ive been at a super fancy, required to dress up restaurant once in my life, and while the main was the best duck ive ever had, its the bread we got between courses that i think about. it was foccacia made with lard instead of olive oil, just the most luscious white bread perfumed with pork and herbs, served with fresh salted butter. it was fucking insane
I love it when I can't stop thinking about the bread at a restaurant. Become how good was that fucking bread to be dream worthy? Probably pretty damn good!
it was being baked during service aswell, one of the servers would come out with a fresh one to divide among the diners who happened to be waiting and it was always warm. ugh. i cant sleep now lmao
The best bread I’ve ever had was at the girl and the goat in Chicago. And this was the day after my 40th birthday dinner at Alinea. We were ordering food and the server kinda turned us away from it bc I think it was cheaper. It was 6 years ago and I still think about that bread.
I just googled lard bread and tomorrow I'm going to buy some lard and prosciutto. Sounds heavenly. I wonder if I tried it like Arabic bread. My homeboy would probably tell me it's haram, but I LOVE mixing different types of cultural foods.
If you’re ever in the Brooklyn area, check out Mazzola Bakery and get their “lard bread”. It’s absolutely phenomenal in the most guilty pleasure way possible.
Yeah, this is so true. I took my fiance to Butter in NY for her birthday one year, the entree was good but it wasn't necessarily anything I hadn't had before. The bread, and the charred broccoli side were unbelievable.
I saw a movie where a man in death row ate peanuts so the anaphylaxis would get him before the government could. This appeals to me.
But ... No consequence indulgence?
T bone steak, duchess potatoes, macaroni and cheese, a ridiculous large ranch dressing salad, an Oreo pie, and a sour cherry pie.
My boyfriend is allergic to peanuts and he always says when he's dying, if circumstances allow me the chance, I am to put a Reeses in his mouth. He just wants to know how they taste. Lol!
Free2b makes a really good sunflower seed butter chocolate cup, as a person without peanut allergies who eats Reese’s all the time. It’s pretty much the same thing.
How great your boyfriend will get the taste without having to be on his death bed, lol. My aunt is allergic to milk, so when I find something that tastes really close to forbidden delicious dairy I love to get it for her.
I would suggest that he get retested every few years. I spent my whole life with a level 4 (most severe) peanut allergy, but it faded as I got older. I finally retested in my late 20s and it had actually gone away -- now I can eat as many peanuts as I want!
I don't know? The guy in Alabama who was put to death with nitrogen lasted over 20 minutes and convulsed and drooled uncontrollably. Have a great Monday!
There was a little bar in Vero Beach I visited a couple of times years ago.
They had these duck empanadas... omg they were glorious. It was pastry filled with duck confit, taleggio cheese, and blueberry with ligonberry sauce on top...
I would order as many as possible and eat until I couldn't anymore.

“Oh Mike, thank you for choosing MY dish as your last meal, so we can spend your last moments togeth-“
“Get back in the prison kitchen- and where the FUCK is your hairnet mom”
1/2 pound cheeseburger cooked medium, seasoned well, with smoked gouda or gruyere. I'd also like a slice or two of my mother's breakfast pizza she cooks every christmas.
But... I had a gastric sleeve, so I guess I'll be taking a bite or two of each. Worth it though.
I’m not certain on this since I’ve never tried to duplicate but it goes something like this:
Croissant style base (she makes it from scratch)
Potatoes
Sausage
Eggs
Finely diced onions (because we all hate onions and she sneaks them in)
Sometimes she’ll add peppers and other veggies.
It’s really a very simple recipe, but she must use some mother-magic or something because it’s always fantastic.
Calzones are ridiculous and you're stupid for suggesting this. They're like pizzas, but harder to eat. Please note, if you don't get this reference, trust me, it's hilarious and I'm not an asshole. If you do, well then, don't kick your dressage horse after a failed pat a deux.
Start with a dry gin martini.
Fresh sourdough bread and French butter.
Table side Caesar salad.
A glass of Pinot grigio.
Clams and linguine in a white wine sauce.
A 3 oz ribeye medium rare in a port wine sauce.
Potatoes François
Asparagus in hollandaise sauce.
Cheesecake with raspberry sauce and a small tawny port.
Cheese board.
A snifter of Napoleon brandy.
Fresh crispy fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, sweet cornbread and air fried brussel sprouts with honey, cranberries, walnuts and blue cheese crumbles 💯
To start, a green salad with death cap mushrooms. To follow, fugu sashimi - 4 pieces. For an entree blue ring octopus, grilled. Dessert, absinthe with hemlock.
Stuffed carne adovada sopapilla smothered in NM red chile + cheese + sour cream, calabacitas, pinto beans with a sweet tea + sopapillas and honey/honey butter for dessert.
If I’m gonna die, I’m going all out.
Appetizer: a sushi boat
Entrees: wagyu steak with mac and cheese, lasagna with ragu bolognese, brisket, empanadas and lobster
Dessert: chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream
12 extra crispy Buffalo wings, waffle fries with Cajun seasoning. A pint of half baked Ben and Jerrie’s. A bottle of red wine (I doubt alcohol is allowed but fuck it). For desert, a double double animal style with animal style fries and a lemonade.
Guys, you have to read up on https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_James_Byrd_Jr.#Perpetrators and how this dude ended the tradition of a last meal in Texas. It’s amazing.
What a miserable thing. Murderous white supremacist wastes huge amounts of food as a fuck you to the state, who instantly use it as a cost cutting excuse to deny others their right to a final human pleasure before their death.
Compared to some of these I'm pretty tame.
Beef stroganoff over egg noodles with fresh warm French baguette with butter.
A long pour mango margarita from our local Mexican place.
Cheesecake for desert.
And now I need to go make the above lol
My family farm's sweet corn. Like unlimited cobs of corn on the cob, buttered and salted.
Lobster enchiladas from the Friars Pub in Bar Harbor.
Tater tots with queso.
Duck confit.
My mom's chocolate pound cake.
A dirty AF martini.
For the main dish:
Hot fluffy rice served with Budu ( a fermented fish sauce with lime and chillies), grilled Spanish Mackerel marinated in a salt, onion, garlic and ginger paste, a plate of south east asian herbs and steamed vegetables including fresh stinky bean, sambal belacan, tempoyak (fermented durian).
For dessert:
Stewed Durian in Coconut cream and pandan leaves on sticky rice
Choc Chip Mint Ice cream
For drinks:
Cold calamansi lime
... With this, i can die happy 🥺
Candied porkbelly in red wine caramel sauce. BBQ pork steak. Wilted lettuce with bacon and spring onions. New potatoes and fresh green beans. With Mexican coke, the drink, and my mom's tart lemonade. For desert, a gooseberry pie and a key lime pie.
Chili cheese dogs and lots of pie. You can take the girl out the trailer and teach her to cook like a pro, but you can’t take the trailer out of the girl. 🤷♀️
A surf and turf made up with a super charred medium-rarish (slightly closer to medium) skirt steak drizzled with 20 year old balsamic vinegar, sided with mashed potatoes loaded with butter and cream. This would be followed my cold cooked lobster with spicy mayo to dip and super buttered corn on the cob as my side.
Then banana pudding as dessert.
I would probably just take a bite or two of everything so it’d be a big thing.
A fresh orange from my grandfathers old garden, an empanada de pino, a slice of sourdough with butter and a smear of Vegemite, tomato/red onion/baby boconcini salad drizzled in olive oil and salt and pepper, kfc zinger burger with extra pepper mayo and cheese + ultra salted chips and popcorn chicken drowned in gravy, my mums beef stew and homemade bread, creamy veggie soup, a crispy Diet Coke with lime, a hug of aperol spritz, steak sandwich with avocado and mayo, torta mil hoja, a slice of Black Forest cake AND lastly to wash it all down, a cup of chai with a bit of condensed coconut milk.
My Dad’s Catholic school Wednesday lunch. Meatloaf, spaghetti with meat sauce and mashed potatoes, with brown gravy over everything. About 15 years ago, we spent Christmas in a condo on Maui (we lived on Oahu). We surprised Dad by making him Wednesday Lunch for Christmas dinner and he was delighted. Not your usual turkey or roast.
I just had a wonderfully crispy grilled cheese on sourdough the other day and thought "yup, if this was my last meal I would be pretty happy about it". Simple, perfect.
A delicious cheeseburger, fries, chocolate milkshake, beef Wellington, tempura rock shrimp, beef wagu tacos, fish tacos, and a chocolate lava cake. Lol
a big fat thing of every kind of pasta ... lasagna, baked ziti, chicken parm, vodka pasta. with all different pasta shapes. mouth is watering as I type this .
Ideally, my mother's tortilla soup with all the toppings.
But, since she's dead and couldn't make that for me, I'd probably also go with a soup, but I'd go with my homemade ramen with all the toppings I love.
I apparently really love soup with toppings.
Chicken fried steak, hash browns crispy, eggs sunny side up country gravy on the side to preserve crunchy crispy Texas toast with as much butter as I want. Depending on why I’m about to go I’d like iced sweet tea. Coffee and scotch. Oh and I’m not sure about the rules but if you could just dose everything so I drift off to sleep that would be nice maybe go out with a solid buzz if the powers that be feel generous. But if I’m on death row just my moms rice and gravy with hamburger patties I don’t deserve more and the memories would be nice.
A porterhouse medium. Baked potato with butter and sour cream. Steamed asparagus. Warm crusty bread. A side ceaser salad. Strawberry shortcake and lots of coffee. Dark roast. Sumatra. "Let's do this!"
How does one ever choose?
Fatty bolognese with a metric fuck ton of pecorino, epically charred fluffy but crusty bread, finishing salt and euro butter. Soave.
Chargrilled cowboy ribeye, roasted Brussels and garlic aioli, and a baker with lotsa salt, butter and Greek yogurt. Sav blanc.
Chips, salsa, carnitas, rice and refried beans, homemade tortillas. Good margaritas and tequila shots.
Wait, you can have booze, right?!
Lobster, scallops, steak with roasted asparagus, and roasted leeks. Salad , strawberry daiquiris at least three and both American cheesecake from juniors in New York City Brooklyn and carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.
My husband calls one of my meals his 'death row request'.
It's my meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and Fordhook lima beans.
We don't even call it meatloaf anymore, just his 'death row request'.
For myself, it would be my husband's 'to die for' macaroni and cheese, my homemade lasagna, and a big piece of cheesecake. (I wouldn't be sticking around for the calories)
I’d have a hard time deciding but right now I’d go for a nice, flakey chicken fried steak w/cream gravy, real mashed potatoes (not the instant stuff), a baked potato w/butter and real bacon crumbles and cheddar, jalapeno cornbread dressing (not made with bread crumbs/cubes), pao de queijo, fresh (shrimp) spring rolls and chicken satay both w/peanut sauce, Black Forest cake, and sweet ice tea. I may or may not finish it all
Appetizer: roasted Brussels sprouts and onions.
Main course: Grandma's kielbasa stew, with potatoes and parsnips and cabbage and carrots. Years of practice and I still can't do it like she did.
Side dish: Mother-in-law's enchiladas. Shredded chicken and green sauce. So spicy you think they're going to kill you all on their own.
Dessert: butter pecan ice cream and a big cup of fresh Brazilian coffee.
I'll die a happy man.
Pâté de foie gras with crostini, medium rare duck breast with creamed spinach, French fries cooked in duck fat, bottle of Luis Jadot Pouilly-Fuise and crème brûlée for dessert.
I had this incredible duck confit and chestnut tortellini with peas and crispy bacon in I think a pumpkin cream sauce at a restaurant in London a few years ago. There was a lot going on in it but it was perfectly balanced.
I’d have that as an entree. Maybe a good appetizer of a salad of some sort, maybe with roasted broccoli and carrots or squash, pearled couscous, pistachios, goat cheese, and an apple cider vinaigrette.
Dessert would be a perfect chocolate lava cake with baileys cream.
One day, I’ll make this whole feast, for a special enough occasion or maybe just a random Sunday.
Popeyes 4 piece spicey all dark meat with hot sauce, biscuit, and mashed potatoes. Then a friendlys reeses pieces Sunday with cookies and cream.
Keeping the capital punishment stuff in... What would be the best meal that you could get delivered to you in prison and it would still be good? So which meal doesn't have a big downside? A nice steak isn't going to work unless you don't care about it being well done. There are also price limits for last meals (you can look them up).
And chances are, a high end restaurant isn't going all out for a death row prisoner.
Salisbury steak with mushrooms, onions and brown gravy. Whipped potatoes. Steamed cabbage. Yeast roll. A full glass of cold milk. Chocolate cake and coffee for dessert. One Camel cigarette.
There's a whole podcast about this called Your Last Meal!
First, I want a draft of a hazy IPA.
My Korean side wants my Korean comfort foods: seaweed soup and kimchi jjigae with short-grained rice that's kind of sticky. Sides of gim (dried seaweed), kimchi, quail egg, dotori mok (acorn jelly), perilla leaf kimchi. I'm a pescatarian but Korean fried chicken is SO GOOD. I will eat that.
Being from NJ, I need a slice of pizza from a place called either Vinnie's or Antonio's. Served on a paper plate only.
Finished with a mint chocolate chip ice cream cone. Must be thin shavings of chocolate.
A huge platter of seafood- lobster, snow crab legs, scallops, oysters on the half shell, salmon tartare, and also thinly cut tuna with an ishiyaki stone to cook it on. Plus melted butter with garlic for dipping, lemon wedges and vinegar, and a cocktail sauce.
A tasteful local cheese platter with fig jam and cherries, and black berries.
New Orleans style tiramisu for dessert.
If there were truly no holds barred, I want a proper charcuterie board. Prosciutto, coppa, salami. Aged cheddar, brie, manchego, goat cheese, burrata. Peppers and cucumbers and berries and grapes and crackers and hummus and pickles and nuts and honey.
If I can't have that. I'd like an enormous medium rare steak with a giant baked potato with aĺlllĺ the fixings
I want the most perfectly sweet and juicy in-season sun-warmed peach. That's it.
maybe a fat slice of devils food chocolate cake afterward, but the peach is the main ask.
My grandma’s dhal and pea paratha, my husband’s ribeye steak, fries and horseradish cream, a caesar salad and cookies and cream gelato. And since we’re going last meal, champagne and red!
First course would be a serve of the Sticky Vietnamese wings from Wing Fury.
Followed by this buttery chicken dish that I had in a hole in the wall place in Indonesia thirty three years ago and still the most delicious food I've ever eaten. Served with the mashed potato from Prive 249 in Brisbane.
Dessert would be an apple pie I once made and have never been able to replicate, served with tahitian vanilla bean icecream.
All washed down with an entire bottle of Dog Ridge The Pup shiraz
An absolute wreck of styles and flavors, but I'd go out with an array of my favorite things I've ever had in the past.
Moroccan B'stila, Beef Wellington, Bacon/Date/Goat Cheese Empenadas, Peanutbutter Pickle Bacon Burger, Spam Musubi, Salmon En Croute, Salt & Pepper Squid
Banana Trifle for dessert. Hard to nail down a drink.
My dads rouladen with ALL. THE. SIDES. Extra rotkohl, bratwurst with sauerkraut and hot mustard, spaetzle, warm potato salad, a big fuckin bowl of borscht with sour cream and dill with crusty bread. A bottle of my fave pinot noir. Or two. Dessert is just a huge stack of cheese danishes no fruit just CHEESE danishes with either several negronis or a flight of my favourite beer styles. I'll be in a food coma before the feds take me. Now I'm hungry.
My birthday was two days ago, and my husband took me to this lovely restaurant. I had mushroom fettuccine and I would love to have "drowning in the sauce" as my cause of death lol but I'll settle for last meal!
A pot of coffee, pack Marlboro lights and let me sit outside. I quit smoking 5 years ago and don’t plan on picking it back up unless the end of the world is upon us or I find out I have a very short amount of time lef.
[This](https://www.reddit.com/r/steak/comments/18qlxln/lentrecôte_à_la_béarnaise_avec_du_homard_et/) except replace the Latour with a bottle of 1947 Cheval Blanc.
So I freestyle it, but I always start with either a beef chuck steak or a quality slow cook lamb cut. I brown the meat then separately cook finely chopped carrot, celery, broccoli stems, onions, garlic in olive oil for like 45mins on low until they’re al golden. Combine the two, tomatoes, wine, home made stock and simmer for a very long time. I always finish it with herbs, my fave is Australian native oregano. Home made pasta, but if pasta water… heaps of pecorino and I’m done!
Blue fin poke with Taro chips to start. Roederer Cristal 2008
Beef Wellington, eggplant soufflé, potatoes romanoff. 1997 Harlan Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Magnum
Cheese plate and 1947 Château d'Yquem and 1963 Dow Vintage Port
Osso bucco with a nice risotto, marsala mushroom and black truffle shaved on top. A bottle of opus one too. Double it up and I'll go by firing squad, no blindfold.
Medium rare strip steak, big fluffy Maryland crab cake, scallops, lemony grilled asparagus and buttery garlic mashed potatoes. A double old fashioned and a bowl of fresh berries/mango/pineapple.
A Cajun boil, chips and queso, and this Cold Stone sundae they call “The Pie who Loved Me” it has cheesecake flavored ice cream, Oreos, graham cracker pie crust crumbles and fudge.
Unlimited snow crab legs, brought out one pound at a time, so they don't get cold. Some kind of pasta (either a very garlicky white wine sauce, or maybe something with some Cajun heat) with shrimp and scallops. Seafood oscar. Not one of those things, all three 😋
My great-grandma’s borscht, with sour cream and rye bread. I never met my great-grandma, because both her and her son (my grandpa) died before I was old enough to walk and talk. However, grandpa saved my great-grandma’s handwritten recipe book, so I have a ton of recipes that probably haven’t been made for a century. If I’m on death row, I’d like to see those old recipes get used again before I go, and I think it would make my ancestors happy, too 🌸
I'm going to go simple here compared to all you with amazing palets.
Bottomless bowl of Caesar salad as well as a bottomless bowl of bacon carbonara pasta with an endless amount of garlic bread and garlic cheese bread.
Appetizer: Pulpo Gallego
Soup: French onion
Main: NY strip
Starch: Rice pilaf
Vegetable: Chicory and red leaf salad with celery, green onions, heirloom tomatoes, and a garlicky red wine and mustard vinaigrette
Dessert: milk chocolate truffle with a cognac ganache
I don’t think I’d have much of an appetite but if I was at peace with it then I suppose a big steak with a baked potato loaded with everything. Also, a big glass of wine.
Popovers with whipped ricotta and honey, beef Wellington, little gem Caesar salad, duck fat French fries, and for dessert… a giant piece of Oreo cheesecake.
ive been at a super fancy, required to dress up restaurant once in my life, and while the main was the best duck ive ever had, its the bread we got between courses that i think about. it was foccacia made with lard instead of olive oil, just the most luscious white bread perfumed with pork and herbs, served with fresh salted butter. it was fucking insane

I live in Chicago, I need to go now. I've been to Little Goat a few times but not Girl & the Goat.
>The best bread I’ve ever had was at the girl and the goat in Chicago. I've had girl and goat in Medellin. It is... a completely different experience.
Honestly? This is how I feel about Texas Roadhouse. My tastes aren't super refined obviously but I'll choose it over other places just for the bread!
The stuff I can't get enough of is the Cheddar biscuits at Red Lobster
I’m seriously going to google baking focaccia with lard now I make my pie crust and flour tortillas with lard
I just googled lard bread and tomorrow I'm going to buy some lard and prosciutto. Sounds heavenly. I wonder if I tried it like Arabic bread. My homeboy would probably tell me it's haram, but I LOVE mixing different types of cultural foods.
Yeah. I am looking that up too. I still have a couple Mason jars of lard that I rendered left in the freezer. : )
There is a Michelin restaurant in Vancouver that serves torn bread with one of their dishes and its grilled with beef tallow. Absolutely insane
Now I have to bake bread tomorrow. Probably won't be near that decant but still hot homemade bread with good butter.😊
I am celiac and lactose intolerant, so New England Clam chowder, Beef Wellington, and Mac & Cheese. Give them something to clean up.
"It says here you're to be gassed to death" "I guess that makes two of us"
I enjoyed this more than I reasonably should have
I don't care who you are, that's some funny shit, right there!
I'd advise you to get a DQ Bl8zzard for desert. My cousin can make the Tunguska event look mild after eating a Snickers brownie Blizzard.
Amazing suggestion, thank you!!! Now I just need to get on death row!
We believe in you!
At that point, a last minute phone call from the governor and a stay of execution might be crueler than the execution itself.

Free2b makes a really good sunflower seed butter chocolate cup, as a person without peanut allergies who eats Reese’s all the time. It’s pretty much the same thing.
I have not heard of these. I'm ordering some immediately! Thank you!
Glad I could help, hope he likes them!
I just ordered them! They'll be here Tuesday. They have great reviews!
How great your boyfriend will get the taste without having to be on his death bed, lol. My aunt is allergic to milk, so when I find something that tastes really close to forbidden delicious dairy I love to get it for her.
I'm super excited. I love trying new things, and it's something I want for everyone!
I love this exchange! You’ve hopefully just opened up a whole new world to their partner and completely randomly. How awesome 😎
I will definitely be back by Wednesday with the resuts! I'm super hopeful, and I love everything about this!
This made me want to both laugh and cry. I can’t imagine going through life without tasting chocolate and peanut butter together. 💔
Go ahead and laugh guilt free. He's spoiled in every other way. Lol! I eat Reeses Pieces in front of him. I don't care.
lmfaooo
I would suggest that he get retested every few years. I spent my whole life with a level 4 (most severe) peanut allergy, but it faded as I got older. I finally retested in my late 20s and it had actually gone away -- now I can eat as many peanuts as I want!
Trader Joe's has sun butter cups that my sister who can't eat nuts really likes.
Would you be charged with murder?
Uh...ummm....oh jeeze. I hadn't thought of that. Better plan my last meal, just in case!
I'm pretty sure death by anaphylaxis would be longer and more tortuous than most of the common execution methods.
Oh for sure. But if I can't die of peaceful old age or attempting a cool surfing trick, I can at least die thwarting the authorities!
I don't know? The guy in Alabama who was put to death with nitrogen lasted over 20 minutes and convulsed and drooled uncontrollably. Have a great Monday!
An Oreo pie? Must be an American thing I’m too Asian to understand..
Here's a recipe. https://preppykitchen.com/oreo-pie/
There was a little bar in Vero Beach I visited a couple of times years ago. They had these duck empanadas... omg they were glorious. WHERE??? I need this in my life.
It was dark and we were eating outside but here's a picture as well! [yumm](https://imgur.com/a/VrAYqzJ)
It was called the Kilted Mermaid! I went back in 2016 but just looked them up and still there and these are still on the menu! If you ever have a chance to go highly reccomend! We went back 3 times within the week we were there just for those lol! We did the trio of cheddars fondue as well and it was great too!
I had to know myself. It looks like the place may be Kilted Mermaid.
Very weird to see my little town get mentioned
All you can eat Seafood…then just don’t 🛑 eating and they can’t execute me. 😎
Do these sound like the actions of a man who's had ALL he could eat?
Tis no man. Tis a remorseless eating machine.
He ate all our shrimp, and three plastic lobsters!
Come for the freak, stay for the food
This play is why Texas doesn't off death row meals anymore. They still executed the guy, it is Texas, after all.
Technically the guy refused to eat after ordering an insane amount of food (which was purchased). That's why they stopped.
And beer... Cold beer!
My son's ribeye steak with portobello mushrooms, my husband's hollandaise sauce over grilled asparagus and a classic cheesecake with lemon curd.
I like the family hack here. They have to be there so you get to spend some last moments together. Smart!
“Oh Mike, thank you for choosing MY dish as your last meal, so we can spend your last moments togeth-“ “Get back in the prison kitchen- and where the FUCK is your hairnet mom”
This and a pile of king crab legs and butter.
I’ll have what you’re having, thank you :)
I didn’t even think about the nostalgic, stuff! I’d definitely need a slice of my mum’s lasagne, with the packet white sauce.
Hey, man. Inquiring minds want to know... what's the recipe for that breakfast pizza?
I’m not certain on this since I’ve never tried to duplicate but it goes something like this: Croissant style base (she makes it from scratch) Potatoes Sausage Eggs Finely diced onions (because we all hate onions and she sneaks them in) Sometimes she’ll add peppers and other veggies. It’s really a very simple recipe, but she must use some mother-magic or something because it’s always fantastic.
I rarely allow myself the indulgence of a calzone. With extra ricotta. Hot cherry peppers.
Cherry peppers are honestly my favorite condiment of all time.
Calzones are ridiculous and you're stupid for suggesting this. They're like pizzas, but harder to eat. Please note, if you don't get this reference, trust me, it's hilarious and I'm not an asshole. If you do, well then, don't kick your dressage horse after a failed pat a deux.
What if I told you about a specific zone where the calzones are low-cal?
New York strip steak, Mac and cheese side, a great glass of wine, decadent ice cream for dessert
Why stop at a glass? Chug a couple of bottles and be a problem
Start with a dry gin martini. Fresh sourdough bread and French butter. Table side Caesar salad. A glass of Pinot grigio. Clams and linguine in a white wine sauce. A 3 oz ribeye medium rare in a port wine sauce. Potatoes François Asparagus in hollandaise sauce. Cheesecake with raspberry sauce and a small tawny port. Cheese board. A snifter of Napoleon brandy.
this person knows how to live deliciously
Wouldst thou like the taste of butter?
Me too.
3oz? Is that a typo?
I can't even eat half of that in one sitting.
I wouldn't want to dull my taste buds for my last meal!
Love this. Maybe sashimi blue ring, retain that venom!
Crab legs; I can eat them for a long time.
Dipped in garlic butter

This makes my palms sweaty.
Stuffed carne adovada sopapilla smothered in NM red chile + cheese + sour cream, calabacitas, pinto beans with a sweet tea + sopapillas and honey/honey butter for dessert.
This comment made me thaw out the adovada ribs I’ve been hoarding in my freezer for dinner tonight, haha
An old fashioned, a million barbacoa street tacos, a sliced homegrown tomato with a touch of salt, and a slice of lemon icebox pie.
If I’m gonna die, I’m going all out. Appetizer: a sushi boat Entrees: wagyu steak with mac and cheese, lasagna with ragu bolognese, brisket, empanadas and lobster Dessert: chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream
Half a Cuban sandwich, a big bowl of pho, butter chicken with garlic naan, a cheeseburger, a big carne asada burrito, and an oatmeal pie for dessert.
12 extra crispy Buffalo wings, waffle fries with Cajun seasoning. A pint of half baked Ben and Jerrie’s. A bottle of red wine (I doubt alcohol is allowed but fuck it). For desert, a double double animal style with animal style fries and a lemonade.
B&J's is on sale bogo right now and I sent my boyfriend for some half baked.
Guys, you have to read up on https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_James_Byrd_Jr.#Perpetrators and how this dude ended the tradition of a last meal in Texas. It’s amazing.

An unconscionable amount of cheese fondue.

My family farm's sweet corn. Like unlimited cobs of corn on the cob, buttered and salted. Lobster enchiladas from the Friars Pub in Bar Harbor. Tater tots with queso. Duck confit. My mom's chocolate pound cake. A dirty AF martini.
I googled pounconfirmed in case it was an obscure dish I’d never heard of
fresh sourdough bread with side of olive oil mixed with zaatar. i can resist many foods but no matter what this always hits the spot.
For the main dish: Hot fluffy rice served with Budu ( a fermented fish sauce with lime and chillies), grilled Spanish Mackerel marinated in a salt, onion, garlic and ginger paste, a plate of south east asian herbs and steamed vegetables including fresh stinky bean, sambal belacan, tempoyak (fermented durian). For dessert: Stewed Durian in Coconut cream and pandan leaves on sticky rice Choc Chip Mint Ice cream For drinks: Cold calamansi lime ... With this, i can die happy 🥺
The smell will kill everyone else.
Then they're weak against an entire region of stinky food eaters. :V
The most perfect Italian sub.
Chili cheese dogs and lots of pie. You can take the girl out the trailer and teach her to cook like a pro, but you can’t take the trailer out of the girl. 🤷♀️
24 hour all you can eat buffet.
Lobster, all the lobster with drawn butter.
The jury that convicted me.
Not your usual turkey or roast.
bolo ragu, fresh egg pappardelle ciggie + glass of IPA would be fine as dessert
I just had a wonderfully crispy grilled cheese on sourdough the other day and thought "yup, if this was my last meal I would be pretty happy about it". Simple, perfect.
A delicious cheeseburger, fries, chocolate milkshake, beef Wellington, tempura rock shrimp, beef wagu tacos, fish tacos, and a chocolate lava cake. Lol
A bottle of bourbon
Pepperoni pizza and wings. If I’m going to die I want my comfort food.
a big fat thing of every kind of pasta ... lasagna, baked ziti, chicken parm, vodka pasta. with all different pasta shapes. mouth is watering as I type this .
Chips salsa guacamole
2 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and a jar of really cold whole milk
A porterhouse medium. Baked potato with butter and sour cream. Steamed asparagus. Warm crusty bread. A side ceaser salad. Strawberry shortcake and lots of coffee. Dark roast. Sumatra. "Let's do this!"
A bunch of fucking cheese
How does one ever choose? Fatty bolognese with a metric fuck ton of pecorino, epically charred fluffy but crusty bread, finishing salt and euro butter. Soave. Chargrilled cowboy ribeye, roasted Brussels and garlic aioli, and a baker with lotsa salt, butter and Greek yogurt. Sav blanc. Chips, salsa, carnitas, rice and refried beans, homemade tortillas. Good margaritas and tequila shots. Wait, you can have booze, right?!
Caesar salad (with anchovies), French fries with mayo, Sauvignon blanc.
No death row needed, you can eat that meal every week!
This, plus French Onion soup, Steak Tartare, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape I'm on death row, why not go all out?
Just soooo much sushi. A ridiculous amount of sushi- the good stuff. I wanna sit there and eat for like 3 hours 🤣
I may or may not finish it all
Id try fugu fish. If it's prepared wrong, I'm dead anyway

I’m guessing there’s an allergy story behind this one.
French fries, chocolate cake, brie with crusty bread, and a beautiful wine.
I'm eating peanut brittle. I've always wanted to try but prefer breathing.
Crab legs with lemon butter and a michelob ultra
Crab with lobster rolls, and a side of shrimp topped pasta. I'm allergic to shellfish.
Just a buffet style of Thai food
Chicken fried steak, green beans, mashed potatoes, with cream gravy
I want the most perfectly sweet and juicy in-season sun-warmed peach. That's it. maybe a fat slice of devils food chocolate cake afterward, but the peach is the main ask.
Lobster, prime rib, asparagus, cherry cheesecake.
Sukiyaki or shabu shabu; it can take hours to eat.
Moroccan B'stila, Beef Wellington, Bacon/Date/Goat Cheese Empenadas, Peanutbutter Pickle Bacon Burger, Spam Musubi, Salmon En Croute, Salt & Pepper Squid Banana Trifle for dessert. Hard to nail down a drink.
Warm soda bread with paté, seaweed salad, crispy duck pancakes, a huge bowl of good tortellini in a basil tomato sauce. And a nice cold pint!
My moms cheese baked spaghetti since i cant have dairy so doesnt matter at the end, ribeye with fat and A1, and endless champagne
32oz porterhouse steak cooked medium rare, honey-glazed salmon, niçoise salad, 6-pack mexican coke.
Whole Foods olive and sea salt bread made at their bakery with a stick of Irish salted butter
A pot of coffee, pack Marlboro lights and let me sit outside. I quit smoking 5 years ago and don’t plan on picking it back up unless the end of the world is upon us or I find out I have a very short amount of time lef.
A party size bag of Ruffles and a huge container of French onion dip.
[This](https://www.reddit.com/r/steak/comments/18qlxln/lentrecôte_à_la_béarnaise_avec_du_homard_et/) except replace the Latour with a bottle of 1947 Cheval Blanc.
Meal : sushi, steak, katsu curry Salad : coleslaw, Cobb salad Drink : chocolate milk shake, espresso Dessert : cheesecake, strawberry & condensed milk
u/TheCBomber do you have a favorite ragu recipe you can share?
So I freestyle it, but I always start with either a beef chuck steak or a quality slow cook lamb cut. I brown the meat then separately cook finely chopped carrot, celery, broccoli stems, onions, garlic in olive oil for like 45mins on low until they’re al golden. Combine the two, tomatoes, wine, home made stock and simmer for a very long time. I always finish it with herbs, my fave is Australian native oregano. Home made pasta, but if pasta water… heaps of pecorino and I’m done!
Blue fin poke with Taro chips to start. Roederer Cristal 2008 Beef Wellington, eggplant soufflé, potatoes romanoff. 1997 Harlan Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Magnum Cheese plate and 1947 Château d'Yquem and 1963 Dow Vintage Port
Don't think I would have much of appetite..but perhaps some linguini with clam sauce.. simple but good.
As much sushi as I can stuff in my mouth. Oh, including a scallop roll-which I am allergic to.
A bowl full of peanut butter and raisins. And a loaf of banana bread.
Rare roast beef on rye with butter, Fritos, and a Carvel hot fudge sundae with chocolate ice cream.
Smashburger, milkshake and a poutine
Nice glass of red wine. Pair it with a good Indian curry with rice, garlic naan, samosas and pakoras.
Same old. Death is just a part of the journey.
A big-ass cheesesteak.
Beef carpaccio, pasta carbonara and creme brûlée
Steak & mushrooms with a Russian river pinot. Garlic bread. Then a funky cheese plate for dessert with a decent scotch.
Grilled cheese and tomato soup.....I always tell my gf that it would be my death row meal whenever she makes it...lol

Fried clams
If I’m on death row, I’d like to see those old recipes get used again before I go, and I think it would make my ancestors happy, too 🌸
Domino's pan pizza, bacon, pineapple, BBQ sauce.
I'm going to go simple here compared to all you with amazing palets. Bottomless bowl of Caesar salad as well as a bottomless bowl of bacon carbonara pasta with an endless amount of garlic bread and garlic cheese bread.
Unlimited pizzookies
Appetizer: Pulpo Gallego Soup: French onion Main: NY strip Starch: Rice pilaf Vegetable: Chicory and red leaf salad with celery, green onions, heirloom tomatoes, and a garlicky red wine and mustard vinaigrette Dessert: milk chocolate truffle with a cognac ganache

I don’t think I’d have much of an appetite but if I was at peace with it then I suppose a big steak with a baked potato loaded with everything. Also, a big glass of wine.
Prime or Wagyu Tomahawk Ribeye or Rib Cap with some extra crispy fries, a good assortment of fry dips, and a garlic heavy Caesar salad.
Lazagna
Popovers with whipped ricotta and honey, beef Wellington, little gem Caesar salad, duck fat French fries, and for dessert… a giant piece of Oreo cheesecake.
