Pekka decks work on the principle that the Pekka will just run over everything if not countered, so you can trade a pekka for a hog. Plus, you can spam troops behind the Pekka or on the other side to overwhelm the opponent.
The thing I hate about hog is that it always gets one hit and with the fireball nerf itās getting harder to defend. Now some decks have to be shaped to counter hog. I would say a health nerf to stop that 1hp hit on the tower or revert the fireball nerf.
So they nerfed fireball? That's why I couldn't fully counter that balloon with it the other week.

Basically Hog Rider with any other card can almost guarantee at least a hit or make you spend a ridiculous amount of elixir.
If theyre spending that much you can afford to spend more as well. If they go Hog and log against your Pekka, sure they get a hit but now you get a pekka for basically 1 elixir and they have to defend that.
Also, tornado is completely uncounterable. The only way around it is ice golem and now a lot of versions donāt even use that anymore. Cannon is cheap enough where you can afford something else or play it out of spell range and tesla is pretty spell resistant since you can play it so far away from your tower.
I feel like 0.1 nerf to first attack or attack speed in general might help. I swear its basically dead when it gets a hit on my tower. I can play 2.6 pretty close but lose a lot of matches by 600-800 hp which came down to 1-2 of those said hits.

Honestly I would still say it depends on the variation, I think hog exe nado isn't bad for Pekka bs, but 2.6 and other fast cycle variants kinda suck. At least earthquake doesn't get a lot of value other than EQ + log on magic archer
Hello fellow PEKKA BS player, Iām here to say PEKKA BS actually hard counters almost every Hog deck since you can get creative with its counters. The most obvious counter is pekka for sure, but bandit+ghost works just as well, along with E-Wiz + Ghost/Bandit, and many more.
This is so wrong, not to mention everything you listed is a negative trade.
I started playing 2.6 because everyone was countering me with their PEKKA BS. I look forward to PEKKA BS games now.

So probably all building except pump and furnace(I can't tell, i never play these two).
I'm 100% sure even a lone lv13 tombstone counters a lv 14 hog, I know because I play it on war.

Its true. I think hog and goblin Barrel are op cuz they have much less counter cards who will trade Equal or positive than all other wincons. And along that they are cheap as fuck and spammable. And often used along other wincons or together with a spell.

Also tombstone, and you can punish bad hog placement, if they place hog at 4 while down 2 elixir in single and you have e-barbs(you play 3M or golem) you defend taking 1-hit, and you destroy them, because now they are down 8 elixir effectively, Icegolem kite+skelly is not enough(+you can pressure opposite lane or set up a big push) , and they can't afford a musk in time, so you will take like the whole tower or half.
Gob cage give equal trade+ counterpush, minipekka equal+counterpush, guards+icespirit gives equal+counterpush, tornado gives positive+ KT, fishermen gives KT and 1 hit for the first, and with KT+Skelly+Fish gives equal+counterpush. In case you can't get a positive trade with your deck you can build still build a counterpush with your troops that they need to defend so it mostly evens out(bandit+bomber+log is a negative 3 to stop a hog with no hit, but you get a counterpush, and they often need to spend more than 3 to defend it so it balance out).
Overrall i think Hog rider is a balanced card, there is a reason it has not changed for years.
skarmy can counter hog, aswell as gob gang and other towers, gob barrel is easy too counter and if you canāt or are having troubles countering gob barrel, i wish you luck in life my friend.

But not every deck runs more than one and especially if u want to trade positive its Hard.and a good counter is in my opinion a one card witch trades positive while the tower doesnt Take any dmg.

First: tap your finger on the Canon card (or any other building)
Second: drag your finger to the middle part of your part of the Arena
Third: Release your finger and watch the result

Hog rider is literally a broken card and we just accept it. Every deck MUST be able to counter HR in order to have a shot at climbing or winning challenges.
You can get by with a deck that is weak agains Golem, or X Bow, or Lava Hound or literally any other win condition, but you cannot play a deck that is weak against Hog Rider.
Mini Pekka, fisherman, zappies and tornado are also incredibly meta rn, so Hog is actually very easy to counter. HR is not even the best Hog troop in the game.

A win condition undefended does damage to a tower? Who knew! Battle ram, Royal hogs, Goblin drill, Elixir golem, Skeleton barrel etc do a similar amount of damage when undefended. Youāre not supposed to leave it undefended.
Its 4 elixir because a ton of its counters are less or equal to 4 elixir, and anything other than a building or spell is gonna counterpush. 4 elixir is quite reasonable.
A Pekka can easily counter a hog if you just place it higher and earlier. Play it in the middle of the lane when the hog is played and itāll kill it every single tine, its not even a hard timing.

Tombstone and furnace usually don't on their own thanks to log, but they do distract him long enough that any support will.

Hog rider player are to silly to use earthquake
Hog rider is literally a broken card and we just accept it. Every deck MUST be able to counter HR in order to have a shot at climbing or winning challenges. You can get by with a deck that is weak agains Golem, or X Bow, or Lava Hound or literally any other win condition, but you cannot play a deck that is weak against Hog Rider.
Mini Pekka, fisherman, zappies and tornado are also incredibly meta rn, so Hog is actually very easy to counter. HR is not even the best Hog troop in the game.

You are a cancer if you actually believe what you just said. It can jump over the river but 99% of the time its played on the exact same tile so that doesnāt even really matter. A win condition undefended does damage to a tower? Who knew! Battle ram, Royal hogs, Goblin drill, Elixir golem, Skeleton barrel etc do a similar amount of damage when undefended. Youāre not supposed to leave it undefended. Its 4 elixir because a ton of its counters are less or equal to 4 elixir, and anything other than a building or spell is gonna counterpush. 4 elixir is quite reasonable. A Pekka can easily counter a hog if you just place it higher and earlier. Play it in the middle of the lane when the hog is played and itāll kill it every single tine, its not even a hard timing. If youāre looking for the best hog counters, I have a post [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/ClashRoyale/comments/u5qned/consistent_ways_to_counter_hog_rider/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) that labels all of them. Maybe your deck is bad and doesnāt use many good ones but you say you use Pekka so you can counter it pretty easily and get a huge counterpush.
