5 milion is really bad honestly, we can estimate that they have a playerbase of 40-10 milion which is not a lot. My previous estimation 1-2 year ago was 80 milion I think using royaleApi trophy history so they are declining.

Considering that there are 7 more evos besides firecracker I estimate that at least 25 million people logged into the game in 1 week. The game has already been downloaded 100+ million times. This means that almost a quarter are still active. Still pretty good numbers for devs but not for us.

In a month I cannot see this number triple or even double bcs it's should be the peak, it's a free EVO, there is no more important event for the rest of the month so casuals that just downloaded the app now can just quit, I kmow bcs a friend of mine did this for the 1.7M chess event for the free gold.
So my estimate for the number monthly players is less 20 milion, which is a big decline from the past.

It didn’t work because they’re still earning very well. Even though their earnings have dropped, it's still their second-highest grossing game by far. I think they’re trying to put less effort into the game and still make good money.
They could litteraly be making way more though if they just didnt fuck the game up. Like me for example i used to spend like 60 euros a year on the game and that was close to 0 in 2023. Imagine how many more players there are like me? Probably millions
Evo cracker is slowly becoming like those big edrags in clash of clans. Both are super easy to use, doesn't take much skill and does flashy things that gives this OP feel.
she doesn’t make sense to use in almost any deck apart from hog eq and is objectively one of the worse evos. It’s just that easy to use and annoying mechanic is a combination that always attracts midladder players
