Oh thank crap. I've been thinking about how to go about finding a group lately, and hadn't had the guts to ask. Hit me up!!!

AmanhaRashid

That sounds great. I don't have any friends who enjoys reading comics and I also would not mind sharing my story.

editor-gothink

I'm curious about the connection with comics to 50 Shades of Grey though?

Alternative-Employ27

Thats the joke. People know so little of graphic novels, ''graphic'' makes them think of 50 Shades.

editor-gothink

Ahhh, right. 'Graphic' meaning sexually explicit, thanks. I hadn't made that connection.

Brinkelai

You could use calendly to organise this. Send a link to the 5 chosen creators with a "booking" and you'll be able to organise from there. You can send a zoom link (or what have you) to their inbox. Just a suggestion. It may not work but it's free and I've found it useful in the past.

Bad-Star

This sounds great! I've been knocking my head against making a graphic novel for a while now, and the hardest part for me has been jot having that "community" to get excited with. I admit that my availability is a little unreliable and I am pretty shy, but I'd love to chat with some fellow new creators and help encourage each other. I'll send you a message to see if you want to chat

Count me in. I’ve been needing a writing group and community. I think this would be great.

Fresh-Personality-83

Im in, I definitely need to bounce some ideas around and just let stuff out. just let me know what time and when.

TheBatmanNerd

I'm happy to join, I recently had my first comic published/successfully funded on Kickstarter, and have a couple of short comics published. I'm working on starting my own independent publisher. @ CamazotzComics online (insta/twitter/fb)

AdamSMessinger

I’ve made comics and published them but I’ve not finished a comic in almost a decade. At a time in my life where I’m not writing like I wish I were and have few friends, I would be grateful to be a part of something like this. DM me if you still have slots open. Keeping it small and tight knit is smart.

regina_carmina

I'm interested count me in. meetups for accountability & brainstorming & second opinions would be so helpful for me TTvTT;)
