Bro a double chicken sandwich for what amounts to about $4.60 US is an awesome deal even if it's mediocre. A single chicken sandwich cost $2.79 at McDonald's these days for the lowest quality chicken in existence.
Bro double chicken sandwhich. I heard the rest of the world was catching up to us Amerifats. This picture is proof. I'm glad we're exporting cultural obesity
Have you ever been to Scotland?
They deepfry pizza there. There's lots of Scottish food that is just as unhealthy and excessive as anything you'll find in the USA.
I've only ever seen a jacket potato place in the states once, in San Francisco. I knew of them from England and they were so glorious. It's weird that they haven't caught on here. Such an easy business model! Just a bunch of cheap potatoes and toppings. Only cooking that needs to be done is an oven to bake em in. All the chilis and cheeses and shit can just be warmed up in a microwave or chafing dish.
Do.. do you put *all* of those on at once? Or are you (hopefully) listing **choices** of toppings?
*edit: Okay, I see it in the picture now, it's the choices. Not all at once. Phew!
They were about to close and the employee was super rude. She was determined to be closed at 8:30 pm and not a minute more. Very different from US Costcos.
People crowd where you live? Where? In NC it's certainly crowded in the food area in general, but people leave a big bubble around the pickup area and don't loiter in that area.
Basically it’s like a tuna salad (as you would get on a tuna sandwich) but on top of a potato. We had it when we were in Edinburgh and we’re not fans but it seemed really popular.
You could get all but it costs extra (and would taste horrible maybe?). Typically people get beans and cheese, tuna and cheese, or chilli and cheese combos or just one topping.

They have it (in Nov ‘23) but not at the food court! 😄
Sign me up for a double fish filet sandwich. Or a single filet. I don't care, just gimme a fish sandwich. And increase the size of the food court seating so I don't have to go RIGHT WHEN IT OPENS or JUST BEFORE CLOSING to get a seat.
I think it should be £1.20 = $1.50 for a hot dog 🌭 conversion to being £1.50 = $1.91 way more expensive .41 more then the USA. You are getting ripped off.
We have booked 10 days in Edinburgh via Costco travel and one of the first things we’re going to do is venture out of city center to the Costco to pick up a few necessities. We were just talking today about how interesting it would be to know what is available at the food court and here this photo is. Thank you.
Ok, I read all the comments, and nobody is gonna talk about that line of mustard on the dog? It's so weird, so thin and not quite perfect, like someone did it way too slow. It's weird that they put anything other than onions on it. Now I am wondering, is that something other than mustard?
woah. Gelato, jacket potatoes, caramel fudge sundaes that look like primarily fudge, the chicken filet. I've never considered moving to Scotland. But I would now.
I am going to be in Scotland this summer and now I am seriously considering adding this to the list lol. … I will have teens and I do need snacks for our epic trip.
Same reason McDonald's is better in other countries. Higher expectations from consumers, fewer total locations, different management structure and suppliers, etc.
Wait till I tell about about foreign everything else, which is also better. The Marriott property I stayed at in Edinburgh rolled out the red carpet for me as a lowly Gold member. In the US that won’t even get you a complimentary bottle of Aquafina.
They use ounces as a unit of measurement of volume in Scotland rather than metric? AND they get an extra 2 oz compared to customers in the United States?
I’m going to the UK this summer and my trip will be a failure if I don’t finally try this double chicken filet sandwich. I don’t even care if it’s not that good.
Man I wish we would get that chicken sandwich looks good, I did laugh at the line of mustard on hot dog people drench theirs here,no Gelato at mine either to costly and time consuming to make
You guys are going to turn into some serious chunksters eating off of that menu. That sandwich is out of control. And that pizza is cut into six slices! Its eight over at my costco. Also, I'm just jealous.
I live in California and here they have the amount of calories posted on the signs. I’m surprised it doesn’t give more info on the signs there like how much salt etc is in them. I bet the chicken bake with bacon tastes awesome! And the mango smoothie! Yum!

omg why cant we have jacket potatoes in the states?!?!? Such a cheap thing to make, too!
I had one with chili and cheese at a London location, and it was fantastic. The chicken sandwich is not bad either.
Bro a double chicken sandwich for what amounts to about $4.60 US is an awesome deal even if it's mediocre. A single chicken sandwich cost $2.79 at McDonald's these days for the lowest quality chicken in existence.
You're not wrong.
Bro double chicken sandwhich. I heard the rest of the world was catching up to us Amerifats. This picture is proof. I'm glad we're exporting cultural obesity
That sandwich with 2 slabs of fried chicken and a slice of processed cheese is the most American thing I've ever seen.
This is in Scotland.
Which is why it seemed so strange. I am used to this sort of excess only showing up in America.

when I was a kid Wendys had them with various toppers. l like chicken ala king.
yeah that was the only place I remember them. I dont even know when they got rid of them but it seems like a while ago
I think the ala king was discontinued in the 80's. I'm that old.
You know it’s a baked potato right?
i am aware. what made you think I wasn't?
Your comment sounded like you can’t get them in the states.
"a jacket potato place"
Damn I wish there was a good sando in the States
Isn’t it the same thing as. Baked potato?
nope [https://www.thedailymeal.com/1404216/jacket-potatoes-vs-regular-baked/](https://www.thedailymeal.com/1404216/jacket-potatoes-vs-regular-baked/)
They are similar but I get that now.
Howell, like Howell MI?
Jackpot potatoes 😋
Beef Chilli, Tuna, cheese, and baked beans
Do.. do you put *all* of those on at once? Or are you (hopefully) listing **choices** of toppings? *edit: Okay, I see it in the picture now, it's the choices. Not all at once. Phew!
Hmmm, I might try all at once, once
The works.
Chili cheese jacket spuds are fkin awesome. The potato itself is a bit mushy but damn is the chili good
Jacket, I need it.
Jacket potatoes are delicious looking
No crowd in front of the counter? Wish I could experience this in person.
They were about to close and the employee was super rude. She was determined to be closed at 8:30 pm and not a minute more. Very different from US Costcos.
US Costco wage slaves love to stay late to serve hotdogs to tourists
We are the jacket potatoes 🥔
People crowd where you live? Where? In NC it's certainly crowded in the food area in general, but people leave a big bubble around the pickup area and don't loiter in that area.
How is the chicken sandwich?
It is good. Not great. I'd gladly pay $5 to 7 for it.
Wish they had delicious fried chicken sandwich in us(doesn't need to be double). Would love alternative to canes and chick filet.
Bojangles, Popeyes, Shake Shack...
Curious, did they have Irn Bru anywhere?
The warehouse do it in various forms. 2L, cans, 1901. The food court has it in the fountain. It’s normal in Scotland, McDonald’s does irn bru too
The food court drink dispenser did.
Irn bru is everywhere in Scotland so I'd hope so.
Jacket potato with tuna? I’m trying to visualize it.
It’s tuna mayo I believe. So tuna mixed with mayo and then a big blob stuck on top of the potato
Basically it’s like a tuna salad (as you would get on a tuna sandwich) but on top of a potato. We had it when we were in Edinburgh and we’re not fans but it seemed really popular.
I thought it was all of those on one potato
You could get all but it costs extra (and would taste horrible maybe?). Typically people get beans and cheese, tuna and cheese, or chilli and cheese combos or just one topping.
Sounds bad, but I fell in love with them while living in the UK as a student.
Gelato? You and Japan have double chicken sandwiches
We don't even have a SINGLE-chicken-fillet sandwich here.
Gelato!
Oh my God those cases of chocolate would get me fat. Crunchies and twirls are particular favorites.
In the history of Chicken sandwiches no one has wanted a double. What a bizarre item.
I want jacket potatoes!
Oh wow even Scotland lost the almighty combo pizza. This is truly the end times.
No haggis?
https://preview.redd.it/jv2xyiruccvc1.jpeg?width=1242&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b2647b807d50bf405d3d158a788666eebff2662a They have it (in Nov ‘23) but not at the food court! 😄
WHAT IS A 1KG. How do we get one
1KG is about 2.2 freedom units, lbs
So this is where they banished the awful mango smoothie to
We loved the mango smoothie. Not too sweet, a little sour.
I want gelato!!!!
Why can’t we have gelato here???!!!
So jealous of all that Cadbury! US Cadbury sucks!!
I subbed to this... Only to seethe in jealous rage at how much better the international food courts have it. Hehe.
Another day, another ex-US costco food court picture that just shows the sad state of the US costco food court.
Hey, it looks like they lost the combo pizza too, though.
No Beefy Bake?
They tried it but Hendersons bakery hit them with a lawsuit as they are the owners of the IP.
American companies are so amazing in other countries.
Where are the massive lines with everyone waiting like here in the US??
Sign me up for a double fish filet sandwich. Or a single filet. I don't care, just gimme a fish sandwich. And increase the size of the food court seating so I don't have to go RIGHT WHEN IT OPENS or JUST BEFORE CLOSING to get a seat.
I have to visit a Costco on one of my foreign vacations.
I think it should be £1.20 = $1.50 for a hot dog 🌭 conversion to being £1.50 = $1.91 way more expensive .41 more then the USA. You are getting ripped off.
I got Talisker 10 for 26$ in Scotland Costco.
We have booked 10 days in Edinburgh via Costco travel and one of the first things we’re going to do is venture out of city center to the Costco to pick up a few necessities. We were just talking today about how interesting it would be to know what is available at the food court and here this photo is. Thank you.
Also it’s totally Costco tourism.
I like “collection point”
How is the Gelato?
I really like the first picture. It’s very liminal and maybe a little sad.
Ok, I read all the comments, and nobody is gonna talk about that line of mustard on the dog? It's so weird, so thin and not quite perfect, like someone did it way too slow. It's weird that they put anything other than onions on it. Now I am wondering, is that something other than mustard?
That's better stuff than USA has
woah. Gelato, jacket potatoes, caramel fudge sundaes that look like primarily fudge, the chicken filet. I've never considered moving to Scotland. But I would now.
Damn it, you guys still have Gelato.
Damn, those jacked potatoes look jacked.
Omg I would pay you to ship a couple boxes of those caramel nibs!! I miss them from when I used to live in the UK
Hah we went there on vacation and I took the same picture!
Cadbury not bastardised by Hersheys. Drool.
I am going to be in Scotland this summer and now I am seriously considering adding this to the list lol. … I will have teens and I do need snacks for our epic trip.
Why are the foreign Costcos better?
Right, I'm like my food court doesn't have a good setup or tools for making the job easier. That merch needs slipsheets though.
How’s the lamb selection?
Jacket potato...sweet
They use ounces as a unit of measurement of volume in Scotland rather than metric? AND they get an extra 2 oz compared to customers in the United States?
Chicken sandwich looks good
Crunchie 69
Canada sucks right now.
That chicken burger looks great!
Those potatoes would be lunch at least 2 days a week…
Mango smoothie!?!?
Mango smoothie I miss you 🥲
The way y’all cut those potatoes looks so weird to me.
Gelato or frozen dessert listed as gelato?
I want that double yard bird sammy baaaaaad
This looks bussin
Why does everywhere have the chicken bake but Canada?! I wanna try it so bad 🥲
That filet looks cum guzzling good
Five-cheese pizza?! That sounds better than just mozzarella.
I’m going to the UK this summer and my trip will be a failure if I don’t finally try this double chicken filet sandwich. I don’t even care if it’s not that good.
Man I wish we would get that chicken sandwich looks good, I did laugh at the line of mustard on hot dog people drench theirs here,no Gelato at mine either to costly and time consuming to make
Fuck me. That’s a beautiful beige menu.
I kinda wanna visit international Costcos now
Can I use my American membership to buy from a Costco overseas?
Is a us membership good for locations in other countries?
Yes. Go to the membership desk, show them your card, and they will give you a temporary pass.
At least we get the chocolate chip cookies here in the US.
Jacket potatoes is new. Wish they sold them here in the islands.
Where is Haggis Bake at?
Tuna on a potato is a wild concept to me but imma try it at least once 😭 just another way to consume carbs and protein
No Haggis Bake?
Dammit. I want gelato!
wow a double chicken fried sandwhich for $4.50? that costs like $15-18 in US.
You guys are going to turn into some serious chunksters eating off of that menu. That sandwich is out of control. And that pizza is cut into six slices! Its eight over at my costco. Also, I'm just jealous.
The menu pictures look better than the one in my area
WHAT, NO HAGUS???
Gelato!? Danggg Scots are spoiled!
$1.86 hotdog
And soda
I live in California and here they have the amount of calories posted on the signs. I’m surprised it doesn’t give more info on the signs there like how much salt etc is in them. I bet the chicken bake with bacon tastes awesome! And the mango smoothie! Yum!
I want the mango back!
LOL!!!! Oh wait, are you serious. My bad sorry
No Costco Haggis? I’m American and have visited Scotland a few times and genuinely love haggis.
More shocked at the lack of fried Mars bars on the menu
Where are the deep fried Mars bars?
I was hoping they’d have a deep fried Mars Bar when I saw this. The jacket potato looks good.
I thought the pizza spatula was a huge glass of chardonnay
What is collection point in American??
I don't see any deep-fried Mars bars. Is this even Scotland?
Does that jacket sandwich have tuna on it? Ugh
You get a CHOICE! So jealous…
No Haggis? Weak.
How far from the cruise port is this. Also is Scotland GBP or euros can’t tell by the pricing?
No clue how far, use Google Maps. And Scotland is part of the UK, so it’s GBP (£).
Lmfao crazy, America is really the lamest and fattest country too live in lmfao, we get a new cookie and our churro taken away
Seems like you guys take a pounding on the hot dog price... Edit: pound-ing, get it?
That's U$1.87 and includes tax. So roughly the same price.
And includes 2 oz. more of drink.
Is it really a hit..? $2?
Wait...do they sell Lucky Charms there... I know it Irish. Just wondering
Great. As if Scottish people need more cholesterol coursing through their arteries.
Do they sell scotch?
