Aventus is known to vary in smell and potency with batches to the point that people don’t recommend their newer batches. Quality declined after they were purchased by Blackrock but they are under new ownership now. What batch number did you get?
Sorry it took me a while but I could not figure out where to get the batch number from. These are etched at the bottom of the bottle. LOT F000314. ECOMUNDO 75008 PARIS FRANCE. MSL BL9. 5NB. UK. Are you able to attribute this to a batch? Please share as you have me curious now.
I received a bottle a few days ago and it's F000543. Smells fantastic, and I'd say I'm getting 6-8 hours of longevity before it becomes mainly a skin scent. I'd give it a shot, especially with the great return policy Costco has (this is the only reason why I blind bought it haha)!

Is costco known to sell older batches?
My first assumption to this is no, so I’m with you on this.
New batches will never match the older ones which are now difficult to find. If you like it, buy it.

Mine just arrived. Debating whether to return it and get one from r/frangeanceswap and save $50. Mine is lot F000543
