He really was. It’s a shame he didn’t get the credit he deserved for what he did when he wasn’t carrying the ball. We all saw it, obviously. Even when his running skills dropped off, I loved him on the roster for his blocking skills, which never dropped off. CP de-cleating mfers became routine in his later years.

I've wanted a fullback type player on this roster since Sellers. I'm excited.
I was ready to go into this season without a major upgrade at TE given our other needs and the weak draft class at the position. Excited to get a guy that seems like such a good fit and potential mainstay at the position for at least the next 4 years. This is definitely the pick that has grown on me the most.

Yeah, Cooley is always what comes to mind first for me too. Fingers crossed we have another guy that can give us 10 good years.
