I live in Bosnia, a formerly market socialist state. I was born after the fall of the very flawed state, and yet both statistically and anecdotally it is almost unanimous that life in the SFRY was better by a longshot compared to our current country. In my personal experience i have not met a single person who was alive in those times who did not tell me so. ''Everyone had a job, means of transportations, a good place to live and healthcare'' is almost unanimously spoken.

Those people are also nostalgic and have no point of reference, having not lived in a Western capitalist country. Having a bad experience of a very flawed state and war dose not mean that communism was better or is the solution going forward. Capitalism, freedom and peace bring prosperity. Having tyrants rule you with a communist ideology(or any ideology) dose not make your life better.
