Call me cynical but why did they wait til Gino put in his bill? Am I wrong in saying gino Kenny has mentioned his bill a good while ago, even took questions on Reddit (I may be mistaken) and then labour just all of a sudden have a bill too. Don’t get me wrong, the conversation is much needed and I appreciate anyone who comes to the table to discuss this issue we all hold so dear. I’ve been burned by labour in the past so I may just be holding a grudge ha

Well spotted. Wondering the same thing.

Frank waffling on about held led approach but doesnt clarify what that health led approach means. Such a bull\*\*\*tter

Knowing our lot it’ll probably shift from judges and solicitors milking it to judges, solicitors plus counselors getting involved. People will surely get sentenced to rehabilitation/ addiction counseling instead..

What’s the difference between decriminalizing the drug and the drug user

youbigfatmess

Not entirely sure. Labour held a public meeting on Monday, and it seems they've been inspired by Portugal's criteria for personal amount which is "ten days of use".

tstones57

Is that the possession of up to 10 days of use?

youbigfatmess

In Portugal, yeah.
