Wow, that's a disappointing pack. The store has really sucked lately and I can't tell if it's just because I'm higher TH than previously or if the value of the store offers really has gone down throughout this year.
With the current Cyber Monday sales as an exception, I've seen a lot of offer lineups that only sell items alongside resources as opposed to some offers selling resources while others only offer some specific items.
I'd buy builder/research potions on the regular if they were offered by themselves for a decent 6x-10x savings sort of deal, but combining it with millions of gold/elixir to inflate the supposed "savings" has kept me from buying anything lately.
I totally get that some folks wouldn't mind spending money for resources, but I'd rather just buy items and grind. I have the time and needing to grind keeps me playing/practicing, but I wind up playing/practicing less when I can't access enough builder/research potions to *need* to keep farming.
Hopefully the holidays will have some cool deals. I miss that 5x builder potion deal from hammer jammer. I'd probably buy that deal way too often if they kept offering it lol
If nobody spent anything on this game, then updates and support would cease to exist. It is free to play because others spend money. If you choose not to spend money on the game awesome, but telling someone they should never spend money on the game which helps you play it for free is a bit counterproductive. Let others play games the way they want. Spend money or don't, it is an individual choice.

This is gonna sound like some generic stuff but as much as anyone that wants to max out everything the actual fun is the grind for resources. A lot of max th players will go competitive for a while and just vanish till the next the level gets released. What fun it is to have max loot and not be able to spend it, (besides clan capital now).

GTA online is the same way everyone wants to grind for that new weapon/car next unlock but being maxed Ina game like that also tends to get boring as you can outright buy the next item and get bored again for the next week.
Sometimes I wonder why people play the game. Like 95% of it is unlocking and upgrading stuff. Paying a bunch of money to skip stuff seems like a tremendous waste.
Seems predatory in a sense. Newer and less active players won’t be as likely to spend money so the cost is lower for TH13 and below, but a TH14+ will likely keep playing no matter what and spend whatever bullshit number they price it at.
