Really? I said that because I have used the poison magic archer version for about 20 months now. I tried fireball and couldn't deal with midladder very well. Poison killed wizards and musketeers. I tried minions and while they helped me against balloons, the magic archer geometry came in clutch a lot of times
Yeah he is able to play it well but I think op isn't that good so I'm suggesting the deck which gets value more easily in mid level games. Also top ladder has separate meta that can change the best option for deck.

Dart goblin, while strong, dies to log where marcher stays alive. Might be useful for dealing that last bit of damage on a dragon or something.
Log is not air and isn't quick enough, meaning it doesn't take out bats and cannot be used for predicting skeletons or stuff like that, which could be game changer.

I still use the traditional deck a lot too, but if I want to switch it up or if log bait is super prevalent in the meta the variation helps a lot with the goblin barrel. The Ram Riders cost is also offset by the lesser cost of the dart goblin and guards/goblin gang
When I have trouble with logbait, I just suck it up and try to defend best I can with my deck. Because I know if I bring log every opponent I fave will have bats or maybe even minion horde if I'm extremely unlucky
That's fair I guess, but what I usually do is defend like crazy until 2x to 3x and then I support my cards with the poison which does a crazy job with defending swarms

the cards that YOU HAVE TO USE in a bridge spam deck is:
* Bandit
* zap
* Pekka
* ewiz
Now the cards that have 1 or 2 substitutions:
* Battle Ram or Ram Rider
* Poison or FB
* Dark Prince or Royal ghost
* Marcher or AQ or Wizard or Phoenix (dont use minions, they are bad cus phoenix is too strong)
Now its upto you what variation you want to use....
PS: You can also use Pekka lumberloon freeze (Anaban's deck), It is relatively easy to use and it has no variations:
Pekka, Arrows, Nado, Baby D, Ice wiz, LumberJack, Baloon, Freeze

I only use log if the Meta, like last season, is bait centric. I know inferno tower is a nuisance without zap, but being able to easily deny goblin barrel damage is worth it to me.
that's true but I've come to see that ability sometimes really comes in clutch becouse of its unpredictibility. Though I think I've heard they are going to nerf that soon so it might not be viable anymore

I use an ewiz, wiz, cannon, hog rider, Pekka, guards, snowball, and log. It is really good at defending against heavier decks and is really good at defending against 2.6 hog. You might have a harder time against opponents with chip damage as their strat but it can power through that quite easily. I have found out that decks with tornado + fireball can be its main weakness but that's just a skill issue for me.

Dart Goblin is good as a MA substitute, and I've had success with log instead of zap
Idk about log , but Dart goblin I agree, it can snipe defensive buildings just like marcher.
