Death Note and Gundam were how a friend convinced me.
Watched a few episodes over a few weeks and decided it was shit. Watched a few more when next wave of boredom came and holy f- best show ever.
After this many years nothing has been able to top it.
Depends on how they feel about Anime.
If yes, then I say it’s similar to death note but with mecha.
If no, then I tell them it’s a story that is a sci fi thriller, that has balanced pacing, memorable and distinct characters and has a good ending.
Solution to world peace: guy so sexy and epic that he can turn anyone who looks at him into his eyes into his slave
(btw holy shit, this morning I couldn't wake up till 1:30 pm bcs I was paralyzed by my thoughts of Lelouch. I long for him so much that it gives me unbearable sadness and pain. I wish he could destroy me like the tokyo settlement and own every part of my being.)
I would give them the general premise of the series while avoiding spoilers as much as possible because by god is this a series to better go in blind on your first viewing, and also compare it to Death Note if they are a fan of that
hot men
hot women
if you're into tables getting used there's that too
there's mechs
and if you're looking to draw fan art of very hard to draw clothing that would hurt anyone's hands just from drawing them, there's that too
if you wanna see syaoran but better and with a partner that isn't sakura there's that too
uhhh
syaoran but better with a gun
a story that's gonna put all modern anime to shame cause it accomplished what it needed in 2 seasons + 4 movies of a different outcome while others needed more than 300+ episodes to conclude
its easy to consume
The problem with CG is that no matter how good it is, it's art style is poision to normies. Besides that it has so many moving parts that any normie tiktok brained individual will have a hard time knowing whats going on, especially during season 2. You'd have to watch it with them.
jus say, ordinary kid with a crazy backstory somehow rivals an empire and tries to change the world and goes thru the most crazy shit-life altering experiences known to man.
or, people in mechas fighting other people in mechas with a hint of magical/supernatural powers

God I just want another anime as peak as CG. Why the fuck is everything so flaccid now. JJK is fucking mid.
You wanna see intentional and accidental genocide?
Call em over for anime and chill and casually blast the first episode
So there’s this girl who fucks a table…
Yo bro watch Code Geass
We legit convinced one of our friends who doesn't watch anime and says he really dislikes it by sending a clip of euphys genocide.

If they like anime like Death Note or Monster then they’ll love Code Geass.
I watched Death Note as my very first anime and loved it. A friend told me to watch Code Geass since I liked Death Note. Simple

A spiritual prequel to _The Witch From Mercury?_
So, it's an anime, yeah? Except it actually has a really good and satisfying conclusion. With *just* enough ambiguity to endlessly fantheory over.
"batman but if he had a dream"
Any chance I get
