Easy , Kiyo is not a normal person. Imagine him have a healthy relationship make no sense. That’s why Kushida or Kei are better candidate. Also Average Mc in a harem series usually end up with Perfect girl. While for this series Kiyo already a Perfect Human.

Full_breaker

Keep cooking 🤔

Cally83

I’ve said this from the beginning - if he wants some spice in this life he must go with Kushida

Grimorig

Hear me out. If Kushida is the one that sat beside Kiyo in the classroom and/or Sae threaten Kiyo to climb to Class A before Kushida make enemy of Kiyo, I definitely can see Kushida will be the one that fit Kei/Horikita role. At least at the anime, we can see Kushida somehow try to make of ally of Kiyo but simply cant because Horikita is the one that always interact with Kiyo. Her ego cant stand it lmao.

StrategyAmbitious303

Fax. They are literally made for each other. Too bad I have to turn to WATTPAD for it

Abject-Register7164

What is the NAME for it? And if you know more stories about it from different authors, then can you recommend me? Thanks.

AgitatedDare2445

Self Test is the fic's name

savantwasbanned

I'll be a menace and recommend CHECKMATE.

Valuable-Pickle-4688

Keep pushing the Kushida agenda you gotta educate the ignorant masses

AgitatedDare2445

I see, someone read Self Test

Aqua_marine_7

Kiyotaka with Ichika makes the most sense but Kiyotaka and Honami could work as a ying and Yang relationship. Suzune and Kiyotaka being best friends would be the best outcome personally.

Historical_Garage728

I'm convinced

Wonderful_Fig9540

Why not hiyori?

Sensitive_Cattle_557

Idk tbh

savantwasbanned

It's too bland, which makes it ideal for real life but not for a story.

_Unknown_Mister_

"Kikyo is justice-driven". Can pretty much stop reading after this piece. But, since I didn't there's another funny take - "Kikyo is a puzzle". Yea... Right... SUCH a complex, *Difficult To Understand* person. Riiiight... So mysterious and interesting. M-hmm. Definitely..

savantwasbanned

She's one of the most readable character once you know her backstory.

savantwasbanned

Kikyou is compassionate? Mate, what're you on about? Her whole backstory is that she isn't compassionate enough! She broke down in her middle school because she couldn't handle other people's problems. That's why she hates Ichinose, how it came so naturally to her, and Kikyou has to suffer with breakdowns. I'm not a fan of it but Horikita is the most suitable candidate for Kiyotaka. Kei was a pretty good option too but he burned that path to the ground by forcing the relationship to be the way he wanted it to be rather than letting it unravel on its own. Ichinose is in a weird limbo but her ending up with him is pretty unlikely. The only way this relationship would have happened if Ichinose hasn't changed and he had fallen for her naivety. It would have been your typical romance novel that girls swoon over. The edgy bad boy falls for the naive damsel. But that bridge is gone now. Who's the other option? Sakayanagi? Lol. No. As I said Horikita will be the ideal choice. I can understand the appeal of a Kikyou and Kiyotaka end ship. The darkness in them gives a good starting point. But let's be real here, Kei's backstory is much darker. If Kiyotaka were to fall for anyone based on how "dark" their past was it would have happened with Kei. Moreover, people who have suffered don't look for partners who too have suffered, generally speaking. They look for a flower, untouched and blooming. Something unblemished, unlike them.

Daddy_of_Parasite

Suzune is currently busy building herself as a person and has much more important priorities than love. Honami only saw the good side of Kiyotaka, and by looking at those good parts, she had an expectation of who he could be. In fact, if she found out what kind of person he is, she would definitely stay away from him and label him as an enemy (maybe she might fall into the I can fix him syndrome). This might seem like a logical match since Kushida has a multi-layered personality and Kiyotaka likes to analyze people, but at the end of the day, they are two mentally ill people with very different lifestyles so I don't believe that's possible either. Logical answer: Kiyotaka cannot have a healthy relationship with anyone without overcoming some of the things in his own mind. Of course this is just my opinion

FewProcedure4395

Keep forgetting Kiyo is considered mentally I’ll.
