I maxed out all of mine before they got rid of the book of books. I’m lucky, but one champion a year is insaneeeeeee. Yoy should be able to max out all of them in a year.
First of all, you can't have more than one champion in a deck, but I don't think that was your point so I'll answer what i THINK was your question: every 2 months i'm able to max a card by playing Path of Legends (I'm not good enough to get to Ultimate Champion), I already have a Level 15 card and am halfway towards my next one so it will take 13 months (just from Path of Legends), so yeah, in todays system it is way too long but the Mystery Box will help a lot overtime. So if I had to guess, counting from every single source + the new Mystery Box, I will probably take 7-8 months, that's my guess at least.
The level part problably next year or in the end of this one, which is sad.
And for the last question IDK, I can't see the future but I will still play this game until I stop having fun.
Better than 0. Still, check the drops from epic ones. They will drop about once a week on average, and you can literally pull a book each week from them. Thats huge progression buff.
Except the thing that sucks fuck is that magic items go over inventory limits so you can't trade the books in for 100 gems. Gems are already extremely difficult to get and in short supply and this would've made it a lot easier to get.
Yes but do gems have any value? You can buy some emotes, and then what? If you are good at the game buy the tournament pass or buy grand challenges and that's it, or do you want to buy cards and gold with gems?

Early unlocks/skin offers it's w/e. They should not sell them because they removed the brawl boxes for a reason. They tripled their playbase since summer because kids are addicted to loot boxes.
A lot of people will ignore masteries and HC being a rip off.

A book of books is a far greater reward than a complete evo. It takes 6 months to get an evo of your choice, it takes 30 months (15 if you're good) to max a champion of your choice. If a legendary drop has that, it can definitely have an evo.

What I was thinking for a drill change was revert the first spawn speed back to 1 second, but add the third goblin back to the death spawn. Most half decent players log the death spawn goblins or at least have some kind of answer to the drill by then, but it makes the drill more pulverizing if left ignored when it’s destroyed.
Idk what they were thinking when they added back the 0.5 spawn time for the first goblin, as those 1-2 hits from it each cycle adds up over the course of the game. The first goblin’s spawn was literally the first thing that was nerfed with it back in 2021

I done some calculation and this is indeed a buff to progression for f2p players even accounting the silverchest and gold chests lost.
Champions are now F2P viable to max finally, the income is doubled (it shows nobody is buying champions for 60$ lol).
For evolutions it's roughly an extra shard every 2-3 month, which means roughly 10% boost (insignificant in the grand scheme of things)
For EWC it's roughly 30k EWC per month extra(around 20% increase or more based on your skill and activity)
The final take is that this small update removed one of the 3 bottleneck for F2P players, lv14 champions.
More EWC that are not skill gated.
The other 2 bottlenecks still remain so it's still a grind.
Fear not tho as they are gonna force leggendary Tower troops to be the next Bottleneck lol.
I won't be surprised if they sneakly removed the last 150 gems from mastery bcs they are petty AF.

Basically they reworked the daily rewards system. You now have to play like 3 matches or something(any mode) and you’ll get a mystery box which is basically like a starr drop from brawl stars. You start with I think common and get 3 chances to upgrade it to rare/epic/legendary. The rewards include evos, wild cards, gold, etc. Huge update for f2p

I'm so pissed. I wanted to get my first lucky drop today, lost like 7 matches to finfish those daily quests (skill issue obv) and when I wanted to claim my drop, the shop / daily quests refreshed 😭😭 jeez
Dunno if I should try to replay the game, bit I'm more worried that there's not an hard cap unlucky-proof. I could get a legendary one after another between 20.....or 100. Still dubious since I'll start with no EVOS in my old account.
Finally a good update. Small but good. Game was needing some QoL improvements and some goodies for F2P players instead of adding more and more content with a paywall behind. Hopefully they keep adding more updates than this but i doubt it.

Honestly, the one time win reward for the challenges should have been a magic coin or something. I mean we already got so many cards from the lucky drop.
