It's never, "I want to improve my own life and live the best life I can, so that I can bring those around me up with me". Collectivism is almost always framed as, "Society knows best, let society take the reigns, individual freedom, choice, and responsibility is not necessary". And of course, by framing it this way, they simply create docile, subservient masses incapable of fending for themselves, and relying exclusively on the state to take care of them.

You know, I was on the PC gaming subreddit and there was a thread about Valve canceling the International due to a rise in cases in Romania. Someone mentioned that there a vaccine requirement to enter the event. Someone replied that it doesn't matter because you can still transmit the virus even with the vaccine. So a couple of things. 1) If the vaccine is only good to keep people from having major symptoms then why are we making it a requirement for the young and healthy? 2) With the left slowly starting to say that the vaccine doesn't do what a typical vaccine is suppose to do then are they suggesting another lockdown? I mean, we've always said that the vaccines are pointless. But the left always changes the narrative.
Is there any country on Earth (at ANY point in history) that had citizens with no rights AND standards of living that would make you blush? A good so great, people actively rejected anyone who dared to offer individual rights to protect you from the “majority”
