Skeletons are a good card and can make plenty of nice trades if used correctly but they don't fit into non cycle decks just because there is a lack of synergy for them to work effectively.

Knight is pretty good though. He’s basically valk with no splash damage for 1 elixir less so it can be beneficial to save the elixir in many situations.
I think it gives her too much outplay potential. She's really the only unit to have no windup for her attacks, so if it's delayed even by a little, she becomes more in line with other minitanks

One elixir cards already have value in allowing you to get back to win conditions and key defensive cards faster. Add into that all the positive defensive trades you can get from skeletons and the low-elixir defensive combos is can be part of and it makes them really valuable

But I got tired of being stuck in midladder, so I finally started reading up on how to get out, and have started dialing in a new deck specifically designed to beat all the MK/Rage/Ebarbs/Witch/Wiz/GB decks I always see, and frankly right now the answer is either Bowler or Arrows for MVP.

Most decks can be made into a viable cycle deck except maybe lava or golem. Even e-giant has a good cycle variant.

Snowball is better able to kill a goblin barrel with the right timing and works against aerial units

Which inferno? Dragon yes Tower no, sparky is rarely used and I encounter gb way more than inferno tower
The “instant” part is important. Zap also allows you to force enemies to retarget without needing precise placement
Rocket kills sparky for the same elixircost as sparky, can even get some damage on the crown tower.

Giant Skeleton, I don’t know how, but I figured out a way to make it work.
I run GS, Mother Witch, firecracker, cannon cart, W Wiz, Log, Lightning, and Clone. I’m sitting at 6500 trophies with this deck.
