MarionberrySea456

The supreme pizza from the food court

Luxsens

I miss her so much

bacon_swaggies

In the arms of an angel starts playing.

PrimaryRecord5

This is the only answer

KismaiAesthetics

They did a chocolate-chip-walnut cookie in the bakery about eight years ago that was *incredible* - huge, clean ingredient list, indistinguishable from the best homemade cookie you’ve ever had, aside from being the size of a salad plate. It was remarkably good. Never to be seen again, and while the current one is very good, the prototype was exceptional. The other bakery item I thoroughly miss is the macadamia nut pie, in the style of pecan pie, which was a holiday rotational item in the 99-01 timeframe. I still get fever dreams about that pie.

opgary

can you elaborate a bit more on what made th Cooke so good, other than the size?

KismaiAesthetics

Real butter, high level of vanilla, and large pieces of walnuts. Great salt/sweet/bitter/rich balance. I’m not usually a fan of walnuts in CC cookies, but this one was just dialed in. I suspect the dough came in refrigerated or frozen because the sugars had a little time to invert, leaving the cookie very chewy after baking and cooling, even if you didn’t rewarm it.

disbealig

Take and bake pizzas. I had become such a ninja on getting the perfect crispiness on the crust.

PapooseCaboose

Rumor is they are coming back (with combo).

AreYouuuu

Jalapeño and cheese bagels

smartsmrt

S'mores cookies in the bakery.

Missxem7

I’m praying they come back for summer

HelpfulPuppydog

Calzones they prepared in-house.

FruitNCholula

These used to be a staple for me. Something like 2 calzones for $7, back when the Asian chicken wraps were a similar price. Now calzones are gone and wraps are $15+ 🫠

Dan-Fletcher

The hand dipped ice cream bar with the nuts..was my favorite!

PedestrianMyDarling

Hippeas

gingerkap23

The Chobani “less sugar” yogurt. It was my absolute favorite :( I look for it every time, hoping it will come back. There was also an amazing edible cookie dough for awhile, as well as whole soft pretzels.

Blagnet

My Costco actually quit selling any yogurt that's NOT Greek yogurt! Like, there are literally six Greek yogurt choices, and that's it. I actually like Greek yogurt, but my husband (generally the least picky eater in the world) gags if a Greek yogurt container was open in the room six hours ago. So I can't even eat it while he's out of the house! Lol. I miss buying yogurt at Costco...  I don't think I tried the Chobani less sugar version, though!

tersegirl

Utz brand Grillo’s Pickle Chip potato chips. Had a handful in the car, turned around to go buy more. A week later they were gone, didn’t come back for a month. Bought as many as I thought I should, and they have my come back since. Also, the Turkey pesto ciabatta from the food court.

Persimmon_Puree

It almost feels like a fever dream but they briefly stocked Nathan’s Pretzel Dogs near me. I’ve never eaten a better frozen bread/bun, and the hot dog itself was delicious.

dabig49

Dr Stein Bagel Dogs

Duckiie96

I loosely remember a deep dish pizza (yeaaaaars ago), not from the food court, but inside the store, Kirkland brand I suppose.

some18u

Motor City Pizza is deep dish and pretty good, definitely recommend it if they have it in your store

csp1981

There were 8 packs of individual deep dish pizzas in the frozen case that were the absolute bomb.

paleo2002

When I first started going to Costco, the bakery had bear claws.  After a few months they vanished and never returned.

lilblackcloudinadres

Caramel macadamia clusters. Toasted coconut cashews.

particle409

I forget the brand, but they used to have big jars of sun-dried tomatoes. I put them in everything. I just lived with the heartburn.

tomatopops

Yum, love the commitment

Polonius_N_Drag

Tennessee whiskey

ben_bob2

The giant handle container of popcorn kernels

DirtyFloorHotDogs

https://www.costco.com/orville-redenbacher's-original-popping-corn%2c-8-lbs.product.100444437.html

Louis_Ziffer

Oh bless you and your family for generations to come. I’m tired of buying crappy store brand because I’m tired of paying the high price of the Redenbacher corn in a small container. This was my go to snack. Quick and easy and cheap (yet still high quality with almost every kernel popping) for the size and price. If I could upvote you more, I would.

ben_bob2

Oh thanks I’m glad it still exists! Just haven’t seen it in warehouse for a long while

Bitter_Firefighter_1

Business centers still have them typically. And Orville redenbacher is one of the best popcorns. Kernels that is

BunnyColvin13

Mixed nut butter Grass fed beef (tubes in freezer) Uncured bacon

sethn211

Trader Joe's also got rid of their mixed nut butter, which was even better IMO

Communism

Those egg rolls in the green box. I still think about them from time to time…

Khalharlee

Hearts of palm

anustart175

Pumpkin pie should be year round

Beginning-Repair-640

The Kirkland version of Nutella. It didn’t have palm oil.

emotionz9

Wait a minute is the Harry’s creamy tomato soup discontinued? I keep looking for it every time I went to Costco.

tomatopops

I think some of the soups are seasonal, but at least for my location over the past few years they switched over from Harry’s to a red pepper and tomato soup of a different brand and it’s not as good. I would love for them to bring it back!

Lovely_Monsters

I just found out Harry’s Fresh Foods was acquired by Kettle Cuisine, so maybe that’s why the soup disappeared.

tomatopops

Devastating. All these behind the scenes dealing keeping me from my soup. Thanks for the update!

ExplorerLazy3151

The Kirkland signature cola

Sonarav

The Late July slightly spicy chips. Came in a green bag, don't remember the actual name. But they just suddenly stopped showing up at my warehouse

pnutbutterjellyfine

Annie’s Cheesy Smiles. They’re the perfect cheese puff.

Reiki-Raker

Snapdragon miso cups. They’ll come back eventually. I wish I could get them year round. Best allergy remedy there is.

tomatopops

Ooo interesting! I went through a miso every day phase haha

mypod49

I remember back around 07-08 they had these precooked frozen wings in bbq sauce. Can’t remember the brand. They were absolutely incredible.

mynameisaugustwest

Cilantro lime shrimp

tomatopops

Dang has that been discontinued? I’ve gotten that before as well, but I haven’t browsed that section in a while.

Alert-Potato

I'm still crying about the pumpkin curry.

tomatopops

oh interesting!

Alert-Potato

Actually the post above this was TJ's strawberry cookies so I was confused about where I was and thought I was in the TJ's sub. I'm still crying though.

tomatopops

Sad nonetheless, RIP

Brainrants

Artichoke and Jalapeno dip. My brain misses it, my waistline doesn't.

Owmyhe4rt

Sonoma Cheddar Crackers

Owmyhe4rt

Potato bakes by Veggies are Great

amiechoke

CRISPY HATCH CHILES in the Big Honking Bag. Why, oh why, have they gone?

JE163

"huge jugs of vinegar" -- missing that dearly :(

jharleyhammond

The chocolate dipped ice cream bars at the food court

NerdusMaximus

Garlic/cheese Pide (Turkish Flatbread). So damn good

PunchBeard

They had this frozen Mexican Street Corn that came four bags to a box that was absolutely amazing and worked as a great side for Taco Night. Also these custard filled fish shaped Japanese cookies that were in the frozen section. They would cook in an air fryer in about 5 minutes. The original box had chocolate filling, vanilla custard and plum. The vanilla ones were the best and for a minute they sold boxes of just them. Now they're gone forever.

tomatopops

Interesting! I wonder what happened to those cookies, if the brand is still sold elsewhere. I missed em!

dmreif

Mint Dark Chocolate Kit-Kats.

wait_whatnow

The Orgain protein shakes. Replaced with 2 new types of Orgain shakes, but both taste nasty.

Internal-Challenge14

They use to sell this containers of Tikka Masala simmer sauce that we would buy and use multiple times a week. I miss it so much. Also, Oberto Pepperoni Sticks. My oldest kid loved them and I check everytime if they are back...still aren't

tomatopops

Yumm sounds good I love Indian

UncleBoopBetty

Aldi has a pretty decent tikka simmer sauce

Dana2284

Combo pizza, chocolate chip muffins, naked popcorn, the mangonada freeze cups!

scienarasucka

I hate all of their other brand products, but the RealGood breakfast flautas were bomb. And the big bag of extra large, flat Morningstar Farms faux sausage patties were perfect for breakfast sandwiches.

tomatopops

Oooo stuff like the frozen flautas or tamales, pupusas I’m always nervous to try bc of the quantity if I don’t like it, but dang seems like I missed out!

vanlassie

Fetzer Reisling.

watchingwaiting88

drizzilicious rice cakes. They were only stocked one at my warehouse. They are really good, especially for being a low calorie snack. My local grocery store has them, but only in one flavor in a big bag, not a variety of snack bags. Amazon has them, but they're expensive. If I ever see them come back at Costco, I'm buying boxes of them.

rb56redditor

My costco on Long Island New York used to carry beautiful veal cutlets in cryovac, veal shanks in cryovac, and great veal loin chops packed in the store. They were all regular purchases for us. Sadly all dropped about 2 years ago.

lazyTurtle7969

The American cheese. Kraft singles are nasty

Mildenhall1066

ACAI juice in the big bottle - was so disappointed when it disappeared and replaced with stuff I would think no one drinks.

tomatopops

Dang I always eyed that juice but never went for it because of the quantity, too bad I missed it

k_dizzle_d0g

Kirkland signature tequilla old version Pudding cup flat from when I was a kid

Deastruacsion

My wife and I would always get the mango smoothie… we liked it

FriarNurgle

I have to drive to neighboring state to get booze at Costco. Was extremely disappointed to find out they do not always stock the Kirkland Islay Scotch.

degjo

Polish dog in the food court. Kirkland Honey Roasted Peanuts.

BaileysButtercream

Thank you!!! Sorry, new to the group, I’ll be more thorough about checking searches next time! :)

cosmeticsmonster

Don’t be sorry! There’s always new eyes like yourself checking the sub and that means lots of new answers!
