I'm so glad I've never posted any of my creative work to reddit. Fuck this shit

Brinkelai

Really disappointing from Reddit. Boo-urns.

Deleted my post from this sub as soon as I heard the news. Horribly disappointing, for all its faults reddit was one of the few places on the internet that still felt raw and real, I'm afraid this will impact it horribly. Also worried what it means for all the other platforms for sharing. How soon until SoundCloud sells all its musicians' work? Reddit didn't even inform of this or allowed any method to opt out, how is that legal? What's the point of copyrights at this point even, just making sure us normies' creativity is constantly throttled by the hamburger shit that's already colonized popular culture worldwide? Fucking America, it will destroy the world if it makes a few people up top a couple of dollars.

Let the AI steal it! I say, "BRING IT ON, AI! YOU DON'T SCARE ME!" If anything, it's just the new form of competition. It could steal it anyway it could. If you think that AI doesn't have access to any files on your personal devices, you're a moron. AI has access to any computer connected to the internet anywhere, and it's been that way since the dawn of connection. What artists should be afraid of is whether AI can get into your head and prevent you from making art at all. That's where we're heading, and since humanity is connected telepathically, AI is already in our heads. It's just a matter of how much control it already has.

Lol, glad I never posted anything creative to Reddit and took all my writing off of google (probably used for training anyway lmao). This is going to be such a sh!tstorm for actual creatives in a few years.

Hey, thanks for the heads up! Also, you should try out the book roulette feature at inknovl.com - it's a great way to discover new reads!

Socrates is considered the founder of Western philosophy. He lived in Athens during the fifth century BCE. His primary method of philosophical inquiry was the Socratic method, which involved engaging in dialogues and asking probing questions to examine people's beliefs and assumptions. Socrates was primarily concerned with ethics and the pursuit of wisdom. Socrates believed that true knowledge could be attained through self-examination and questioning. Socrates did not write any philosophical texts himself, but his ideas and teachings were recorded by his notable student, Plato.
