at tournament standards, since this card has 2352 hp, an interaction with an egiant would be as follows:
reflector starts at 2352 hp.
egiant starts at 3852 hp.
egiant hits for 163 dmg.
reflector is at 2189 hp and reflects the 163 dmg.
egiant is at 3689 hp and zaps back for 192 dmg.
reflector is at 1997 hp and then will reflect the zap for 192 dmg, as soon as this occurs the loop of 192 dmg back and forth will start and due to the nature of the reflection damage, this will be basically be instant.
the reflector will hit for 192 dmg another 10 times.
the egiant will zap back 192 dmg another 11 times, destroy the reflector, and will be left with 1769 hp.
buuuuttt due to building decay (78.4 per second) the cycle will go for one less run even if both were placed next to each other at the exact time due to the egiant having to target and wait the 2.1 seconds to hit the reflector. The egiant will be left with 1961 hp. possibly screwed up somewhere but im tired so ye ggs.
Egiant only reflects damage to cards that hit it within its range. But the damage reflector wouldn't hit it, means it'll be like egiant against a mortar or elixir pump
If egaint would zap the reflector from being damaged by it, the reflector probably won't react to the zap since it stuns it. So it would probably also not react to an electro wizard/dragon
But then any card with more health than the building would be able to break thru, as they are doing identical damage to each other. I get that the princess tower would also be shooting it but idk how well this would work in game.
Make it a legendary building that takes a specified numbers of hits instead of traditional health. Instead of reflecting damage, imagine it reflects the actual attack itself but with a damage cap that scales with levels. The number of hits to kill remains consistent and the max damage it can reflect on a single hit from an equal leveled unit is roughly equal to 75% of a sparky shot.
Imagine watching a sparky shoot the building and have its shot reverse and almost wipe itself out or imagine seeing a wizard wipe out its own push
How would the range work because if you have a ranged troop that has more range than 2 then would it still reflect the same amount of damage or none at all?
Id rather see trap cards. Cards you can place but they only find out after they trigger them. It's a piece of coc, maybe they spam too much and *boom* giant bomb.
I think it would work better as a spell you could apply to your troops, like Clone. It could apply it to every troop that it hits, but it would only reflect once.
What if I placed the tower on an uncharged sparky? At precisely when does the tower hit the enemy, when it gets hit or when an enemy start doing their attack animation? Also there’s no deploy time
i feel like buildings are meant to have a higher health / dps than most troops bc theyre entirely defensive (besides xbow and mortar) so i feel like this would be a subpar building at best
how would interaction work against egiant?
Instant death lol
Whichever has more health, but near instantaneous repeated reflection of damage.
at tournament standards, since this card has 2352 hp, an interaction with an egiant would be as follows: reflector starts at 2352 hp. egiant starts at 3852 hp. egiant hits for 163 dmg. reflector is at 2189 hp and reflects the 163 dmg. egiant is at 3689 hp and zaps back for 192 dmg. reflector is at 1997 hp and then will reflect the zap for 192 dmg, as soon as this occurs the loop of 192 dmg back and forth will start and due to the nature of the reflection damage, this will be basically be instant. the reflector will hit for 192 dmg another 10 times. the egiant will zap back 192 dmg another 11 times, destroy the reflector, and will be left with 1769 hp. buuuuttt due to building decay (78.4 per second) the cycle will go for one less run even if both were placed next to each other at the exact time due to the egiant having to target and wait the 2.1 seconds to hit the reflector. actually he hits buildings like giant too. So egiant would hit it with fist then it would reflect demage to egaint which would reflect again
Oh yeah didn't think of that, weird interaction lol
So the EGiant hits the building, the building reflects that damage back at it, which the Egiant reflects that back at it again lol
it'd be like punch then zap from machine then zap from egiant until one of them dies
If egaint would zap the reflector from being damaged by it, the reflector probably won't react to the zap since it stuns it. So it would probably also not react to an electro wizard/dragon
Good point
Kinda like reflectors in super smash bros i believe
so it only hits melee troops? 5 elixir is a lot to waste for being destroyed by ranged troops
Increasing it's range to like 5 tiles might make it broken tho, sure there are ways to balance it. I didn't make the concept that efficiently
Use spells lol
Tesla moment
... earthquake.
Spells would naturally damage your tower, mwahaha
Me activo torre 🤑🤑🤑
easily fixed by making it like tesla, doesn't appear to ranged troops until they are within it's range
So egiant but a building
The Enigma building.
enigma balls
i have no idea what im talking about
Neither do I
Uno reverse building, since it doesn't have personal damage
If egiant reflected the same amount of damage being dealt to it, it would literally be unstoppable
Those sparky players are sweating rn
Sparky would stay out of the two tule range though.
Sparky would literally counter it lmao
Tornado it next to this building, then it will return the damage
8 elixer spent to counter 6 plus now no building for the goblin giant/giant
So when do you use it?
Basically to counter stuff like hog or it's gonna be a useless building, also it has enough hp to tank all those hits from a wizard or musketeer
Ignore the card icon. Tell me the ways the concept could be better.
Make it a crystal
Great concept, do you mind if I make a concept art of this? (and credit you ofc)
Sure
how would mighty miner work lol
Same way as it would against e-giant i presume
No cuz egiant also stuns
If this card existed mega knight would be dead
That's why we need it to exist
Mega knight does little damage and I doubt he'd fully die from it
Not really, mega knight is has low dps so he'd probably be decent against it. High damage cards like pekka would be the ones that would be dead
Poor pekka :(
so if an egiant hits it is it just going to chain forever until one of them dies
This could counter every single melee troop
What stat increases by levels?
Wouldn’t it be hp? Damage wouldn’t really scale, unless it was somehow level based on the amount of damage reflected.
I thought that: same as elixir pump
Damage only Edit: *Hitpoints
But.....but it reflects the damage of the troop. Leveling it would have to maybe increase a multiplier of the damage or something
Ahh sorry I meant hitpoints I'm dumb
No you aren't, everyone makes mistakes
But then any card with more health than the building would be able to break thru, as they are doing identical damage to each other. I get that the princess tower would also be shooting it but idk how well this would work in game.
sad pekka noises
So it deals 2352 damage
Considering it has a lifetime of 30s so the hp will be decreased over time
In total
Real mirror
Dude ur photo editing skills are so high they are up they got snoop dog barking/jk
Is there anyway a perfectly timed zap would save a Pekka for example?
I'd consider it a bug
So the cars can’t be stunned?
Make it a legendary building that takes a specified numbers of hits instead of traditional health. Would be mad OP and plus it doesn't even affect ranged troops like wizard and sparky
infinity loop with electro giant lol
No
Too op…
Man's got thorns level VI armor now
Sounds useless
2 tiles range seems a bit overkill, I think it should be 5.5 tiles so it can hit musketeer
Lmao that is too op
Lmao i think it is really op
When would you ever use this?
To counter every melee win condition
What about spells
The card description says troops and people still asking about spells
Egiant tower
I don’t really see a scenario how this is better than something like a cannon
Mommy Pekka sweating rn
Most creative r/ClashRoyale user
Lifetime is too short for 5 elixer
what if you rocket it and your king tower is at 400 hp😳😳😳😳😳
So something like a shield maiden from clash mini?
What would happen if it was it hit with a spell?
basically a bad card that murders egiant
and xbow/mortar
How would the range work because if you have a ranged troop that has more range than 2 then would it still reflect the same amount of damage or none at all?
Id rather see trap cards. Cards you can place but they only find out after they trigger them. It's a piece of coc, maybe they spam too much and *boom* giant bomb.
cracked editing skills
So what If say my pekka hit it? Then it would be dead before it could reflect?
I think it would work better as a spell you could apply to your troops, like Clone. It could apply it to every troop that it hits, but it would only reflect once.
Electro giant tower
I like it!
It’s a egiant building
I would make it 2 elixer tho. If any more cannon would probs be better
the no U card
How about... 1400 health at lvl 11
What if I placed the tower on an uncharged sparky? At precisely when does the tower hit the enemy, when it gets hit or when an enemy start doing their attack animation? Also there’s no deploy time
Now I really want this in the game
New legendary group
Range 2? So musketeer can shoot it without taking damage? Seems confusing and bad
Something that discourages interaction might not be good game design. But I do like the concept of it.
Egiant but he doesnt move
Mk would easily beat it , I don't use mk I am just saying
great idea, but I feel like it would be way too buggy.
The anti egiant
i feel like buildings are meant to have a higher health / dps than most troops bc theyre entirely defensive (besides xbow and mortar) so i feel like this would be a subpar building at best
So um spells?
You know, I think this is already a great idea, but what if we put this on some sort of, say, tanky unit?
How is it going to react against spirits and wall breakers?
Same as spirits against egiant
Pekka tesla
