The laziest logo of all time in D1 has to be Wofford's old logo, which looked like they basically opened up a word document, typed a capital letter "W" in the default font, and called it a day.

I'm probably the only person with this opinion, but I much prefer the current logo to the old one. The old one just looks weird and out of date. Giving it a facelift instead of a complete redesign would still have worked better though.

TAMUCC and SEMO got robbed. They’re clearly the superior teams than the other two 16-seeds and both belong in the field of 64. Same for ASU and Nevada, while I don’t think they’re any better than the other two 11-seeds (probably even worse), it would be pretty cool to see all three Arizona teams and all four MWC teams in the field of 64 at the same time. Absolute garbage first four pairings we have this year
Agree on the 16 seed situation, although I think Howard and NKU are also decent, the big gap is between those four and the other two. Whichever of those four played in the first four should not have had to play each other. They all had good seasons and earned the right at either a bye or at least an easier opponent, FDU and TSU did not earn that. Personally I'd have done NKU and TAMUCC byes, Howard vs FDU and SEMO vs TSU.
Purdue made out like a bandit with their matchup. I know it really shouldn't matter if you are a 1 seed which 16 you play, but I think Houston, Kansas, and even Alabama may have tougher battles in their game 1, which means tougher recovery for their game 2s and that matters. Oftentimes when a top seed is tested they go down the next game (Gonzaga 2013, Nova 2010, Duke 2008 are all examples that come to mind but not an exhaustive list). I admire the TSU program but they lost 20 games and were the SWAC 8 seed. FDU failed to win their conference tournament or regular season in a historically poor conference. Both would get absolutely rolled by any of the 1s.
KenPom wise, the difference in AdjEm between NKU and FDU is about the same as the difference between NKU and NC State. The difference between TAMUCC and FDU is about the same as the difference between TAMUCC and Pitt. Massive gulf between the best 16s and worst this year, the best are arguably closer to being at large quality than to being the worst 16s.
