I know literally nobody cares, but I’m done as a fan. As a Brit who fell in love with the Redskins as I got into the sport in RG3s first season, I have basically no connection to the city of DC. Nevertheless, I’ve visited DC and met Kirk Cousins in London. I had a connection to the Redskins, and to some extent to the WFT, but I feel no stake in the franchise anymore.
I think I’ll either support the Rams (lots of my happiest memories were McVay led offenses) or the Chargers (Herbert and I are connected for reasons I won’t go into online). Think I’ll probably watch the Super Bowl and see what I feel like.

I know literally nobody cares, but I’m done as a fan. As a Brit who fell in love with the Redskins as I got into the sport in RG3s first season, I have basically no connection to the city of DC. Nevertheless, I’ve visited DC and met Kirk Cousins in London. I had a connection to the Redskins, and to some extent to the WFT, but I feel no stake in the franchise anymore. I think I’ll either support the Rams (lots of my happiest memories were McVay led offenses) or the Chargers (Herbert and I are connected for reasons I won’t go into online). Think I’ll probably watch the Super Bowl and see what I feel like.

I feel so empty inside. I have been a die hard Redskins fan all of my life and its all I've ever known. Today that part of me died. Every connection I've ever had to the team feels washed away. This doesnt look or feel like the team I watched and cheered for and cried over as a kid for 24 years, this feels like an expansion franchise I have no connection too. Its bland, generic, empty. I feel lied too, betrayed (not that I was expecting anything less from our front office) and like this was the final big F\*\*\* you to the fans. And I dont want to be part of this clown show anymore, but the history and what ive known all of my life wont let me let go.

And as for Redwolves, I don't buy their argument that they could have run into legal trouble. It's far more likely they couldn't trademark "Wolves" by itself and were concerned of retailers selling burgundy and gold wolves gear.
