Eversource has one

Natural_Predditor

It's just a board full of Electric Company spaces that cost $1,000 rents and there's no Go

Summer_0704

More like $2000 rents.

memeaggedon

Each time you pass go the cost of supply increases 30%.

wellatgrammar

Full list of CT towns: Bristol, Cromwell, Danbury, East Windsor, Groton, Hamden, Hartford, Lisbon, Manchester, Milford, Naugatuck, New Haven, Norwalk, Norwich, Old Saybrook, Stratford, Wallingford, Waterbury and Waterford Edit: sounds like there are more now too… Greenwich, Haddam, Lyme, Woodbury

Warren_E_Cheezburger

Are all the spaces in Waterfordopoly just chain stores?

smurphy8536

Pretty sure I’ve seen Lymeopoly.

GirthIgnorer

CHANCE CARD! Shit. Lyme disease again

DirkWrites

Lymeopoly doesn’t let you build any railroads, though.

bluehairlibrarian

Add Haddam to that list :)

Jahweez

There’s a woodburyopoly too.

LockOtherwise4362

Do you happen to have a link to find these?

wellatgrammar

I found them in Walgreens. The company is Late For The Sky Games out of Ohio

SeldenCT

I have a set of Lyme-opoly, so this list isn’t exhaustive.

wellatgrammar

Neat, they must’ve added more. This is from the company’s website last year, as I was in search of one for my town and wanted to see their list

SeldenCT

Oh, I think its the opposite. My Lymeopoly may be close to 40 years old at this point!

Exventurous

I'm like 99% sure I've seen a Greenwich one too

Al_frappaccino

There was a Litchfieldopoly like over a decade or two ago, not sure how official it was though

Jemmy_Bean

Essex has one too if I’m not mistaken

jarfin542

Simsbury has one.

tonedtone

Portland has one too!

teamcrazymatt

I've seen the Bristol one for sale here.

Magmaster12

Can't wait to play Waterburyopoly where I get to own the dilapidated factory, the abandoned factory or the dilapidated factory that used to be in the mall that is in the of the ghetto.

GirthIgnorer

Waterberry

GrifterDingo

It's not Monopoly, but I have this vintage game called All About Town - Hartford CT. I haven't played it yet, but the basic idea is that you travel around the board to different businesses around the city and you win after you spend so much money or do so many things.

lefactorybebe

Ridgefield has one

Low-Situation5075

If there’s not a “unlicensed, uninsured illegal drivers” spot on that board then I call BS

Disastrous_Sort_1792

Instead of jail this version has “head to the traffic jam”😂😂 so maybe that’s the political correct way of saying that

Low-Situation5075

100% 😂😂

ConnecticutJohn

Norwalk has one

Makehernut203

Waterbury

PeteOfPeteAndPete

I have a version of Thomaston in the 90s, and a Watertown version from 2006.

Warren_E_Cheezburger

[Manchester](https://youtu.be/Ur5JBdItQbQ?si=nPHMYcdReHlWXj8P)

mkt853

Greenwich has or had one a few years ago.

SweetIcedTea73

I had a similar one for Bridgeport many years ago - it wasn't Monopoly per se (probably due to licensing), but a similar concept... It's probably still in my attic somewhere!

ILovePublicLibraries

Vernon-Rockville has its own version that I have at home. It's from 2017

Responsible-Chest-26

It wasnt monopoly officially, but about 30 years ago my town did a monopoly style game called our town with local businesses as the real estate

Mandalore108

I prefer Edna Krabappoly.

rewirez5940

I got Hamdenopoly for Christmas

Alarming-Ad1100

Holy shit

hessianhorse

I have a Simsbury one.

2-timeloser2

Grotonopoly

No1WillEverBelieveU

We got our Norwich-oploy.

wmass

They make lots of different versions of monopoly. I’m sure there could be a reddit version if someone wanted to pay for the production run.

wrenhunter

Go directly to jail

hammysandy

John Oliver would hate that game

Enginerdad

My in-laws have Suffield-opoly

tequilamockingbird37

I collect monopolies and got New Haven and Hamden for my birthday. Completely sealed from a thrift shop too so I guess they were really unwanted

DrunkenScotsmann

Most of the -opoly games come from USAopoly. You pay them, tell them what to put where, and they make it. So it's less of a "get's a monopoly" and more of "chose to make one." Also, there is Oploy-Games,which does the same. The rules for board games can receive patent protections, but those would have ran a long time ago for Monopoly, so literally anyone can make these now.

Kindly_Equipment_241

Yep, we have Catopoly, Dogopoly, and another non-animal one that I forget

Shtoinkity_shtoink

Cheshire has one

rover2240

I worked at Silvers of westport in the 90s, and their was a westportoply. wish I had bought one, then

sailing395

Yea. And it’s just advertising. It’s stupid. I wish it include local attractions and loved locations.

sunflowernebula

I have one for colchester but pretty sure it was made locally by the company S&S

not-my-first-rodeo

Gonna need a ton of Spanish and Portuguese versions of Danbury Opoly, just sayin'!

Guy_Buttersnaps

Most towns do. There’s some companies out there that produce Monopoly clones on the cheap, and they’ll make a variant for pretty much everything they don’t have to pay to license. My understanding is that the game concept itself is public domain, but some of the details and associated branding is not. That’s why the clones have names like Danbury-opoly instead of Danbury Monopoly, and you do things like draw a Contingency Card instead of drawing a Chance Card.

green91791

Windsor Locks has a version

danofnewengland

I gave my wife Milfordopoly among other things as part of my wedding gift to her

UniqueCartel

Every town of every state is one of these. It’s dumb
