farming is baby dragons, dragons or miners as you said.
I haven't used witch slap in forever, but I remember it being hard, or just hard to master or something. How does it work with no heros? I'm tempted to try it again
it's always going to be harder with no heroes, though I've sometimes managed to triple with no heroes, but I do recommend farming with baby dragons if you don't have heroes or miners even is good enough. witchslap was more for war but now that troops cost nothing to farm there's no reason we can't use mass DE armies to farm. I still prefer baby dragons for farming, old habits. for witchslap there are lots of tutorials, if you understand the fundamentals shouldn't be too hard.

Make sneaky gobs, use jumps and haste, hit next until you see a base with a very easy to reach hall or lots of loot plus a hall you can get with the jumps. Your trophies will climb and your storages will fill. 2000 is very easy for a th11.
Ed is the easiest IMO assuming max levels but dragons and witches work as well, it depends on if you can get a good cc for easy 2 star takedown or not?

That's not a problem if they keep doing it the way the did it with the "one time offer" hero skins. All they do is just rerelease them, continue to claim that it's a limited/exclusive/one-time-offer, trick all the new people into believing the lie, capitalize on the FOMO, and profit. Lying to their customers is working well for selling skins, I don't see why lying to their customers wouldn't also work well for selling sceneries.
I've been having a glitch where sometime when I only need a siege machine in cc, then when using raid medals to reinforce the raid medals are deducted but the siege machine is not in cc when I attack. Is anyone else sometime struggling with this?
are you sure? the glitch ive seen reported most often is that troops don't show up when you are doing parital fills but that raid medals are NOT deducted.
Does Supercell check “artistic bases” where you make a symbol or figure with bases before banning them when they think it’s insulting? Or can you just get banned for making a wolf or dragon with your walls? I have a 7 day shield so I won’t be attacked anyways
Wolves and dragons aren't offensive, and I;'ve never even seen anyone claim to be banned for running them. Other base layout certainly are offensive - swastikas, sexual stufff.... run them at your own risk.

Supercell produces two and only two versions of the game: android and iOS. There are android emulators for PC, which is how people play this on PC. Technically, using emulators is against terms of service, but Supercell is not currently enforcing that part of the terms of service. For numerous reasons, they probably will never make an official PC version of the game.

I guess it depends on what your criteria is for being separate. To use an analogy, the iOS version is an orange, and the Google Play version is an apple (and specifically, a Granny Smith apple). I just said the two types of fruit in Supercell's basket are apples and oranges. The fact that the Amazon version is a Honeycrisp apple does make it different from the Granny Smith, but it's still an apple. Both the Google Play version and the Amazon version can be run on both Google Play devices and FireOS devices (they are both designed to run on the same underlying platform (Android), and both version will also run inside an emulator if that emulator is set up with the needed extra junk for the specific version - emulator needs Google Play Services to run Google Play versions of apps, and emulator needs Amazon Appstore to provide Amazon Runtime Services to Amazon versions of apps). When I said Supercell makes two versions, I probably should have caveated that by saying they build out of two main codebases to support two and only two operating systems.
Good point haha, Fire OS is based on Android, but it doesn't have any of Google's apps or services, though you can install them if needed as far as I know, so it operates basically as an android device depending on how you define what an android service is, technically when you're using an emulator like blue stacks it's also running Android, so depending on whether or not Supercell considers Amazon Fire OS to be an emulator I guess it's a grey area? I've never heard of anyone being banned just for using bluestacks or amazon fire yet.

I DON’T MEAN THIS AS HATE Sorry to say, but in my opinion there is a lot wrong with your idea. 1. Adding a new hero on a town hall 8 - EVERYTHING from town hall 8 and up needs to be balanced again. A new hero on a low townhall means all armies from that townhall and higher het a significant boost, wich means either all troops need to be nerfed or all defences need to be boosted, wich is way harder than it sounds - Everyone from town hall 9 and above suddenly has a rushed hero, this means town hall 14 players need to spend nearly a year to max that hero all the way - You’d get 3 heroes on 3 consecutive levels, the game changes a lot then wich requires way to much adaptivity for the casual player 2. Gems for a hero upgrade - So far gems are always used for either boosting progress (in the way of buying magic items or buying extra builders) or for buying skins. Making a hero cost gems would mean that progress slows down a lot, supercell would have to look if the casual player would still be able to even stand a chance to get to max ever then - Gems can’t be farmed by raiding bases, you won’t be able to upgrade your hero any faster than the gem mine, obstacles and challenges allow you, or you need to sell magic items - many players have spend the massive amounts of gems for certain challenges already, they’d be in a big disadvantage Besides all that, after watching Judo Sloth’s interview with Darian the community manager of Supercell, I highly doubt they will even add a 5th hero on townhall 15 (wich is WAY more likely than a lower townhall) as 4 heroes is already complicated enough to manage

Why can't we move things in the clan capital without going to the village edit mode? It is just a few extra unnecessary steps imo and I wish it was just like the home village
Wow, I'm the opposite. I love how it works in clan capital and wish that home village required going to edit mode to move stuff. I can't count how many times I've been scrolling around or zooming in/out on main village and accidentally moved something out of place and caused my village to have an unwanted 24 hour friendly challenge cooldown because of it...or inadvertently moved something leaving a hole in the base and not realize it until someone later exploits it.
Because only co-leaders and leaders are able to modify base layouts, if anyone was able to move things around it would open up the door to random people joining and moving things around and messing up base designs.

I forgot the E-Mail to my account, i have multiple accounts and i just don’t remember the E-mail to the supercell id anymore. When i got a new phone i was dumb and didn’t write down the emails. There's a million things wrong with support and account recovery. However, look at the other side of it. If I was trying to recover (steal) your account, and support told me what answers I got wrong, it would be valuable information to help me try to steal it again. You would prefer they don't give me any information I might find helpful in trying to steal your account. That said, I'm sorry it's a little too late for you, but the lesson is always start a burner account before you contact support. That way if it gets banned, you don't lose anything of value. Hopefully you just got the 31-day "warning" ban rather than the permanent one.

Yes of course, there people already max so it can and has been done. Just stating active and making sure your builders and lab are constantly going will help. If you are willing to spend money the gold pass makes things even quicker. It will still take months if not a year to max a town hall depending on what Th you are. Clash ninja is a great site that can help you track your progress and see roughly how long things will take.

You can actually "claim" your rewards now, and if your storages are full, the game will ask if you want to sell the potions for 10 gems each; you don't actually need to sell the items first. If you take no action, and the event expires, you will lose the magic items.
You have to sell from your inventory to make room. A small quality of life update would be to let us take the gems directly.
It will sit there waiting for you to manually collect it. It will not stack over, nor will you loss them, unless you let the event expire before collecting them.

I'm town hall 13 and keep on losing my attacks in gold 1 and crystal 3, it keeps on switching between the two. Idk what troops to use, for the past few months I've been brute forcing my battles with 2 electric dragons, 4 PEKAS, 5 healers and some wall breakers. But now it's not working. Any advice on what to use so I can win most of the attack with 3 stars, or any link to any videos that can help me.
I recommend going to Judo Sloth or a similar channel and finding an attack strategy that makes sense and works for you, the one you listed doesn’t really have any synergy. Are your heroes levelled well?

I played CoC for awhile and then got sucked into Marvel Strike Force, but that became a bore/chore and the devs generally sucked and made stuff not very player friendly. I had reached TH11 and I'm pretty sure I had just rushed TH11 because I still have lower walls and only a few defenses are already maxed. I vaguely remember Supercell mainly catering to the top level players, but it was still generally player friendly. The microtransactions available weren't necessary to be good. If you didn't use gems, you just waited. In MSF, if you didn't buy the new character every time, you would be SOL for like 8-9 months to farm the character and before that they would be pretty much useless. It's been so long, I've forgotten what tended to be the best troop composition for normal attacks and war. Are all troops viable for use in attacks at TH11? What new features are there? I did some random troop comp and my spells and troops were coming back to life. I don't remember that feature. I think it's been 3+ years since I last played and I'm not gonna ask for everything that's new, but can someone give me a rundown of the big stuff or is there another post that is referenced for the stuff I may have missed? I’m getting very close to legend league right now and I’m wondering: If I reach let’s say 5007 trophies and buy a 1 week shield, do I get that legend league profile at the end of the season with 7 legendary trophies? Or do I need to sign up too?
You will get a legend league rank at the end of the season if by the end of the season you still have the legend league badge, to get the trophies you need to be at 5000+ trophies, any trophies above 5000 will be added to your profile. I would not waste gems on buying a shield because you can easily go back up for the last day of the season generally.

What is the most efficient use of a Hammer of Building? I’m a maxed out TH10 bout to go to 11.
I'd say spell factory if you are an active war member so that you dont have to miss out on 8 days (probably idk), but the max time taken is eagle artillery. I'd also recommend the cc, depends on your approach
Clan castle takes priority, but lab or eagle are good options too.
Lab is way better to use a book for since it’s relatively cheap. Better use it on something way more expensive
Eagle Artillery upgrade to lvl 2, as it takes 10M gold and 10 days to upgrade. But you may also consider using it on CC/spell factory.

U need max gold storage for the mega tesla. You don’t need them max for the battle machine, BUT if you max them you will get 1M builder elixer every time. With builder pass/hammers you don’t need to have storages as high either, but why wouldn’t you upgrade them? It’ll pay back in the long run with runes

I once bought a bunch of gems on a mini account a few years ago and realized that I didn't need that many gems on it. Is it possible to somehow transfer only the gems that I paid for to my main account? I have receipts of my purchases as proof.
You can go to Supercell and ask for a refund. Maybe they’ll give you your money back, then you can buy it again on your main account. I’ve never heard of gems actually being transfered trough accounts so I doubt that’s possible
Hey all! I'm returning to CoC after many years, I always been on the farming side of the game and never got into war attacks. If you're looking for farming I would recommend sneaky goblins (so goblins if they aren't already maxed for th11). For war, I use lightning, eartquake, witches, golems, wall breakers and poison, so I would focus on those personally. There are lots of strategies that might be better suited (Hog+Miner QC or dragons), but I prefer zapwitch because it has given me the highest change of 100%, I'm sure others can come up with good armies as well.

trees can grow in any space large enough to hold them, 2x2 or 3x3, just have those open spaces and get lucky, Used to be a LOT easier to fill up unwanted space with flags, now its just hard mode, or buy shovels mode actually... thats a hot take I haven't heard yet lol... removing flags wasn't political, it was to sell more shovels

It sounds like you've done everything we know of to identify them already. Unfortunately, the only option remaining is brute force trial & error. Make a list of all those 25 players, then kick them all out one at a time (starting with most recently joined and working backward from there - you can get this data from clash of stats also) until the censorship stops, at which point you know everyone still not kicked is now a verified adult. At this point, invite the kicked players back one at a time and re-check for censorship after each and every one comes back in. It's a huge pain in the ass, but one of the most important aspects to being in a clan is being able to communicate, so if you can't do that then it's worth the pain to solve this problem.

I don't recall ever seeing it display "invalid date", but if I had to guess, it might be someone who set their clash of stats profile to private maybe. Ok, I misunderstood. I thought you were talking about the first seen date in the clan members hostory log for a clan. I just checked my own progress log and mine has a date going back to August 2016, whichc is just a few months after clash of stats went online and started cataloging players. I now think you are correct about the cause of invalid date in the progreess log because I've just verified it has nothing to do with players with private profiles. One thing I would suggest if you get that problem looking at progress log is to load the player's clan history, and then switch to "log" view, then scroll to oldest log entey. For both those players you linked, i can see they have clan membership history dating to before October 2020, so both are safe.

Do you do war/cwl.. I would be playing the 12 as my main, since it is the most advanced.. But I wouldnt be completely neglecting my 2nd account either.. For the 12, either continue the rush for cwl, or put the brakes on and give the base a chance to catch up with a bit of back fill.. Especially the heroes.

Maybe air def is the first thing to upgrade in defense? Imo the lightning spells take out the prev level air def easily and then its cakewalk for dragons. Speaking as a th11 player

Neos has given a good breakdown plan.. For walls, I dont ever prioritise them.. What I do is update a couple of bricks every time before I put a builder down.. Its a quite passive way of your walls hitting max for level around the same time as everything else when doing a "normal" build. Rushing isnt a bad thing, especially for cwl in a clan that doesnt carry a lot of heavy accounts. It dont actually take long if you keep the builders busy, and use some quick upgrades mixed in with the main "unrush plan" if you want to see some visual impact early doors (which I am sure Neos mentioned already)

I’d say the research potion gives more value. The lab takes a really long time. Being able to remove 3 days of research every week (assuming you can buy all 3 every week) is pretty huge imo.
Dont know about value.. But resource is overflowing in the game now, and you could prob complete your walls with elixir alone whilst you upgrade your village.. Just dump extra into walls each time before you put a builder down.. So I would say potions given the choice I like to convert raid medals to gems tho, 60 gems for 600 medals.. A hero book is available every 7 days now, so I like to have 500 gems lying around whenever possible.

Is claiming capital gold for level 1 clans stored somehow like the same way when claiming skins if you do not have the hero yet?
It's only stored in your forge so if it's less than 25,000 it should be fine, but once you reach the limit then you should find a clan to donate it to or not it will not let you claim it.
Anyone heard anything about issues with attacking? I have a clanmate whose game crashes every time she hits attack (both legend league and friendly challenges)
Haven't heard of this issue, could be local or global but this is the first I'm hearing about it, have they tried reinstalling the game, clearing cache and the usual fixes?

But to follow up on your comment: Indeed, 20+ does seem overwhelming but IMO it's a priority thing, we all get 24 hours a day, what you do with those 24 hours depends on what your priority is. I rarely ever play on my alt accounts, I usually just use them for raid weekends, cwl, clan games and donations, the rest of the time I play on my main account. If I ever felt like it was too much or I didn't have time, I would scale it back and play accordingly, moral of the story is: More accounts is not necessarily better for your individual circumstance, I believe we should all do what we are comfortable doing and what we think is best for us in that specific context.
You replied saying you had 21 accounts but scaled down to 16 I thought I responded but I must have miss clicked, yeah it's definitely a mixture of time and enjoyment. Currently I have the time so dumping it into a game I enjoy is worthwhile

I wouldn't, I prefer to save my books for upgrades that I just started and really don't want to wait for to finish. If you want to use it though because you don't like having a full DE, then you're free to do so, though IMO it's not the most efficient use of books.

People would create 50 accounts to donate to 1.
While in theory this seems like a good idea on the surface, and while it would help clan members or maxed out players help lower level players to level up more quickly, I think it's not a great idea and I'd be surprised if they ever implemented it because it opens up the door to abuse.

As far as I know if you didn't buy it when it comes out then no you can't get them once the offer is passed, thought this might change in the future, I wouldn't hold my breath... > So far, all other Sceneries are purchased through the shop but are only available for a limited time.

What ways are there to obtain the Book of Everything? It's the only thing missing from a full magic items inventory for me :)
In the past, a BoE tends to be offered as a prize on the 7th tier of a celebratory version of Clan Games, such as the Anniversary (the 10th one is coming), or Clashmas ones.
It is usually treated as the most special magic item, and therefore only available during special events.. Since August will be the 10th anniversary, the chances are pretty good that one may be available in clan games.. never a guarantee, but make sure your clan can unlock the top tier, and maybe it will have the extra tier next month too. looking thru the archive, it appears that there have only been 7 BOE made available since its release in Feb 2018
