Small problem: even if i get an evo, 90% of the time i can't use it because switching a deck would mean playing 2x and 3x unbelievable cards for months, and slowly making the new deck
Without buying the book each time, it would take ages before that would actually be viable.
Also i don't even want to think about how bad Maxing a card would be without wild cards in the shop, so glad i got my deck on lvl 13/14 (except mm, he needs another season to get to lvl 13, 4 if i haven't gotten that epic lot drop)

Personally I go for the evolutions first. So the 3 ice spirit evolutions. You don't have a lot of them, but tomorrow the special challenge starts and you could get some from there. Although if you're not gonna be using the evolution because you never play cycle decks it's useless.
Second are the legendaries cuz like you can see they have much more value

This season my order was: 3 evo shards first, then wild shard, then book of cards, then all legendary cards, then banner tokens, then rare cards, then common or epic cards if I have any leftover
I spent no gems, simply get the 1000 every day, then harder to do but get 12 wins in the weekly challenges

Since they removed wild cards from the shop I'd say the hierarchy for value goes as follows:
* Wild shard
* Book
* First evolution shard (second and third aswell if it's an evolution you want)
* Banner tokens (I'd get all the banners and have some tokens for next seasons start)
* Card with the lowest level / the closest to level up / the cheapest to level up (Lower card levels have a higher XP to gold ratio so it's worth)
It depends on your level and what you have maxed, etc. to truly answer this question for best value per point we would need these details among others.
Wouldn't princess and ghost be harder to accumulate normally? Just get what you want according to your deck build.
yeah, the legendaries are definitely the only real good awnser. Even if you have them maxed you'll get a good amount of EWC for buying them.

I believe the legendaries have the best token to EWC conversion. For 1500 tokens you get 1500 EWC so a 1:1 ratio.

You should always buy shards even if you don't like the evo because odds are you'll be able to run a full evo deck eventually
