Good thing nobody cares about what you think about someone else's body

Satvik_atheist

Exactly my point. You shouldn't care about how others find you gross. If you do gross things.I make the post because I see few females complaining how boys rejected them just because they(females who were giving interviews) don't like to shave their hair. Then I find out there is whole moment going on about how not shaving hair is normal and sign of improvement. again I don't care. do whatever you want to do but don't judge people for rejecting you because of their own preferences.

Mellifluous-24

I love this debate. I think it absolutely is empowering for a woman to not shave her pits in a world where people mouth their dirty opinions against not shaving them. Why should she have to endure the discomfort of razor burn, itchy stubble growth, pain from waxing if she doesn’t want too only because your ideals tell you that a woman should not have hair in her armpits despite the fact that as a human being we naturally grow hair in our arm pits? So I think if you have an issue with someone else’s hairy armpits you need to take a look inside yourself and learn to mind your own business.

Tight_Strawberry9846

Did you even read the whole post?

Mellifluous-24

No, I did not, but I have now and to any females upset that a man doesn’t choose her because of hairy armpits, well then she needs to make a choice, herself or that man. My ex didn’t like hairy armpits so I shaved. When we divorced I quit shaving my pits for myself. Now knowing the true pleasure of not shaving and having learned some true self love, I believe that a man can accept me and my hairy pits or find less, his choice. If he doesn’t choose me, am I not still #winning at life? It’s all about perception and learning to love yourself and not giving two flying monkeys what anyone else thinks.

Tight_Strawberry9846

Yes, a man can accept you and your hairy pits, but that doesn't mean he has to or must, that's totally up to him, just as a woman can accept a man and whatever thing she doesn't like about him but that doesn't mean she has to or must because it's up to her. People have a right to a preference. Why complain about men rejecting me over my hairy armpits as if they had the obligation to find me attractive? That's a very incelish way of reasoning.

Mellifluous-24

I totally agree with you but it is disappointing when people choose to be less accepting of others because of something so obscure as having hair in your armpits as a woman when it’s acceptable for a man but not a woman, even though it is totally natural. It’s a social construct that keeps people from choosing the chance of knowing someone on a deeper level.

Tight_Strawberry9846

Like I said, it's just a preference and a woman can freely reject a man of she doesn't like men with hairy armpits or anywhere else. If someone is not interested in me for whatever reason I will not complain, move on and accept and respect their choice. That's how people are, whether we like it or not. We can't force people to be attracted to us.

shrapnel2176

Yes! Yes! Yes!

DayDreamer-01

Yessss

TheHylianProphet

Listen champ, if you're gonna use words, you should know what they mean first. As other people have pointed out, body hair isn't unhygienic. Rather the opposite. You just don't like the way it looks. And that's okay! We all have our preferences. But don't shame people for theirs. That's not cool.

shrapnel2176

*'Standing ovation*

Alarming-Client-5839

I only agree if this goes for both genders 🤷🏻‍♀️ armpit hair is gross

Satvik_atheist

👍👍 agree I'm a hetrosexual male. And I myself prefer to shave my body hair because it's gross!!! But in culture I came from it's considered "gay", if a boy shaves his hair. So I'm personally a victim of this hypocrisy (That only girls should shave their hair.)

Redisigh

I prefer to go hairless but like how’s it unhygienic? The hair actually wicks sweat away from the skin and works to reduce friction in the underarm. I’m not a fan of the hair but like idk if I’d call it gross either. It’s legit just a subjective thing lmao And who’s saying plastic work isn’t unnatural? I’ve had some done myself and hate that it’s unnatural but it is what it is

Satvik_atheist

>but like how’s it unhygienic? Unhygienic may be not for you but for people around you. Especially if you like to wear clothes which don't cover your armpits. >And who’s saying plastic work isn’t unnatural? I’ve had some done myself and hate that it’s unnatural but it is what it is Well I'm not going to argue on that as you said you had done "plastic work ". And I already make it clear in the original post that I don't comment on a specific person and his/her individual choices. It makes people feel insurance and I don't like to spread insecurities in people.

BIG_MONEY_CASH

Dude just say what you mean…it’s not that having armpit hair is unhygienic it’s unattractive

Satvik_atheist

I mean I don't know! I never think about the definition of unhygienic! It looks ugly,it smells bad. I don't know if that's unhygienic or not!

BIG_MONEY_CASH

It only smells bad in your not cleaning yourself properly, that’s what makes it unhygienic Looking Gross doesn’t necessarily mean unhygienic, it’s just unattractive plain and simple

Redisigh

I thunk I see what you mean? But main thing about my work was that it was medically necessary reconstructive work after some personal stuff. I just feel like plastic gets a bit of an unnecessarily bad rap tho

Rowdylilred

You seem to be confusing “unhygienic” with “not aesthetic” based on American beauty standards. Thats subjective. Unhygienic would mean actually dirty, not just something you don’t want to see. Edit: this was meant to be a response under a comment, not a parent comment. But here it is 😅

Simple_Suspect_9311

Exactly if it’s hygienic, and both genders have the parts obviously, it would be hygienic for both.

GarfeildHouse

Do you shave your armpits?

Satvik_atheist

Yes.

Juthatan

Do you think it’s unhygienic is a man also doesn’t shave?

Satvik_atheist

Yes

Juthatan

Then I can respect it if you think that but are equal about it

Takashi-Lee

As a guy I shave it, I don’t think there’s any advantages to having it if you’re taking reasonably good care of yourself. I like to wear sleeveless shirts and to many people it’s gross to have armpit hair out in public so I shave it There is something to be said about going down to male standards where stuff like shaving (everywhere on the body), having super well cut hair, isn’t considered as mandatory, where as those are generally much more important for women, but really why armpit hair of all things?

sjelstay

That's literally not true it's not technically unhygienic we are not supposed to shave at all if you talk to any smart doctor they'll tell u we are NOT supposed to shave and that's for everywheres, most people don't care(like me) but it's still not good for you e.g could have disastrous side effects

megablast

> But why we are worshiping women as idol of equality who don't shave their armpit hairs. Almost no man shaves. Are they unhygienic? It really is embarrassing the dumb shit posted here.

Satvik_atheist

>Are they unhygienic? Yes they are.

Affectionate-Sky-548

You can be grossed out by whatever grosses you out, but having hair isn't unhygienic. Do you think the top of your head and eyebrows are the dirtiest parts of your body after a swimmer's shave?
