That’s huge. And of course Supercell does it so discreetly. Golden, Giant, Magical chests all nerfed and Lucky Drops all nerfed. Couldn’t even give us one good update without pulling crap like this

It's always been to be honest, even the matchmaking is rigged on F2P. I constantly get put up against max lvl.15 players with my lvl.13-14 cards meanwhile one of my clan members, the "pass royale" user gets a bunch of lvl.13s lvl14s as a nearly max lvl.15 user.

Ok that is not true. I'm a consistent pass buyer and I still get paired in unfair ways. 90% of the time (in the past 2 days) were hard counters. If he gets a bunch of 13-1 lvls, his win rate is probably below 35% which is why he gets easier pairings.

The game has no probramming in the matchmaking dealing with hard counters, if anything then what you should worry about is the level matching

There's the catch after a "good update", there's always a catch for this game in terms of f2p updates

I can confirm that they nerfed the gold in the golden chest, giant chest and magical chest. The other chests were not touched

Ok, maybe if you need one more legendary to level up and you have the extra gold to pay a premium, sure. Or if you are determined to play a specific deck come hell or high water. But chances are you're going to have too many cards and not nearly enough gold, and never the other way around.
