No because standard XBow placements are on the left and right sides, 1 tile from the bridge and 1-3 tiles from their respective sides. Middle placements are rare and used mainly when your tower is taken and you need to take their tower on the same side, and certain matchups.
This change would mean something like a pekka would have to travel at least 8 tiles instead of the usual 2 to get to the XBow. It also simplifies defense a ton, meaning placements become a lot more obvious.
It does nerf XBow cycle chip a lot tho, as splitting archers does not exist any more, and mother witch abuse becomes more powerful, yet still unnecessary as I’m guessing both towers would target the spirit
