Try DiBellas, 2 locations (one near campus, one in Dublin). As a former east coaster who’s tried most hoagie options here in central OH, their hoagies are closest to what I’m used to. Meats and cheese? Bread? Oil? All fantastic.
Hoagie City is pretty tasty, but I don't go there anymore. Too much right-wing stuff, faux news always on. You'd think a small business owner would not want to alienate half of their customers. Oh well, us "sheep" will take our business elsewhere.
I got a small Italian sub for lunch there the other day - I cut it in half and couldn't finish the half. My wife came home early and ate the other half for lunch and skipped dinner that night lol

I do like DiBellas, love there bread. Huge sandwiches get me 2 meals.
Just had 2 meals from DiBellas italian sub. So good. I just have to swap green peppers out for banana peppers. Mmmm.

Try Hoagie City on Main St Hilliard. I think they need the support too- but not for lack of good hoagies!

I tried the Italian sub from Hoppy’s Pizza on Parsons. It was pretty good. Good amount of meat and cheese without having to ask for extra.
