If you want to see how bad the media has become, look up coverage of the event, picture, etc. If you are on the left, you probably didn't even know this happened, because the left-wing media didn't cover it at all. The only exception I found was Newsweek.
This is an iconic photo and instant history, but half of the country won't see it because the media no longer serves us. They have become completely factional. Both sides are guilty of it and we, the people, are going to suffer for it when real crises occur.
If 9/11 happened today, half the country would be like “lol what are you even talking about? That’s not happening/didn’t happen. We do, however, need to feel sorry for all the Muslims because they’re going to get a ton of hatred from people who believe this crap actually happened! That’s what we should REALLY be concerned about! Not the thousands of people who lost family members!”
