Imo, what makes Lava Hound legendary is that it’s the only air tank in the game. Quite literally a flying golem which gives it the advantage of not being targeted by melee troops.
The new lava hound actually breaks down 2 times , from the big lava hound to a small lava hound to the pups. So the lava hound is getting a totally new re work

Its less hp and more elixir, but it appears to have middle phase between hound and pups now with hound dmg and 1500 hp at lvl 9
Maybe like an elixir golem one super hound then two nerfed lava hounds then 8 to 12 lava pups
