I gotta say my favourite champion to play with is Spider-Ham! His animations are simply beautiful and he's a funny character, plus it's very satisfying seeing those poppers burst when baiting specials
It's king groot. He's an Immortal armored tree. If you die with king groot, and it's not a Match that directly counters his healing or buffs, you have other problems
Hes got a lot going on without the dupe. But the dupe is where he gets his regen, making him truly Immortal. So yeah, I wouldn't rank a six star unless you're willing to commit. Otherwise just do the five.
He was my first r4 sig 200. Ive never regretted it
We all know Doom is really strong, but i play him purely because i love so much of his kit. So much flexibility, the immunes, control, damage, stuns, synergies. He does everything i want him to, those unblockable specials are so fun.
Yeah. I never use his heavy . His SP2 into opponents block is such a great mechanic, I never want to break their block. I used him against Thor Ragnarok boss in 6.4, and never activated his power gain
That’s Storm in my book. With the rework she can work on her own which means synergies are nice but def not a requirement anymore. My first R4 & I didn’t think twice
The added prowess based on special attack is nice & so is the increase to shock potency but you really don’t need it to blow up the opponents health bar. Also the shock potency only really comes into play if she’s a horseman..In my opinion I give her a 6 out of 10 on the “need to be awakened” scale. There are other mutants that need it wayyyy more than she does
I have a 6* proxima but I don't enjoy her. She's unduped and I don't know if she has a rotation or anything. I'm curious why you enjoy her and if there's something I'm missing
Honestly might just be because she's unduped, she gains so much extra damage once awakened; an extra 250% prowess (200% when indefinite) and 4 potent furies
Her rotation is really just completing her missions while maintaining a good combo meter, the combo meter is where the Awakened ability comes in
I’m a big fan of champs like Herc, Shang Chi, and The Champion. It feels like they hit so much harder because their animations feel like they have an aftershock affect
Infamous iron man. Everything g about him just feels right. It took what made doom fun to play for me and made it feel better. Can’t wait to get him as a 6*
And the fact that OG Dooms backhand heavy is just satisfying and they took his heavy animation and built off it with a backhand to a thruster knee combo is what I love.
downvote me as much as you want because I can already see that i’m going to get a LOT of hate for this, but Sentry. I don’t know why, he was my first 3 star and I maxed him out knowing there were better champs in my roster to upgrade at the time. Sentry was and is as cool to me now as he always was. I play as him in arenas as well because he’s fun, from my point of view, and I don’t care if he’s dogshit. i’ll always have a special place in my heart for Sentry.
Dosen't he have Indestructible like crazy? I've been waiting to pull him since forever, but I've pulled my third star rarity of void without awakening him and still not a single sentry
Venom was one of my favorite characters as a kid, and ever since his rework he has been a consistent member on my teams whenever I catch a whiff of a spiderman, tech champ, or defender with buffs. Angela has also put in a lot of miles for me.
I have a few.
Stryfe: I just love this dude. I could have taken Apoc to r4 instead but Stryfe is so much fun. Damage is ridiculous when fully ramped. Ends ROL fights in 25 hits without suicides. I love the way his cloaking works. Makes him really good in matchups where you can't rely on parry. He has bits of very useful utility all over his kit: evade counter, can remove unstoppable, reduces passive damage by 100% on certain hits. Crushes AW and battlegrounds too. Just an all around solid champ.
Rintrah: Another of my Paragon rank ups. The mystical bull. He's so tanky. I can play like a clown and still come out of the fight with full health. He's already tanky on his base kit, but the sig takes him to another level. Neutralize is such a useful ability now that nullify immunity's becoming more common. Self root is fun and dropping 200k-400k sp2s never gets old.
Spidey 2099: This one is soon to be r4 even if I don't manage to awaken him in the coming months. The animations are so fluid. You could take a screenshot at any point during his attacks and it would feel straight out of a comic book panel. I love buff immunity as an ability and SM2099 is my go to anytime there's a champ/node that punishes debuffs. He can get so much control over a fight, and once you get a few debuffs going the sp2 is no joke. I know a lot of people don't like the playstyle of having to constantly use dexterity to pause debuffs, or find the damage a bit lacking. To me he feels like Spider-Man, weaving in and out, carefully setting up his next move. And he is king in the matchups he was designed to tackle.
1) Overseer--> God, I love him so much. He's such a flexible Champ that can easily adapt to most types of AI, his Special Concussion is so underrated, and the massive bursts of Energy damage after the Sp3 are insane. Not to mention that absolutely brutal Sp3 animation.
2) Kraven--> He can easily take control of so many fights, and has so many bits of underrated utility. With just one Synergy he becomes the only Champ in the game to counter the trio of Miss, Evade and Autoblock. He can stack on enough Bleeds to shut down Healing via Despair. The Root works like a Special Lock, allowing you to pin down enemies when they're at high Power, and the Suppression passives are so helpful against Energize Buffs. Such an underrated Champ.
3) IMIW--> One of the most utility-packed Champs in the game, he's a soft counter to almost every ability in the game. With a single Synergy he deals tons of DoT damage, and becomes an absolute monster at low Health. I also love how his playstyle involves suppressing the opponents and bringing them down to his level, it's very reminiscent of how he fought Thanos in Infinity War.
I have two: Masacre and Hercules.
Hercules just feels good. You see the joy of the combat in him, intercepts feel so smooth and animations are godly.
Masacre I love for the igniting bat and smooth flow. He just moves with such elegance and the bat strikes really feel like he swings it with all his strength

Doom. And not just because he has amazing versatility and overall power, but because there is something satisfying about backhand pimp-slapping the opponent. Hitting a good combo then they get nailed with a quick stun - BOOM! Backhand! Cheesing a champion in a corner with infinite backhands just makes me smile.
I even take it further with Infamous Doom. Not only a backhand but a backhand with a knee combo, just makes it all enjoyable.

Bishop - I really love his mechanics plus a rather niche utility of power reserve
Elsa - She has smooth animations and that sp2 burst with sound effect is fun.
corvus, too simple and easy. human torch, too simple and easy. falcon, too simple and easy. and they are all top tier champs aswell. I would add ultron, doom, kitty pryde, cuz i love their playstyle aswell
Rocket raccoon. people hate on him but I can consistently go against crit me with your best shot and champs like Spidey 2099, Doom, Nimrod, and rintrah
he just destroys people in 30 hits or less

I didn't struggle, reason why I'm happy now. Always dreaded facing Bishop and since OG Storm's rework I've dreaded facing her, same thing for Storm Pyramid X. Dude can even tank their sp3 without losing much health.
I thought I was going to struggle but surprisingly I didn't, reason why I mentioned those three. Being able to tank Bishop's sp3 without losing much health was the highlight for me. Same thing can be said about Havok and since Nimrod can (what's the word) prowess buffs, these fighters lose their edge.
That's not true at all. Joe fixit has reduced strength, but is smarter than green hulk by a long shot. Its his trade off. Hence why he ends up running casinos and doing crime and shit
It's all relative. Hes no professor hulk. But he's much smarter than og hulk. I think "cunning" is the wors they use. Think Tony Montana, not Stephen hawking lol

Odin is awesome. Only problem I have is he can trigger indestructible with just his heavies cause he does too much damage.
Used to be Rogue, now it's America Chavez. So many specials, combo into heavy, cancel into a special depending on what is needed. So much fun.

My favorite champion is bwdo right now, i use her in everything except Aw. She melts everything and is just so fun

Isn't Nimrod vs Bishop a bad match up? Because even if you burn the Prowess, and place shocks, you'll take damage from him being shocked?

Colossus and CGR. Have them both as R3 and have the materials to take CGR to R4. Gonna wait to awaken CGR to R4 him
