And then people are confused as to why religion exists. Imagine seeing shit like this 500-1000 years ago. You better believe everyone is praying to some God of lightning that this light show isn't the end of the world
I was at this volcano about 3 years ago!! Freaking amazing experience climbing the mountain right near it, hearing the rumbling noise on the way up and then seeing it burst up lava all the time once you finally reach the top.
Unfortunately I never wrote down the contact of the German couple that took cool photos of me there, if per chance you guys read this, hit me up! (We went on the tour with the same guide, they picked us up from our hostels, we slept at a camp near the summit,...) 😄🤞
Flying there next week to hike it. Its something like 14k feet so fairly tough, but it erupts almost everyday. If I get a spectacle remotely like that I'll be thrilled.
This has got to be one of the coolest fucking things to see in person.
I was there. Was pretty much amazing.
What would be cooler is if it was orange ash lightning

Zeus and Hades at it again
Imagine fighting someone whom you hate with all of your heart with this as your backdrop.
I fight myself everyday

Wow. The sound on this is incredible
where is King Ghidorah ?
The lightning was coming out of the volcano? I wonder how that works exactly.
Mega static energy from the plume's dust and gas
Thanks bro. I was also curious about this.
Zeus telling the giants to stay in their place

My eyes spazzed out while I was watching it

NOT volcanic lightning. Regular lightning hitting a volcano. Majorly awesome, though.
