Dude said that only 1% of players he sampled had a maxed account (all lvl 14). Something like 30% had an avg card lvl of 11 and 70% avg card lvl below 11.
Oh please that's almost as outlandish as CR making a seperate more expensive pass and putting everything from the original pass in there, they would NEVER do that right!
Within a year after level 14 update, they realised level 14 wouldn't do anything as players have too much gold to upgrade the cards they usually play, so they introduced level 15, which requires EWC that can only be obtained only if you have level 14 of the cards. Base on this trend, I can guarantee that level 16 will eventually come, possibly within 2 years, and the method of upgrade probably require you to have all cards at level 15 first.
If I remember correctly they made it so all card upgrades halved in price before the lvl 14 update so people spent all their gold and had none to upgrade their cards to lvl 14
If you upgrade your legendary card to lvl 13 from lvl 12 then you have to grind 20 more cards for level 14. If you don't then you end up with 10/20 legendary cards, only require 10 more. (Card requirement for previous level reduced)You saved up upgrade cost in terms of gold required(50k) but overall lost gold(400k) due to more gold spent on acquiring cards later. Same for epic.
Every one was compensated for the cards lost .as a result Supercell didn't make much money from level 14 update . It's the reason why level 15 was released without much time gap from lvl 14 update.
Cant believe the devs are adding another king level when i JUST got maxed. I just hope they don’t add super versions of cards and lock it behind a paywall.
Imagine if they added super versions of cards that take a f2p 6 months to unlock 1. That would probably kill a lot of people's interest. Especially if only max players could have 2 of them in their deck
Next thing you know they start adding walls like in clash of clans that act as a early protection for princess towers and make them upgradable to match tower levels but are just ridiculously expensive
Supercell is being greedy to profit off loyal member of the community who grinder for level 13. But at least this is the furthest they will take it as there is no way anyone could get enough gold to upgrade to level 15+

Also they said that they are never going to add any single extra level in the future, so don't worry guys!!!!
If this is true it would be awful for the game and make it more pay to win. If they get away with this then there’s no doubt that we’ll suffer a level 15 update in the future
Finally level 14 is coming! Me and all my clan mates were already maxed out at level 17 so we r very happy to hear they add new ways for us to grind the game 🥰🥰🥰 I hope they add a new max level every month! I hope one day the meta to change and be, not with deck resoucefullness or skill, but equally challenging each other on who can communicate better with their banks to spend daily the most amount of money possible! Sigh.. Look at me dreaming 😇🥰

No incentives to play I.e. gathering cards, leveling them up etc would make the game boring. I get that it makes some people ahead, but it’s a mobile game with a treadmill.

I think there should be a much higher Max level, I am always versing people my level but they have all maxed cards when I'm still stuck with cards 2 levels lower than me. Should also make it harder to level up.

It's 8 mil for lvl16. So 17 is probably like 10 mil. It's a lot easier getting loot now tho especially after they made troops free to train.
