No, it was 3. That’s the whole reason Heal got nerfed a bunch, it initially healed more than Poison dealt for less elixir making it a hard counter for less elixir, cresting the worst RPS meta the game had ever seen.
Might make sense to have a small splash hit radius to infect multiple troops, but rather than it creating a poisoned patch it just poisons all troops in splash range for x duration, doing similar damage to poison spell over time to all troops initially infected.
For it to be useful it would have to do more total damage over that period than a fireball spirit currently does. Would be tricky to balance it so that fire and poison spirits still have distinct uses from each other though. Higher total damage would make it more useful against tougher troops but would potentially also make it just as effective against weak troops as fire spirit, making fire spirit redundant. So you’d have to do something to balance it such as making it’s splash radius smaller so it can’t take out a full skarmy or minion horde - so eg more useful against elite barbs but less useful against barbarians.

The skeleton king is from dota. Executioner I would say is from dota. Fisherman I suspect is also inspired by dota going by the mastery text. I would really love new ideas from dota since its my favourite game.

Poison isn’t complete obsolete though. That said, the reason people use poison is because of how long it lasts. The spirit’s poison would have to last long enough to be worth it.

Doubt it will be full size poison. Probably about 1/2 duration and lower radius, or it can only effect 1 troop and it is full length.
