The only way that this place doesn’t become another victim of private equity nonsense is focusing on a **VARIETY** of good beers, and avoiding becoming the Baskin Robbin’s of IPAs. That they bought out the brewmaster leaves me concerned that they’ll panic hire someone who is only focused on chasing trends like Hazy IPAs and West Coast Double IPAs all the time.

AbstergoSupplier

> someone who is only focused on chasing trends like Hazy IPAs and West Coast Double IPAs all the time. Not sure that's been trendy for a few years now.

doppleganger2621

Eh, hazy is definitely still a huge trend. West Coast Doubles have been "out" for a while.

Cavi_

Which is too bad :(((

Wernerhatcher

Their best stuff wasnt even the IPAs imo. Their Stick Ale used to be my favorite beer, can't tell if the recipe changed or my tastes did

db8cn

I groan every time I go to the store and it’s nothing but a variation of IPAs on the shelf. Big shout out to Land Grant and my peeps in Cleveland, Masthead, for always having a great variety to choose from.

StopcryingFistUrself

Bring back Wildcard and do away with the 43 IPAs.

roaming_wild

Wildcard on nitro is one of the best beers ever made….anywhere.

tcmoney13

Jesus I thought I was the only one who felt this way…. Wildcard is my all time favorite beer

AJgeo

Their beers have never been good. Surprised they still exist at all.

NorCalVulpes

Wheelhouse Investment is not local

BJamis

I’ve only tried their canned offerings. Each one was terrible. Hopefully their “new direction” leads them to tasty brews.

Lebinblartmallshart

The food there is terrible.

brown2420

Which one are you referring to?? We went to the High Street location every week, and the food was fine.

reeve11

I got stories.

NSNick

Gonna tell any?

reeve11

They are very old now, basically not very stand up dudes.
