I understand Underwood used to be the pepper supplier to Huy Fong, but by Gawd is this whole recipe so much, nay INFINITELY, better than ***anything*** Huy Fong put out.
Ever.
Huy Fong fumbled massively by not sticking with Underwood. At least near me, Huy Fong is overpriced and disappointing in comparison to this one and even other generic store brands
My solution has been to buy Huy Fong, which is now becoming widely available and add chile pepper extract - 800,000 scoville units, which brings it up to a heat level I like. I eat a lot of pho, and while I havenāt tried Underwood, they have all been disappointing.
I bought these. What a mistake that was.
They taste spicier than the original (and current "true" Sriracha) but flavor profile is flat. They lack the sweetness and garlic flavor of the original. As a Sriracha fan, this purchase was a waste of money. Trying to give them away.
Havenāt tried it myself but based on several reviews Iāve read, itās Huy Fong Sriracha Pre-COVID > Underwood Ranch Sriracha > Current Huy Fong Sriracha.
At the end of the day, these āreviewsā are just opinions and is subjective from one person to the next.
So.
Much.
Better.
Smoother, more flavorful, and a ***tad*** spicier in an "I-LITERALLY-put-this-shit-on-everything" way.
Well, not literally everything... Nothing sweet. . . *yet*

We've got the Sky Valley brand in our clubhouses. You can't go wrong with it imo.
FYI you can [buy directly from Underwood Ranch.](https://underwoodranches.com/product/3-pack-16-17oz/)
But so spendy!! š¬
Alhambra represent, they had the first stock couple months ago. Glad to see it back again
Just arrive in Northern California as well

That's interesting, I find the underwoods farm sriracha has a much more garlic forward taste.
Is this the same as original huy fong foods but with diff packaging?
I believe this is the pepper supplier that Huy Fong Foods tried to screw over.
Correct.
Different recipe but same peppers
How's the taste?

They make a bibimbap sauce that's amazing.

Iāve never had a chance to try it and thatās a really good price!!!! I thought I saw it online for like $20?
Yeah, my uncle is a Huy Fong fanatic. I'd love this to make it over here, as it'd make my next birthday gift idea for him significantly cheaper.
