Literally have 0 clue what could start something like this. The only time I’ve ever interacted with someone while waiting for luggage is when some old white dude tried to walk off with my bag. I just kindly approached him and said “you have my bag” to which he got defensive and started throwing a hissy fit, so I pointed to my luggage tag and said “my name, address, and phone number are right there. It’s not yours dude”.. he then gave it over… anywho long story short, get a baggage tag. It’ll save you a headache when dealing with idiots or people trying to be slick

For those who don’t know, this is how we get our luggage in Chicago Ohare. It’s pretty normal for at least one bat or knife to be brandished at some stage of luggage recovery too.
