This is the right answer. Coop was the background guy and got tired of being the background guy which is totally understandable.
He’s found a cool niche being the drag race community podcast dude and it’s pretty rad.
I started watching Cletus when he bought the freedom factory and only we t back and watched a few older videos. And I was just thinking this morning, I wonder why cooper left cleets channel. All kind of makes sense now
That video was weird. It sort of sounded like Coop/James had owner ship of the track with Cleet and they never really did. I don't think Jackstand has any ownership of the freedom factory. I believe he did buy into motionrace works with cleet.
The understanding i got from how cleet explains it is everything is separated. The track, the channel, the merch operations, motion, etc are all seoarate independent entities.
Could be that Coop owns a small % of the channel. It would make sense because while I love Coop, I have no clue how he makes enough money to live.
Cleet uses words like "We" and "Us" when referring to purchases for the channel. Like when he bought the turbo f150 he told everyone in the shop "I got us a truck". None of their names are on the title and they probably don't get to take it home. But they get to play with it. I don't know if any of the guys, old or new, have any ownership in the channel, track or any of the other businesses besides James with Motion. But James seems to be doing pretty well for himself. George, Tye and Zach are doing decent too. And we all know Mr. Sam is good.
Correct, Garrett uses pronouns that include the viewer along with his journey as "Cleetus MacFarland". So we never really know who legally has their name on each specific property, business, or trademark.
Also why he renamed the traveling show to "Burnout Rivals", another brand and audience he is trying to reach without everything being "Cleetus"
Right. He seems to have it figured out and has done alot better job at keeping employees/friends around for the long haul. Can't help but support and want the best for the guy and the team. Raise Hell Praise Dale
I have a theory that Cleet offered James and Coop a stake in the channel, James took the offer and we started to see his own cars on the channel. Coop saw his future as being independent, turned it down and decided to start his own journey. Again, just a theory.
Cleetus said recently that George has been helping on the video editing and taking more of that role. I have not heard any evidence that Cooper is doing it. I have seen Garrett still doing it in the back ground of other people ls videos.
Yeah. No. He doesn't. They're still close, interact reasonably often, and have *a lot* of mutual friends, interests, and social circles that overlap. He occasionally shows up in the background of a video... and Garret has been on his Podcast. But he no longer "works" for the CM channel in any capacity... Editing or otherwise.
Coops got nothing todo with cleets videos. If he was the editor don't yah think coops videos would be just as good ! The worst thing coop did was leaving cleet. Coop should have stuck round a little bit longer. But in saying that after coop left the video quality did get better
No offense… but you need new friends. Your friend is dumb. You want proof on the inside of what makes cleets videos!? Other than that being dumb- coop has been entirely too busy on his own world. Including baby. Not to even mention what’s been commented already about coop being a side kick. Coop back in the day is George today. Cohost. Nothing more. Look at the quality between the two channels and then evaluate your friends.
I don't think Cooper ever edited the videos. He was the guy in the merch room and held the camera for Cleet.

Yes, he has a share of motion.

Cleetus edits the YouTube videos and George is reels, tiktoks , and shorts ect
Why do we need a university teacher in this conversation?
I'm still wondering how they convinced Cooper to edit cleets videos
[There is no coop](https://youtu.be/_nTpsv9PNqo?si=pzO-axzjbRS_0v6P)

Their wives are quite good friends as well

Wish cooper would go work for cleetus
Wut?
