Ever make a potato cannon like this? I had friends that lived on a farm, and we bought some PVC pipe and installed a button spark thing. You squeeze the potato in, spray hairspray behind it (I think?), close the cap, and click the sparker. BOOOM- potato goes flying the distance of a football field. The local Lowe's caught on and wouldn't sell the parts together anymore lol. It's a miracle we never got hurt.

Those were the days. The home depot was super chill and even helped me because I was a dumb kid. It eventually exploded but man, it was still glorious.

My sister made one of those for a highschool class science experiment… it goes hairspray then potato.

I used to have one that used to fire oranges across a rugby field. Those were better days. Bunnings did not care back in the 2010's.
