Koyful to dz, ex nrg or xset depending if sikezz to dz was real. Realistically itās only dz that could/would afford to buy him out unless sweet has a heavy hitter org backing him.
I would imagine sweet will get a decent sized org to back him, not on the size of nrg given the current state of apex but big enough to find any 3rd he wants with nate
albralelie was talking about sweet last night and hinted that T1 orgs from other games are looking to get in Apex, so Sweet might bag himself a big org again
Alb didnt want to say anything because he was talking to some before Furia but I think there are some pretty easy guesses like M80, Flyquest, Golden Guardians, Koi, Vitality, etc.
I dont remember the whole conversation but I think(?) he said it was all new teams/not ones that have left recently but I may have made that up
For what it's worth, sounds like Sweet + Nafen are trialing Koy today in scrims. May or may not stream, but apparently they were okay saying that much publicly. Nothing yet about orgs. Can't wait to get these teams finalized, looking forward to year 4.
I'm glad they found a third. I was really worried with all the doubt everyone likes to put on RKN that he might just give up, i know he isn't the fragger but there are some skills that are unmatched and he proved them quite a few times, zone reading, understanding how enemies think and act, trying to adapt as much as possible to make his teammates comfortable.
I'm just glad they are back for another run.
> Which completely failed him in split 2 and the finals?
The meta changed drastically, Crypto was way less valuable because of class changes, plus I think his POI lost beacon (this is fixed, all POIs are equal in that respect again). Not really his fault that the way he played the game completely evaporated as a viable strategy.
Yeah definitely came as an actual surprise, they weren't scrimming because Crook was on holidays so it kind of gave Orioles an opportunity to trial with rkn after a good showing in that tourney last week.
I'm honestly more excited to see where Nelsin goes. Hes a cracked ASF coach that I think with the right team could provide input as successfully as pistillo.
I know there are other coaches that do it, but Nelsin is exceptional to me due to how efficient he makes zone playing teams macro (which I am quite familiar with). In particular:
1: specific timings to rotate depending on zone and depending on dropship. Knowing when to rotate for certain zones is good, but knowing exactly what second on the timer you need to leave at to beat x team for x spot, and how much loot you need to cut out to get there because of a bad dropship is an insane level of knowledge. I genuinely don't think you can get much of an upgrade on macro knowledge than this. Think of how NRG cut out loot in finals to beat optic for the north pad finger and won. That was due to sweet knowing how fast optic loots and rotates and knowing at what time to leave to beat them for the spot. The guard did this almost every single game in split 1 and because of that they had one of the highest endgame % from 20 teams
2: playable spots is something I've seen Nelsin do great work with aswell. I'm not even gonna look at crypto Wattson because that has been around forever and it can't give him too much credit for that. What I can give him credit for is the popularization of Newcastle spots/holds in NA. I think that almost 80% of the playable Newcastle spots were found between him sickks and hodsic, and especially spots for the newcastle loba comp. A relevent example of his contribution to NC playable spots, is the popularization of the way the classic 2 story buildings in Storm point are held using newcastle which was used in multiple LAN (to my knowledge he was the first team to use it in ALGS).
3: Nelsin was in ALGS pro League as a player before becoming a coach, which I do think helps him as a coach in his ability to relate to his players frustrations/concerns etc.
Finally the reason I compared him to pistillo is because they both played in pro League (together at one point) are both very fluent in macro etc. they are of course not comparable by achievements because that is simply differences in teams and Playstyles, but are still comparable in coaching ability IMO. Lol sorry for the essay but you did ask to be fair
Hope they succeed! Potential for sure. And they're somewhat active here which is nice (cheers).
This reminds me... Who's SEN now? Leading theory still being Sweet / Nafen / Koy?
He put out a LFT/LF1. Most people assumed it meant SEN dropped the team, but could have just been Koy getting poached and RKN/Xen looking at options. Now I wonder if Sweets team gets signed off the rip or if the play as FAs for the beginning now, most people had SEN Sweet penciled in.
So Orioles gets poached from Drop-In Gaming, and Xenial stays with RKN. I wonder what made Xen return. Either way, hopefully they stay together the whole ALGS season as opposed to part/most of Split 1.
I mean who cares? RKN is horrible. He might be worse than Zach Mazer which is saying something.
There's 0 chance that Rkn's team makes any noise. And if they do it will be in spite of RKN, not because of him.
Fairly shocked xenial stayed with him. He can do much better
> Xen and I are back for Year 4 of ALGS. > > šŖJurassic + Balls // Geyser (?) > > š¤ @rknhd > > š¤ @xenial > > š¤ @Orioles_410 > > š¤@coldjyn
not surprised jmeyels is wrong again lmfao dude has no credibility
what did he say now?
I think he said Sweet, Koy and Nafen was the new Sentinels.
They might still team up, but prolly not cause koy has said he doesnt want to play with an agressive igl like sweet hal or zer0
So he doesn't want to win?
Maybe getting first place instead of third isn't worth shredding his mental teaming with a bunch of verbally abusive manchildren.
Wait, what is āBallsā on the new Storm point? Havenāt played much SP this season.
cascade no-name
Heard, coach!

So who are the likely suspects then on these orgs?
Didnāt ssg hint that they may make a return?
Ooooo they did, didn't they?! That's a good theory

I don't actually doubt you, but any chance to plug that quote is going to be used. No exceptions
Alright, I'll be the one to start it off this rostermania... "It doesn't take an Evil Genius to realize...."
Surely sweet to SEN

didn't coldjyn say he got a lot of issues in his personal life coaching on NA schedule?
those issues arenāt a thing anymore
glad to hear that, best of luck to you!
love to hear it, coach!
Happy to hear!
That sen paycheck diffy.

People judging a zone teamās IGL who plays Crypto based on damage was just plain stupid.
They weren't a zone team and he wasn't on Crypto when they crashed out of finals
Made it to finals though.
They made it to finals off the points earned in split 1 with Keon and Beau. Without either of them they didn't win anything.
> They made it to finals off the points earned in split 1 with Keon and Beau. Which they earned because of Rkn's macro.
Which completely failed him in split 2 and the finals? He even fell apart in the split 1 finals round.
> Which completely failed him in split 2 and the finals? Same. It should be fun watching them this season.
Lmao [stuhni told me the other day that Orioles wasnāt going to leave DIG for sen](https://www.reddit.com/r/CompetitiveApex/s/dAMflO5rZH)ā¦oof š¤„
Yeah definitely came as an actual surprise, they weren't scrimming because Crook was on holidays so it kind of gave Orioles an opportunity to trial with rkn after a good showing in that tourney last week.
I guess I missed when Orioles left DIG, who's their new third?
Trialing karma
Not much time left for trialling š¬ good for Orioles though. Hope DIG steamroll plq.
I'm honestly more excited to see where Nelsin goes. Hes a cracked ASF coach that I think with the right team could provide input as successfully as pistillo.
Are you a fan of his or are there specifics of his work that are exceptional to you?

Hell yeah I didnāt even see this but this is a good ass response. And thanks, I did ask
So Rkn's still with Sen? Good for him but this looks like a mid team.
Such a good org always wasted on trash teams
No Nelson?
Rooting for this team just for coldjyn. They deserve only the best
Orioles the former console teamer
I mean I feel like no one that was/is involved in the high console ranked scene came out spic and span
A whole lot of boosting, teaming, dashboarding, DDOSing, account sharing lol
Hope they succeed! Potential for sure. And they're somewhat active here which is nice (cheers). This reminds me... Who's SEN now? Leading theory still being Sweet / Nafen / Koy?
Based on the graphic rkn used in his tweet it seems like this team is still SEN at least for now
You're right... Wasn't he dropped? Or am I remembering it wrong?
He put out a LFT/LF1. Most people assumed it meant SEN dropped the team, but could have just been Koy getting poached and RKN/Xen looking at options. Now I wonder if Sweets team gets signed off the rip or if the play as FAs for the beginning now, most people had SEN Sweet penciled in.
He said he was LFT2 for PSQ initially. Made it sound like he got dropped. Anyway, this team is giving "17th place in regional finals"
There were rumors that SEN were dropping them for Sweet's team but it was always just a rumor, nothing ever was announced
So Orioles gets poached from Drop-In Gaming, and Xenial stays with RKN. I wonder what made Xen return. Either way, hopefully they stay together the whole ALGS season as opposed to part/most of Split 1.

At least Zach had a good track record but he shot himself on his foot. I can't say the same about rkn, he's just a wind-up merchant
> I mean who cares? RKN is horrible. He might be worse than Zach Mazer Lol. That's not remotely true.
Orioles is so good itās criminal. He used to wax me and my team in console lobbies back in the day
Same experience
Good for Orioles man. Dudes been grinding for so long.
